2015 Spring Ball and 2014 Recruit Progression

2015 Georgia Bulldogs Recruiting Trail WWW.SICEMDAWGS.NET Slideshow_1202621_uga.0805-bs3
FR LT Blake Cunningham smashes SR DT AJ McBride en route to a very impressive spring practice .

#60 LT BLAKE CUNNINGHAM

Blake Cunningham may very well be the most prized recruit in this UGA class of 2014. The 6'4 272 pound left tackle plays the position very athletically and has terrific strength, especially at this stage in his career. He came in as a three star prospect despite finishing spring practice argueably the best recruit in the class and without a redshirt from Coach Macc, which is good in regards to early playingtime for Cunningham. The toughest the UGA coaching staff had to battle for a recruit all year, Cunningham was eventually talked into coming to Georgia in the off-season and it's a terrific fit for him. He loves to get out and help in the run block and excells at it, and is no slouch protecting his QB, especially being able to push defenders away from the pocket.

FR FS Jake Jackson won his position battle, despite battling fifth year senior Lee McCall.

#28 FS JAKE JACKSON

A lot will rest on the shoulders of Jake Jackson this year playing the free-safety position in Macc's system. Any FS who has played for Macc in the past five years have been a leading candidate for the Thorpe Award and Jackson understands and has demonstrated he has the ability and know how to be an impact player in the SEC. Jackson out right WON the battle at FS with his size, speed, tackling ability and overall athleticism. He has the athletic ability to improve his short comings in his game - back peddling in coverage immediately and Macc wouldn't "throw him out to the dawgs" unless he was 100% confident this kid could play such a big position in his scheme. Another three star prospect and another terrific find from Coach Macc of a barely regarded player without any other offers who is ready to play day one.

JR WR Antwan Bryant is the teams most experienced offensive skill player with 44 catches almost 700 yards receiving last season.

#7 WR ANTWAN BRYANT

Antwan Bryant comes in as a player Coach Macc worked very exclusively into his system late in the season last year, specifically in the SEC clinching conference championship against Auburn. The off-season work of Bryant has shown tremendously, he's developed even quicker wheels and runs his routes now with more passion then ever. Bryant takes over from graduating and 2014 Returner of the Year Chris Wade, the kick and punt return duties and many believe by the end of the year, he could break his former teammates special teams record of four KR TDs. Bryant is most comfortable in the slot, so defences will see a lot of that, hoping it can cause match-up problems.

2015 Georgia Bulldogs Recruiting Trail WWW.SICEMDAWGS.NET Slideshow_1202704_uga.0805-bs7
FR RB Luke Miles may come in as the team's brightest star, after a near 200 yard preformance against rival Clemson week one.

#24 RB LUKE MILES

Luke Miles was the only running back the Bulldogs went after this season. After seniors Malicah Dawson and Chris Wade the teams one-two punch of thunder and lightning - you would've thought Macc would've hoped to go after another maybe less, skilled back to redshirt and improve. Macc's coaching staff searched through the off-season for another back but Miles was the only true freshman who showed up for camp so he was thrown right in the mix. Miles comes with 5'11 196 pound frame that's ready to take college punishment and be his teams feature back, because they'll need him. Backup JR Donte Murphy has proven consistently he doesn't have the speed to play running back in the SEC so most of the carries when Miles is tired will be given to SO RB Randy Johnson. Johnson has a similar skill set to Miles so it will remind fans of the Wade-Dawson combo of last year.

FR WR Blake Jones has won a starting position but not for what he did in spring, just for showing up.

#88 WR BLAKE JONES

Blake Jones came in a three star prospect but he came in ready to work. Dominique Browning was expected to be the teams playmaker at receiver but Browning has shown the coaching staff nothing but signs that he needs some more time to improve his speed and ability to play every down, something UGA suspected they would receive right away with him. Jones came in the speedy, thinner build who proved he could beat the Georgia corners occasionally and had some nice plays in the passing game. Don't expect Jones to account for most of his yardage on deep balls, but he'll be a steady 5 yards per catch receiver that etches forward for those extra yards for a first down.

