well bucc if u think about it now...its less because of all the at large bids.. before we had lumber ones playing number ones.. but illi is number 3 in the big ten.. florida state is number 3 in the acc... so i think it creates more at large bids n then puts conf champs vs the at large bids.. all tho u not being in the rose makes no freakin sense... but hey ill take a bowl win end my season number 3

titan I think you play Texas or Ole Miss. I think Illinois plays on of these teams also. But I can't remember. lol

The Rose Bowl would See The Oregon Ducks vs Kent State who went undefeated and was ranked #5 In the country.. "This was national championship kinda team we had this year..and i kno kent state was undefeated and i salute the coach n the job he is doing out there but we wanted to prove that they didnt belong.." Coach santana made that a very clear and some what harsh statement when asked about them possibly losing to kent state almost to the effect that he took it personally.. Well his team must has felt the same way as they bully kent state. It was like watching in space jam in how much bigger ,faster,stronger they were then poor little kent state.. but there would be no happy ending for the golden eagles..."We knew the couldnt match up with us.. it was like playing football at the park on sunday with ur friends" said qb Atari West about his performance it was perhaps the best rose bowl performance ever even rivaling that of the great vince young.. he set the single game school record throwing for 505 yds on 34-46 attempts he also had 6 td . It was something to see the way he but it to kent state and if this was any sign of how much he has matured since his freshman season.. then im afraid to talk about him next year as a jr.. i think everyone is talking heisman for him next year..The rb for the ducks all year have been outstanding jr Mike howards and tru freshman dieonte fisher.. and they both showed up in the rose bowl today. Howard had 11 att for 133 and 2 td.. Fisher had 3 att for 107 and 1 td and 4 rec for 83 yds.. everyone caught a ball the hiesman winner played well as usual 8 rec 107 yards and 2 tds.. Cox played well 7 rec 96 yards but it was the big te moss who stole the show as they couldnt find an answer for the 6'3 259 ound jr.. he had 6 rec for 91 yards and 3 td.. the final score was 70-7 and this is the first bowl win for the ducks since coach santana has arrived and i think its safe to say this was an exclamation point on a wonderful season for the ducks...
