Chris Richards completes 71% of his passes for 263 yards and 6 TDs with no Ints with another TD on the ground. Jeremy Irvin went for 110 yards on 15 carries. Reggie Rowe had 8 receptions for 101 yards and 4TDs. DT Ricky Anderson had 10 Tackles, 3TFL, and 1 Sack. Michael Muse had 9 Tackles, 4TFL and 2Sacks. The 2018 Glass Bowl was a joke. (I didn't know I had yet ANOTHER rival... I think that's 5 or 6?)

QB Lamar Herron had an outstanding day in Toledo today, a QB Rating of 245.8 throwing 15/22 for 269 yards with a 5 touchdown game, no blemishes. I'm really gonna miss this kid after this year, I need to make a challenge for another SEC and Big Bowl because after this year, we'll be really young again at our skilled positions offensively. Lots of promising talent to replace my boys now but I'll really miss this class. To think they were all 4*s theyre now preforming (and last season) like 5 year vets.

The running game? I decided to hand most of the runs off to RS freshman Malik Jackson... who will assume the rest of the #1 RB duties the rest of the year in hopes Ryan Walker returns for his senior year and will feel like he has something to prove. If he wants to elect, I think I'll let him go he's single handedly won me handfuls of games, CPU or user or other wise. By far my favourite RB I've ever coached. Malik Jackson doesn't possess the size or ability to break tackles, but today he really showed why I was so insistent on recruiting him. A modest 12 carry 67 yard 5.5 avg per carry day, he catches the ball well out of the backfield and gets up field quick on screens. 2 catch 52 yard day, highlight was his 52 yard screen that went to paydirt. He also returned the games opening kick off all the way for six.

Super sophmore Julian Moss proved he's my teams biggest playmaker receiving the ball, which is perfect when I have to replace three senior receivers. I don't know how this kid progressed so well... I think he was a 3* prospect who sat for a year and just worked hard. He caught 7 passes for 164 yards and had a TD and like Jackson also returned a kick for a touchdown. Very dynamic, fast, great hands and a big playmaker. I think Moss has the potential to be a Heisman candidate next season.

Defensively, my senior DLinemen showed me what I'll be missing next year. Its time to hit the recruiting trail hard for new playmakers.

Oh ya, final score - UGA 59 Toledo 10

FSU takes care of Rival Clemson 42-18....game started out slow for FSU, while the D keep them in the game...."not sure what is wrong with Mark Simpson, but he is really struggling at this point" said Coach Gruden....Simpson started off the game 2-7 for 13 yards, not all his fault as a couple of dropped ball contributed to the poor numbers...After a 46 yard fg put Clemson up 3-0, A Achilles took the KO 91 yards for a TD to get FSU on the board 7-3...after a 3 and out with 2:00 min left in the half, Gruden pulls Simpson for RS FR QB, Cole Maverick...and the 6'7 226 pound QB leads the team on a 70 yards that ends the half FSU up 14-3, after a long pass to AA WR K Williams...In the 2nd half FR HB Z McCulley takes over for James Wilder and provides a spark capping off a nice drive to take the led that would take the heart out of the Clemson team...The 6'7 hass from Texas, Maverick would end the day 11-23 207 yards 2 TD on 0 INT...McCulley would end the day with 17 carries for 78 yards....Nice win for the Seminoles as they prepare for Alabama next week.

to be honest K, i would be annoyed by all this...either we slow down the adv expectations...or you just straight SIM the game IMHO at the 24 hr mark..never understood the auto W...I have lost cpu vs game, so I expect to earn every W...

i dont think slowing down the pace is the answer we have been playing this for 9 years and have been fine we have never had a problem with the oace.. and 2 its the same ppl. 9's me goat cookan bucc u never have a problem EVER!!!! macc has been busy with work.. titan is hit or miss and ggang is on rare occasion has an issue.. meganfox has been good so far too.. so why slow down the whole pace of this od for 3 ppl.. they need to figure it out or get simmed. i am plenty busy trust me.. have the time im in a hotel somewhere but i get it done.. so they just need to get in gear.. titan n macc its no hard feelings but im just stating the facts..

I agee slowing it down would not be my answer...but imho we have 3 choices

1. Slow down
2. 24 ADV Automatic W
3. 24 ADV SIM game

My vote would be for option #3....I just think the auto W is silly...and would actually pick solution option #1 next, and my last vote would be for option #2

no automatic win....if you cant play...its let up to the sim gods...thats a fair shake....if you are too busy to play...you should be too busy to care that you might have got simmed...and I agree with chris and K.....we have played 9 seasons deep and never had problems with 24 hour advances

my apologies for getting everyone worked up, i thought i had been doing pretty good lately honestly and today was my first day of class and i had to do a dealer trade that they said would take 4 hours so i would be done by 4 or so, and it took 8 hours... the sim rule is fair, and i wont complain, just thought thats what we were doing.... i agree that the simming way is fair so thats a vote from titan as well

PostSubject: Re: 2018 Week 11 Discussion   Tue 18 May 2010, 9:38 pm

Alright I've gotta address this.

I'm taking full responsibility for the pace of the OD. I can't remember the last time i even advanced, and I just looked at a thread from Year 2 and I'm literally begging people to play or simming people's games so they don't catch a loss or an injury. I can understand it's very frustrating and tenous. Ax, remember I think it was when Buc was on TCU, I literally had to restart a game I think 50 times. I remember sulking to you about how long it took.

When we started Q4TB - I was an unemployed bum living off what little money selling a bit of dro could get me - with all the time in the world on my hands. I started working at Home Depot thinking it would be a part-time gig but I took a transfer to a new department that needed lots of help. They've realized I'm a quick learner and now I'm working 40+ hour weeks. I can understand that I set the bar high so your want to keep the pace going is understandable. I feel like the bad drug dealer that got his junkies all fixed up on his product and then moved onto something else and doesn't have time for the OGs.

I think I'm gonna buy a TV Friday so that any time I'm home I can at least account for my stuff and hopefully be able to contribute faster. Now if I'm one of the last to play and I see Ax or Buc on, I'll play two in a row so that we can keep it moving. I used to have to save it so I'd have something to do the next day in situations like that. Now that even my free time is precious because I'm at HD all the time - I can't afford to do that, so I've done ALMOST everything I can.

The thing about the "free wins" is that it's very cut and dry the situations you can simply just "leave to the sim gods" because depending on the match up ( especially when we ALL have A+ schedules and Ax does a great job of scheduling us against good CPU teams) it could be a disaster. Simming a rivalry game as the team your filling in for still gives the advantage to the CPU team - EA's dumb way of making rivalry games competitive. Also - the simming leaves that team suseptible to key injuries to their starting lineup (which could REALLY hurt for some newer coaches) and could hurt your recruiting. There's so much more than just a loss as a sim, which is tough for people like Jesse, Ax, Buc or Cokan to understand - guys who can bang out games faster than the best of em.

I also don't think that the same person (usually Ax) that advances should have to do them ALL. I will step in if online and around for an advance in the future, but really I thought we were all cool with the idea that user games determine your season. I thought everyone was cool with the idea of nobody really having more than a 2 loss season because that means more user match-ups for Bowl Games. I dunno, this has always been a democratic decision making environment so whatever you guys decide is cool with me.