2015 Georgia Bulldogs Recruiting Trail WWW.SICEMDAWGS.NET 090804_JDW_UGAPractice_0018
FR QB Lamar Herron has the weight of the UGA Football world on his shoulders.

#8 QB LAMAR HERRON

Lamar Herron brings a very colorful, out-spoken, swagged up and thugged out athlete to the QB position at Georgia and here he has been given the keys to the entire program. The ball has been placed in his hands and he has up to four years to run with it. And Lamar will be the first to tell you, running the ball - is something he enjoys doing. Herron comes in as the teams most IMPORTANT recruit, having to start at QB from day one however, thankfully the Louisiana super-athlete has the swagger, confidence and brings a different light from Rory Thatcher at QB to make the transition smooth. In practice, he's allready turning heads and making fans who showed up cat call but Herron's week one preformance against Clemson was all but what Herron is making himself out to be around here. Coach Macc is hopeful that it was an eye opener for him and two early rivalry games are more than enough to make Lamar "choke on his words" a bit. The very colorful, out spoken offensive leader is a double edged sword for the team and it may work out for the best or Lamar's off field antics may be enough to lose himself some playing time.

2015 Recruiting Trail

The Georgia Bulldogs pulled in their second recruit of the season, after the week four signing of WR Ryan Odom. Odom, signed on after being heavily sought after by Notre Dame, Cincinnati, Georgia Tech and North Carolina. Odom is a Junior College player out of Jackson, MI currently playing for Southwestern Michigan JC in both basketball and football. Odom, the 6'2 168 pound WR also plays point guard on the hardwood and will be dual-sport athlete for the Bulldogs. Odom ended his recruiting after all the pressure, attention and praise he's had after becoming ESPN's #1 overall rated football recruit. "I just wanted to make my decision because I'd found the school I want to go to. I know how Macc uses his receivers and I want to be the next one," Odom said. Odom will jumpstart the teams basketball program as well, as he's the nephew of the great Lamar Odom whose now long retired and has been in talks of taking over coaching the Bulldogs program.

RYAN ODOM *****

Best 40: 4.40
Bench Max: 217 .lbs
Class: 2015 (Junior College)

STRENGTHS
- Footwork
- Agility
- Route Running
- Speed

This kid is amazing with the ball in his hands, his work on the hardwood court really shows when he has the ball in his hands. Nobody flies in open space like this kid and it's all hustle speed mixed with athletic genetics. He is the perfect, clear cut answer for kick and punt return the Bulldogs have been waiting for. Look for him to make a huge impact from week one next season.

AREAS FOR IMPROVEMENT
- Overall Receiving

While Ryan won't exactly make a habit of dropping passes, he could improve his stock if he continues to work in ball drills to improve his ability to make an impact down the field. Ryan will make a name for himself in the return game, but if he improves his ability to catch the simple, quick passes or even make the brilliant catch when being covered, he will be a nightmare for coaches to gameplan against.

BIOGRAPHY

Ryan Odom is a 20 year old junior college student out of Jackson, Michigan currently playing at Southwestern Junior College in Michigan. Ryan is a two-sport athlete and the nephew of former LA Laker and Miami Heat great, Lamar Odom. Ryan grew up in south west Michigan where he excelled in basketball his entire life, his uncle having a tremendous impact on how often he played, where he played etc. etc. Ryan entered high school and decided to convert into a dual-sport athlete with the ability to cut even more class if he were to play football. In Ryan's freshman high school year he broke the Michigan Freshman state record for punt and kick returning yardage with 1091 (PR) and 1817 (KR) with a combined ten touchdowns in the two. The coaches realized Ryan's terrific footwork and put him in the slot as a receiver and he lead his team to state championships each year, running, receiving and returning the ball. In Ryan's junior and senior year, he won the D3 Basketball and Football MVP honours as well as lead his team to winning the state championship in both football and basketball. Ryan didn't focus on his school work and got mixed into a bad crowd during his "year off to improve his studies" and his uncle got him enrolled at Southwestern where he's currently working on getting his team through playoffs in basketball.

