| GOTW #1 Ole Miss @ #4 LSU - Tons of coach controversy brewing around Coach Macc. How does he handle the pressure? #14 Illinois @ Ohio State - We've gotten word the Fighting Illini held on to take a 27-24 win in the Horseshoe. Oklahoma @ #6 TCU - A Buc coached TCU squad takes the slim lead over the Sooners 31-28. #8 Oregon State @ #16 Cal - 9s takes on a tough squad out to prove they're a top dog in the Pac 10. Big implications for Coach 9s and Coach Harbaugh here. HEISMAN Well, the Rodgers brothers can't decide who they want to win the Heisman. They're both in the top three but right now James looks to have the lead after a 12 catch 198 yard 2TD preformance. Not to be out done Jacquizz has 7 receptions for 175 yards 2TDs and 31 carries for 130 yards. Bradley McDougald and Kale Cooper sit at 2 and 5 respectively. After McD had a MONSTER game with 10 catches 256 yards and 4TDs. That boy Kale had a FORCED FUMBLE as well! Brandon Bolden's proving strong to his adapted nick name of "Bowling Ball Brandon B" quite well. 1) James Rodgers OR ST 2) Bradley McDougald KU 3) Jacquizz Rodgers OR ST 4) Brandon Bolden MISS 5) Kale Cooper KU | |

| #1 Rebels Knock Off LSU In Death Valley 38-19
Brandon Bolden ran all over LSU 179 yards rushing 3TDS, 46 yards receiving 1TD
In what looked like it would be a nightmare game in Death Valley, the Rebels rallied in the third quarter and eventually poured it on in the fourth. Rebels starting QB Ray Cotton was sacked on a passing play and broke a few ribs, sidelining him from any action for at least 3 weeks.
"It's really unfortunate that Ray was asked to stand in there and almost expected to take a shot trying to make a play down the field. Our guys weren't really playing as hard as they would eventually at that time and he suffers from it. Thankfully we've got an impact player, All American QB as a backup and he certainly filled the void nicely today. With Jevan I think our offence isn't as comfortable because we can't be as free wheeling but I don't think Brandon had a problem stepping it up. I can't say enough about the season he's having. Our defence too, shoutouts. No one really stood out everyone was in on the action which is great. They played their hearts out. I'm really happy with our team going into the final weeks of the season," Macc had to say.
Jevan Snead proved to be todays player of the game, efficently passing 7-9 for 84 yards and 2TDs. It felt like the minute Snead stepped in the Rebels offence finally clicked. Bolden was sprung to some big runs after the Tigers realized Snead could throw. It was a great effort from a guy who didn't expect to play. They say - the most important player on a football team is the QB. They also say, the 2nd most important player is the BACKUP QB. Snead proved to be the difference today cutting up the LSU defence whenever he wanted.
"Jevan had a great game and Brandon's had enough game balls. He came over in the dying seconds and told me 'this ones going to Jev, Coach,' and I couldn't have agreed with him more. He had so much poise and moxy in the pocket. He's a great player to call your BACKUP QB. We're really lucky and I'm happy Ray's injury at least allows Jevan to show the world he's NFL qualified. He's a pocket passer so our offence is slightly different than normal but we'll adjust," Macc said.
PASSING Jevan Snead 7-9 84 yards 2TDs RUSHING Brandon Bolden 30 car 179 yards 3TDs RECEIVING Brandon Bolden 5 catches 46 yards 1TD Ferbia Allen 4 catches 61 yards 1TD Tray Talbot 2 catches 42 yards | |

| #2 STANFORD VS ARIZONA #2 Stanford Cardinal takes it's 9-0 record into the desert to take on 4-4 Arizona Wildcat's...Kickoff in about an hour, 3:15 PST.......Stanford jumped out to a big lead, thanks to the running of S Eschelman...who went for 105 yards on 17 carries, and A Luck arm, who was on today, hooking up with FR WR K Gordon, who had a coming out part with 5 catch's for 100 yards and a TD...Late score by Arizona cut the lead to 34-24 which would be the final score...side note as we get ready for OSU vs STAN game...has anyone looked at Quizz Rodgers number vs Eschelman...both players have 222 carries each, 15 TD....and Quizz had about 50 more yards, as both back's went over the 1000 yard marker this week...pretty amazing how close they are...Quizz WR kill Eschelman but both great PAC 10 backs!

| Bearcats Bounce Bulls, 38-13Cincinnati, OH-- The University of Cincinnati has improved it's record to 8-2 (5-1) after beating the hapless University of South Florida Bulls 38-13 today at Nippert Stadium. The Bulls who have under performed greatly this year with a record of 5-5, were no match for the surging Bearcats. Zach Collaros who has been inconsistent in his first year as starter had on of his best performances as far as efficincy finishing 17 for 20 with 212 yards 10 rushes for 79 yards and 3 total touchdowns. Darrin Williams also proved today that the Bearcats will not lose to much in the running game without Isiah Pead as he rushed 18 times for 101 yards and a touchdown. Armon Binns also had a good game on the offensive side catching 7 passes for 101 yards and a touchdown. Coming into the serious part of the season the Bearcats defense was also dominant as they shut down the dangerous BJ Daniels and and only allowed 13 points against an explosive Bulls attack. Cincinnati faces of against Rutgers next week. The bearcats need to win this final conference game and hope that Pitt stumble in one of their last conference games for a sheare of the BIG EAST conference title. | |
