Mizzou season gets underway for real travling to hostile seattle to face washington!

Eldridge Prevails!

In what looked to be a rattled sophmore QB Marcus Eldridge at the Horseshoe today turned out to be the player of the game after a brilliant game winning drive with a little over a minute in the fourth quarter.

The Panthers trailed the entire game until Eldridge's fourth quarter strike to Darren Thomas a first year junior receiver from Florida. Thomas had about 50 yards after the catch but the touchdown came at a crucial time for Pittsburgh with no timeouts and little hope in a hostile environment. The Panthers clawed back from a 17-0 deficit at one point, final score 27-23.

31- 30 Mizzou wins a very ugly game for the tigers.. this was one of those games ea wanted me to lose.. i couldnt tackle.. i couldnt cover.. i couldnt do shit on offense.. his team dominated my team for 2 and a half quarters.. i had fubmels.. i had a saftey.. Crazy game.. im too shook up to write up ne thing right now.. but i will in the am.. great game chris.. i got lucky..

*sigh* next week i have to play south carolina on the road.. what was i thinking with this schedule.. no break.. the emotions spent in this game.. i dont see how my guys can pull it together to play south carolina again next week..hell i dont think i can do it.. im exhausted from this game with Washington.. chris has perhaps the best defense i have ever played.. he blitz from every where from every angle.. he shut my run offense completely down.. i didnt even try to use graham he was eating the option alive early.. ok im gonna try to sleep some even tho i had to wake all the way up for this one..

Great game Axe...hella of a comeback...it's funny you say EA wanted me to win...when I felt the opposite LOL (AT Washington TO MIZZ 1 UW 3) ouch in Seattle for God Shake...Heading late into the 3rd UW is up 30-14 but UW can not stop the Mizz spread O with 4 and 5 WR set..I was picked apart as MIZZ scored two TD at 3:01 in the 3rd and 4:04 of the 4th to cut UW lead to 30-28....UW has a nice drive going and about the 30 Z McCulley fumbles to give MIZZ hope...they drive down and kick FG with 1:37 on the clock to take 31-30 lead....UW drives down with no TO and is in good position to set up FG to win...MIZZ call TO...not sure what happen "tequila?" but the wrong play is called and I get sacked...I'm an IDIOT....next play is stuffed game over...Still can't believe I lost that game....got beat fair and square...good job K...

I understand ya...that was pretty emotional...

I'm still in shock to how I lost that game...some stat to chew on...

well if you really want that kid from my backyard...you need to beat Boondock. Cuz i was up like 200 on him and now hes ahead 80. Been spending nothing but 60's on the kid. Although i don't know how he's scheduled to come visit both me and you in week 7. That doesnt make sense!