"I like to have the ball in my hands, in both sports. I can hurt teams if you expect one guy to cover me, or I can be used as a decoy to help my teammates. Either one, I'm not the biggest guy but I love contact and I'll never shy away from making or receiving a big hit or block. I can't wait to make an impact on the Bulldogs in both sports and at the end, I'll decide which one it is I want to try to go pro in," Odom said.

2015 Recruiting Trail

The Georgia Bulldogs pulled in their second recruit of the season, after the week four signing of WR Ryan Odom. SS Corey Martin enters the program fresh out of high school and has all the skills, athleticism and ability to make an impact immediately on the Bulldogs football program. Martin is a hard-nosed, defensively sound player and a coaches dream in practice. Martin comes in as the nation's finest safety prospect, with the "head and shoulders above all others on the field" talent in a talent-rich Florida D4 football league. Martin lead his team and the league in tackles in his junior year with 62 solo, 36 assisted, 15 TFL, 10 sacks and recorded 2 INTs. Martin is a natural safety who plays with the disposition of a linebacker.

COREY MARTIN *****
Ht: 6'2
Wt: 198 .lbs
Best 40: 4.56
Bench Max: 408 .lbs
Class: 2015

STRENGTHS
- Tackling
- Coverage
- Disposition

Martin could be night-and-day above all other tacklers in this class, defensive backs, linebackers or even defensive linemen involved. Martin understands the fundamentals of tackling, how to hit, where to hit and the general admiration for hurting his opponents and striking fear in their eyes as they come to the LOS. He's very active on the field and has been used to being the defensive captain his entire life so he'll bring a young, fresh angle on leadership that even his upperclassmen will appreciate and feed off of. Terrific kid with a great mindset and is argueably as good in the classroom as he is on the football field. Martin will never be a problem for Coach Macc and will come to practice six days a week with the mindset of getting better, learning and the desire to win each and every day.

AREAS FOR IMPROVEMENT
- Speed

Although his speed isn't horrendous, Martin could make himself an All American candidate in his sophmore year if he improves his open field speed. He's a very aggressive, stay at home safety who will consistently make plays in coverage so he won't neccesarily NEED to have blazing speed to catch-up to receivers down field. He doesn't have amazing straight-line speed however he is about as good as you can get at this stage in back-peddling, hip swivling and all the other little nit picking aspects of defensive back.

BIOGRAPHY

Corey Martin is a very highly regarded prospect in the high school football world for his ability to do everything well. He currently plays for St. Petersburg in Petersburg, Florida. Martin chose to go to Georgia over Iowa in what appeared to be an intense recruiting battle all year. Martin ultimately chose Georgia for the ability to contribute as a playmaker immediately and to be coached by Shaun Macc, among the leaders in NCAA in terms of defensive back coverage.

"I love to play safety and I love to make the big hit. I'm the type of kid my teammates and coaches can rely on to make big hits, deflect passes, understand the coverages we run and help out in any way. I love practice and making myself better. I want to be the best possible player I can and hopefully one day play in the NFL" Martin said.

2015 Recruiting Trail

Coach Macc and the rest of the UGA coaching staff finished their allready favourable afternoon in the Florida-Georgia game with another commitment from high school senior Ryan Walker out of Greendale, Wisconsin. The three star running back prospect has been wowing coaches all across the country with his 1000 yard rushing season through just six games. Ryan plays for the Greendale Panthers in a very prestigeous high school football program and has taken over the leadership role of team captain there and is focused on leading his team to a state championship, their first since 2007. Walker is among the fastest of the high school athletes this year and says he'd like to explore a dual-sport collegiate career in track as well.

