#8 Auburn 2-0 vs Utah State 3-0

Auburn goes on the road again, Tigers have yet to play a home game, playing on the road the last 3 weeks, to take on the 3-0 Utah St Aggies...Aggies were tough early, but to much speed was there downfall, and way too much JR QB Tanquary Parrish....Parris broke his own QB record for TD in a game of 6, by throwing 7 in 3 qt of play...hooking up with 7 different WR...but his main target was TE Demetrius Kerr and WR A Gulley & T Stallworth, all three went for a combine 15 catch, 254 yards and 4 TD...Coach Harbaugh has a tough game next week, hosting 1-1 Tennessee Vol next week in a home opeaner, should be great SEC battle

Rebels Squash Commodores 52-24

In the ole rivalry of Ole Miss vs Vanderbilt, the Rebels prevail yet again improving Coach Macc's record against Vandy to 5-0. Today's player of the game went to QB Shaun Chambers who had his seasons best game, managing the clock well and distributing the ball efficiently. Throwing 17/27 for 256 yards, Chambers found five different targets, three for TDs. TE Tez Bradley is proving his playmaker status as he hauled in 5 catches for 85 yards and shows he can break tackles and beat guys with his speed. Chambers found Trey Talbot for a score, FB Adam Hughes and WR Ja Mes Logan for tallies, and Logan also returned a kick for a TD as well as Pat Patterson.

"Our special teams is really on a roll. Pat got his 2nd return for a TD allready and Ja Mes just had the blazing speed and is a threat to score every time that teams kick it his way. It's tough for teams to gameplan against us because either is just as deadly when returning as you saw today. I like the direction our team is going. The comrodery around the locker room is a great example for some of our young players who we feel has just as much potential as some of our senior members of the team in regards to leadership. Our boys are rallying together and RB Marc Payne has really taken over the offence well and LOLB Phillip Ervin is our spoken team leader," Macc said.

Defensively, the team spread the tackles out - seven players with at least 5 tackles. The defensive line has playhed exceptionally well and was on fire the entire afternoon today. It's obvious the recruiting done by Coach Macc has really paid off for this Rebel defense and they could argueably be the best defence he's set out onto the field.