RYAN WALKER ***
Ht: 6'1
Wt: 213 .lbs
Best 40: 4.34
Bench Max: 283 .lbs
Class: 2015

STRENGTHS
- Speed
- Agility
- Agressiveness

Ryan Walker has tremendous upside at the college level with his allready terrific speed, mixed with his college-ready level body type and the agressiveness when running the ball to use his impressive power and not shy away from tacklers. Walker fits the exact scheme the Bulldogs have decided to run recently, demanding having a quick set of wheels but also be able to run through the tackles, Luke Miles is struggling at times getting to the outside quickly so there's certainly going to be playing time waiting for the three runningbacks Coach Macc has pursued this year, Walker, looking to be the most promising early.

AREAS FOR IMPROVEMENT
- Running Style

Ryan has a tendency to just rely on his speed or his ability to juke and dance around defenders too much, especially in the return game. He's a terrific runner with great speed and the ability to get to full speed quick - he needs to realize he'll be more effective when he makes defensive backs and smaller linebackers have to tackle him. He slows his momentum when he stops and starts and often gets tackled standing still.

BIOGRAPHY

Ryan Walker is a track athlete/football player for the Greendale Panthers in Greendale, WI. Walker grew up playing football and started his career about as young as you can. Born into a football family, Walker's brother Chevon played at Florida for four years and just recently graduated. Ryan says his recruitment began early this year and UGA was really the only legitimate school coming to watch games, talk with him and he says the transition has been really smooth. He's looking forward to playing in the Florida-Georgia game as it was always one he and his family would make it up to see and the recent success the Bulldogs have had certainly boosted their stock with him.

"I knew I wanted to be a Bulldog or a Gator at heart before I was even recruited. My brother played a big role in those games every year and I'm glad I'll get to contribute in that game also. I'm really fast, I can get to full speed quick and I can move in open field. If you give me a few legit blockers that won't quit, I'll take it to the house every time. I've got great vision and I love to run defensive backs over. I HATE defensive backs I want to embarass them and make them want to quit," Walker said.

2015 Recruiting Trail UGA signs three BIG offensive players!

The recruits were pouring in after such an exciting Florida-Georgia game and the Bulldogs improve to the 5th ranked recuiting class after pulling in 4* RB Joe Page, 4* WR Dwayne Jackson and 3* WR Julian Moss. The three could all in their own right earn playing time early next year. Coach Macc and the Georgia coaching staff have been praised for finding key playmakers that flew under the radar here at Rivals.com and these three kids could all be very well 5* prospects or at least ready to contribute just as much as any other recruit in this entire class, immediately.

RB Joe Page brings a great skillset to the Bulldogs, with a terrific set of wheels and big play ability Page will use his speed to get to the outside and run around defenders. Page shys away from contact at times and has been known to have the tendency to take plays off so he'll need to improve his conditioning, his blocking skills and knowledge, as well as his vision if he wants to see playing time. Page right now is projected to be a redshirt candidate if Macc doesn't see immediate playing time in his freshman year but will be a terrific project player to keep an eye on if you're a Georgia fan.

WR Dwayne Jackson is a hometown Georgia boy who will be a fan favourite immediately with his big play ability and the skill set to contribute offensively, immediately. Jackson is regarded among the best hands in the class of receivers and could be the most clutch of the prestigeous group. Jackson's average set of wheels will almost ensure he won't be playing special teams, but that may be because the coaches want to keep him fresh to catch the ball. His hands are about as good as you could possibly get at this stage in his career and he's pursuing a shot at a state championship this year in Bainbridge, GA.

WR Julian Moss is a Sunshine State receiver with tremendous speed and ability to catch the ball. The young cousin of former great Marshall Herd WR Randy Moss, Julian has a very, very similar skill set and body type that will allow him to be a highlight reel playmaker at the next level. Moss is tremendously competitive and loves to go up and catch jump balls, he uses his body well but catches the ball with his hands. Julian can transition and do what's neccesary to make the catch and is suseptible to hot-streaks where it appears as if he can't drop a pass. Julian can beat corners outside and deep, cut in and take a short slant pattern and run well enough laterally to take the motion end-around feed. Moss loves to have the ball in his hands and is a quarterbacks best friend with all of his YAC.

JOE PAGE ****
Running Back
Buford, Georgia
Buford
Ht: 5'11
Wt: 209 .lbs
Best 40: 4.38
Bench Max: 229 .lbs
Class: 2015

STRENGTHS
- Speed
- Ball Handling

Joe Page could very well be a highlight reel, feature back on 3/4 of the teams in the NCAA, however he's chosen to pursue a career at Georgia where he will be in the rich-talent pool of running backs. A hometown Georgia boy, Page will use his speed to get to the outside and hope he can beat you to the edge. Page has been known to be very undedicated and an issue off the field, so hopefully the college scene and coaching staff can whip him into shape for his own good. He's got a chronic pot smoking problem, the kid just can't stay off the kush. His lungs as suspect and if he doesn't report to training camp in the spring with a fresh set of lungs he can almost be certain to have a redshirt waiting for him.

AREAS FOR IMPROVEMENT
- Stamina
- Blocking
- Injury Prone
- Dedication

For being a player that relies on his speed and body to wear defences down, Page has a horrendous set of lungs that barely allow him to play three downs let alone an entire game. He's very, very suspect in regards to that as well as a useless blocker, so he won't do himself any justice in vying for playing time. He's a known thug and gangster and has had a long history of charges and indictments - he just cannot seem to stay out of trouble. He's also decided to prusue a college career at home so this could really hurt the stock of this RB, he should have really considered going to North Carolina or Ole Miss.

BIOGRAPHY

Joe Page is your typical kid from Buford, Georgia who spends most of his time south in Atlanta-Decatur. It's undetermined whether or not this kid is more known by football scouts or by the Atlanta Police Department but best believe both are very familiar with him. Page is consistently kept off the field whether it's drug possession or assault charges, or school suspensions. He's played in half of his games this year but when he shows up to play - he can be very effective. Kids at his age have a tough time keeping up with him and he's very physical in a soft high school division, at times Page looks like he cannot be tackled. He's consistently off the field in games because he's winded and he'll need to address that issue if he wants to be a big time college player. The scouts were very generous with his 4* ranking, he could be more of a 2 or 3* player when you take into consideration everything that comes along with this kid.

"I chose Georgia to stay at home close to my friends and family. I know I've got a bad image but Coach Macc's promised that at Georgia I will get a clean slate. I'm not the perfect kid and I doubt I'll be very good in the classroom, but if you give me the rock I'ma score touchdowns, I put that on everything," Page said.

Wide Receiver
Bainbridge, Georgia
Bainbridge
Ht: 6'0
Wt: 185 .lbs
Best 40: 4.62
Bench Max: 265 .lbs
Class: 2015

STRENGTHS
- Clutch / Big Play Ability
- Route Running
- Agility

Dwayne Jackson is a very well-rounded and complete receiver, the perfect prototype for the Bulldogs right now. His ability to come up clutch and make the big play will be tough to keep him on the bench and not get four true years of experience out of him. Jackson could have argueably the best skill set for a receiver in this class when you consider all areas of the position. While he's not the fastest, he runs crisp routes and is always on point. He won't drop anything humanly catchable and he can go up and make incredible plays that nobody thought possible. Very agile and a terrific kid, he'll be a fan favourite quickly as a down south Georgia boy and his flashy style of play.

AREAS FOR IMPROVEMENT
- Speed
- Catch in Traffic

These are by no means a crisiticism because this kid is the total package. If he were to improve his speed or ability to be undefendable, he would be an All American receiver by the time he steps on campus! He's a proven playmaker who could really improve his stock by working on his quickness, but it's by no means a glaring issue in his development. Dwayne could cut down to 175-170 to improve his quickness and still be very effective. If Dwayne comes to spring camp with the current work ethic and a positive attitude, he'll avoid the redshirt status.

BIOGRAPHY

Dwayne Jackson lives in the heart of south Georgia and you can tell it immediately by his accent. Unlike the typical teenager in Georgia, Dwayne had his sights set on a career in football at an early age. A three year lettermen (and currently working on his fourth) at Bainbridge HS, Jackson leads a very promising Bainbridge Bearcats football team to what could be an undefeated season and fourth straight state championship. Jackson had his sights set on Georgia since he was a kid, but admits he was very pursueded to go to Alabama and Clemson in his recruitment. Jackson plays both ways for his HS team and brings to the field the playmaker mentality and natural athletic ability that is one in a million. A great work ethic and a solid all around kid who won't cause problems for the coaching staff - he's one to keep an eye on!

"I love catching the ball. I like when whoevers defending me talks trash, except I like to respond making a big catch in his face and smiling at him when walking to the line of scrimmage. I like getting hit, believe it or not and I'll always hold onto the ball. You could consider me like a little Hines Ward, not the biggest guy but I'll always find a way to beat you and I'll always come to the LOS 110%," Jackson said.

STRENGTHS
- Speed
- Hands
- Strength

Julian Moss is everything you want in a wide receiver, he's got the size, the hands and the know-how to use his body to his advantage. Julian is incredibly strong for his size, bench pressing nearly three hundred pounds for the UGA staff when they went to in-school visit him. He's a work-horse and his teams coveted leader, vocally and statistically on the field. He catches the ball in every aspect great, he makes himself undefendable at times with his ability to catch the ball in traffic. His sunshine state speed is a direct reflection of the prototype athlete you'll find in the south.

AREAS FOR IMPROVEMENT
- Release

Despite being able to bench press 100 pounds more than he weighs, Julian has trouble at times getting his defender off of him. Teams have had success against him putting a bigger safety or linebacker up on the line to jam him, making him furstrated and throwing him off of his game. He's a very emotionally charged player and he'll need to check the negative aspects of that at the door if he wants to see playing time early. Julian really only needs work in this area because all others he is a STUD.

BIOGRAPHY

Julian Moss is the cousin of the late great WR Randy Moss who didn't have the opportunity to go to a coveted school like Georgia. His cousin Randy is very involved in his career, especially having retired a few years ago. Randy vouches for every aspect of his young cousins game and the comparisons between the two are allready being made with Julian's ability to contribute offensively in so many different ways. The 2015 Florida Georgia game sealed the deal for Julian, and he realized Georgia will be the right fit for him because he can stay close to home and he'll get to play against his favourite team, the Florida Gators. Julian didn't seem to be too upset that Florida didn't go after him recruiting, he knows his juniour-year season ending knee injury hurt his stock, he's just glad an SEC powerhouse noticed his talent and picked him up.

"I'm a Bulldog from here on out. I can't wait to get to spring camp to work with Lamar and Blake. Those two put on a clinic in that game last week and I hope to be the next big playmaker as a Bulldog. I'll do whatever it takes to earn my spot and if that means redshirting my first year, so be it I'll come out with a full year of experience the following year as a freshman and light it up!" Julian said.

Another multi-signing week with second straight SEC Championship!

Recruits pour in this week for Georgia with six signings, four four stars and two three stars. Coach Macc is impressed with his class thus far and has gone on the record saying "any one of the kids whose signed on this year have the talent, ability and know-how to come in next season as playmakers immediately,". Macc addressed some of the teams most glaring future issues - replacing a very senior heavy offensive line. Macc has signed two huge prospects in *** G Dwayne Gold and *** C Ryan Love, both very well rounded blockers who will spend next season as redshirts so they're four years can be utilized to their maximum potential. Rivals.com insiders say that although this class doesn't look amazing on paper, a lot of these 3 and 4* players have a tremendous upside.

MATT HUNTER ****
Running Back
Southgate, Michigan
Southgate
Ht: 6'2
Wt: 191 .lbs
Best 40: 4.38
Bench Max: 283 .lbs
Class: 2015

STRENGTHS
- Speed
- Strength
- Durability

Matt Hunter allready has the body type to take college punishment and he has the set of wheels that will make him an instant threat for starting time. He's very tall and lean but he uses his size almost as well as you can and doesn't shy away from tacklers. Hunter may not be the highest rated, but right now could be the most promising running back recruit UGA has in a talent rich class where they DOMINATE the position.

AREAS FOR IMPROVEMENT
- Vision
- Hands

Matt Hunter could really help his cause if he were to improve his average catching ability and vision on the field. He relies on his speed and while it's blazing, he'll need to realize in college it's not all speed that matters. He'll need to work on his in and out cuts and imrpoving his ability to make them faster to be a complete back. He's by no means finished in terms of developing, he still has plenty to learn but he's a great athlete with a good head on his shoulders.

"I was thinking Georgia, North Carolina and Ole Miss all year. I wanted North Carolina because I think they've started something special there, but I want to stay at home and help continue what special they've got going on here at Georgia. I think I can be the Matt Payne type of back for Coach Macc, if he lets me take the rock 25 times a game he'll have the freshman AA next year,"

LONNIE STEVENSON ****
Tight End
Sulphur, Louisiana
Sulphur
Ht: 6'4
Wt: 216 .lbs
Best 40: 4.78
Bench Max: 420 .lbs
Class: 2015

STRENGTHS
- Hands
- Strength

Lonnie Stevenson is built like a typical wide-out flanker but plays with the disposition of an agressive offensive linemen. He's terrificly strong for even a tight end, typically some of the strongest players on the field and while he doesn't have terrific straight line speed, he runs well. He uses his body when receiving when he needs to but generally catches the ball with his hands, which is something he'll need to continue to improve on if he wants to crack the starting line up. Stevenson could have a big upside at fullback, as well.

AREAS FOR IMPROVEMENT
- Blocking

While he wasn't recruited to protect the QB, Lonnie's game is all receiving. He'll almost never drop a pass that's catchable, although he may not get to some due to his average set of wheels. He's not SLOW for a tight end, he's just not very fast. He could improve his stock if he were to work on cutting down and playing at 205-210.

"I don't care where it is I play, I just can't wait to be a Bulldog. I'm a big blocker, I'll hurt you and I always try to - every play. I love throwing the big block and creating the whole for my running back, I can't wait to work with the freshmen we've got coming in next year," Stevenson said.

PAUL COX ****
Free Safety
Harrison, Michigan
Harrison
Ht: 6'1
Wt: 208 .lbs
Best 40: 4.48
Bench Max: 384 .lbs
Class: 2015

STRENGTHS
- Strength
- Tackling
- Aggression
- Pursuit

When Coach Macc created his prototype free safety, Paul Cox was born. Cox runs like a corner, hits like a linebacker and tracks ball carriers down like a pass rushing defensive end. Cox surprised everyone with his decision to go to Georgia after Ohio State pulled their offer. Cox realizes he'll sit behind Jake Jackson whose having a terrific breakout freshman campaign, but will be asked to be the starter in his juniour and senior year.

AREAS FOR IMPROVEMENT
- None

Not to say he's perfect but Cox is very well aware on the football field and fundamentally sound. He doesn't do anything poorly and nothing really sticks out. He does everything either exceptional, or well.

"Believe it or not, Jake Jackson inspired me to want to come here. He's elevated his game quickly and I hope to learn from him and feed off of what he feels he has had success doing since coming to the SEC,' Cox said.

RYAN LOVE ***
Center
Pine Hills, Florida
Pine Hills

Ht: 6'4
Wt: 304 .lbs
Best 40: 5.04
Bench Max: 432 .lbs
Class: 2015

STRENGTHS
- Pass Block Knowledge
- Run Block Footwork
- Impact Blocking

Ryan Love plays like a man possessed and he's the type of guy if you're the head 'ball coach you want walking off the bus first. He's a huge mammoth who loves to inflict pain and he's got no soft side to him. He doesn't have amazing speed when out in front in the run block but his footwork will force defences to take different angles at the running back and he's been known to wreak havoc and spring his back for 200+ yard games consistently, double teaming a teams best two tacklers.

AREAS FOR IMPROVEMENT
- Overall Run Blocking

While he moves his feet terrificly in the run block, he could make himself an All American candidate early if he improves his ability to block consistently.

"I'm the type of guy you can count on in those clutch situations, I won't be a problem penalty wise and I'll come to work hard every day, that's the player you can demand out of me," Love says.

JERROD WILLIAMS
Outside Linebacker
West Odessa, Texas
Permian

Ht: 6'2
Wt: 209 .lbs
Best 40: 4.46
Bench Max: 384 .lbs
Class: 2015

STRENGTHS
- Speed
- Tackling
- Pursuit
- Agility

For a natural linebacker, Jerrod Williams has terrific speed. Cut from a fine cloth, the son of part of the undefeated 1981 Permian Panther team, linebacker Mike Williams, Jerrod has had all the ultilites to be a quality football player at this point in his career. Despite slipping under the radar as the Panthers couldn't quite capture success in Odessa, Georgia was eyeing this kid from day one and he's argueably their finest addition to date. He'll vy for playing time early with his versatility and ability to change a game.

AREAS FOR IMPROVEMENT
- Getting Off Block

At times, Jerrod has trouble when being persued. He could certainly improve his technique and possibly even his strength to become a bigger threat and get into almost any play in the backfield.

Two playmakers turn Bulldogs!

2015 Georgia Bulldogs Recruiting Trail WWW.SICEMDAWGS.NET KHALEKSHEPHERD09AC150
SHANNON CARTER ***
Safety
Milledgeville, Georgia
Southgate JUCO

Ht: 6'2
Wt: 191 .lbs
Best 40: 4.52
Bench Max: 384 .lbs
Class: 2015 JUCO

STRENGTHS
- Tackling
- Zone Coverage

Shannon Carter brings junior college experience making him an easier transition into meaningful playing time, but Corey Martindale is incredibly college ready so Mr. Carter may have a redshirt in his near future and become a player that has to find a way onto the field. He won't miss a tackle and he'll be involved in a lot of pass breakups and interceptions.

AREAS FOR IMPROVEMENT
- Size
- Man Coverage

If Shannon Carter could play at 209, he could be a strong consideration to play linebacker. Right now he's very small despite his ability to be very dangerous in the tackling game. He doesn't hit incredibly hard, he just won't miss a tackle. He's very weak in man coverage, which is what's making scouts point their finger at the transition to LB.

"I'm going to come and compete day one, I don't care what little kid they signed. I'm ready to play and I've been a Bulldog since I came out the womb!"

TERRENCE RUSHING ***
Offensive Guard
Beachwood, Ohio
Beachwood

Ht: 6'2
Wt: 188 .lbs
Best 40: 5.06
Bench Max: 462 .lbs
Class: 2015

STRENGTHS
- Run Block
- Strength
- Athleticism

Terrence Rushing plays the offensive guard position very athletically. He relies on speed and strength to overpower even the biggest, fattest defensive tackles. He gets out into the open field and sets blocks and is terrific coming off of the pull and gets himself in position to set big holes, consistently.

AREAS FOR IMPROVEMENT
- Pass Block Footwork

Terrence Rushing will give up a few sacks a year. However, it's a gamble you take when you put him on the field and get the luxuries of all his hard work in the running game.
