| Good Morning Q4tB....Arizona and Washington will kickoff around 8 central tonight, Primetime on ABC.
A win by the Wildcats can almost close out the Pac-10 Championship, a loss and the race is wide open, and would fall upon a future matchup of Oregon and Washington.

| Mizzou has Texas Tech come into Faruot Field for a visit.. so the defense asked them if the needed help with ne thing and they answered no just Looking!!! 22 rushes for -21 yards 18-37 for 212 and 1 td passing for the Red Raiders.. The were dominated the whole game.. Defense forced 3 turnovers.. 2 coming by way of int from soph cb Tony Rooney who has been good for the tigers all season.."When we lost both our starting corners last year we knew we had one who could ball for sure.. in dawson but i didnt expect rooney to become soo dominant in the offseason.. he went and worked out with daryl revis all summer and came back with rooney island.. he has been amazing out there this year.. defiant break thru performance.." Said coach santana on his stand out corner.. The offense was smooth and Williamson carved up the secondary early in the first half.. connecting for big yards to wide out Brandon Evans. This game was over by half. Rudy Graham returned to form as he ran for over 100 and a td... Iowa State comes over for a visit next week.. and traditionally this is a game where you see major yards on the ground.. look out for all 3 backs to have over a 100 against a lesser iowa state defense.. | |

Interesting you bring this up K....and a bit of a history lesson for some of you....as the Ducks prepare for the Huskies this SAT....part of the History to why the rivalry is so intense and I would say there is more passion between Ducks and Dawgs then possible that of the Civil War between Ducks and Beavers...for most of my life time the Huskies used to come into Eugene as absolutely abuse the Ducks in the 70's and 80's.... Anyway back to what fuels some of this fire and in regards to who goes to the Rose Bowl in the event of a tie (*this is no longer the way it's decided, but thought you guys may enjoy this piece of history) 1948: The Rose Bowl vote
With the bitter feelings between the Huskies and Ducks temporarily put on hold -- between 1918 and 1947 -- the feud erupted again in 1948, the putative date of the rivalry's beginning, when California and Oregon tied for the Pacific Coast Conference crown.
To determine the Rose Bowl representative, a vote of the conference schools was taken to break the tie. It was assumed that the four California schools would vote for California and that the six northwest schools would vote for Oregon. Washington voted for California and encouraged Montana to go along with its vote. California went to the 1949 Rose Bowl, only to lose to Northwestern 20-14. Norm Van Brocklin, one of the greatest quarterbacks and coaches in NFL history, quarterbacked the Ducks in 1948, and Oregon fans, the older ones, feel it's a darned shame he never got to play in the Rose Bowl.
The war escalated on the football field when Oregon beat Washington 63-6 in 1951 and Washington beat Oregon 49-0 a year later. Here is a couple more tidbits of the rivalry 1962: Larry Hill incident. Washington fans, who rush onto the field, tackle Oregon's Larry Hill who is attempting to catch a pass in the end zone to win the game. [Smith].
1973 and 1974: Piling it on. Oregon beats Washington 58-0 in 1973 and Washington beats Oregon 66-0 a year later. Not only are the 66 points a modern school record, but the swing of 124 total points is believed to be the largest in consecutive games of a series by any team.Possible the best Athlete to come out of Oregon 1968: Recruiting war. Bobby Moore (Ahmad Rashād), out of Tacoma, enrolls at Oregon, as the story goes, because a relative of his (Donny Moore, 1965, ‘66) was dismissed from Jim Owens' football team. This further inflames the rivalry. According to Oregon’s official website, the Seattle Times ranks Bobby Moore as Washington State’s fourth greatest running back of all time. Ironically, the Seattle Times ranks Oregon’s Jonathan Stewart, out of Lacey, as the state’s fifth greatest running back of all time. Stewart, who enrolled at Oregon in 2005, could have been soured on UW, in part, by the clouding miasma of the NCAA investigation of 2003, which eventually cost the NCAA $2.5 million in a lawsuit settlement it made with former UW coach Rick Neuheisel. UW fans wonder if the snitch, who anonymously refers to himself as Peter Wright and who emailed the NCAA about Neuheisel’s auction activities, is an Oregon fan.And finally, the play that changed history for Oregon Duck Football, and Phil Knight soon becomes a player that begins the start of the face lift for Duck Football 1994: Kenny Wheaton touchdown. Dan Raley of the Seattle Post-Intelligencer writes, "Emotions boiled over and competitive lines blurred in '94, spiking the rivalry. That season, redshirt freshman Kenny Wheaton's last-minute 97-yard interception return for a score off UW quarterback Damon Huard secured a 31-20 victory at home and propelled the Ducks to their first Rose Bowl in 37 seasons. "The combined quacking and woofing -- or was that bleating and whimpering -- had never been louder. Wheaton's play was immortalized on Autzen's big screen and in an oversized photo hanging in the lobby of the Wild Duck Restaurant. Huskies had to live with it."Here is the video.... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sbs00B7fqJU&feature=relatedstill gives me chills, and rememberer that day in Autzun....Huskies are lead by Heisman Holfully Napoleon Kaufaman...and look to be marching down the field to score the go ahead TD to break the Ducks heart once again...watch the video, UW QB Damon Hurad gives up and doesn't even try to tackle Kenny Wheaton....and you don't see it in the video but LB Rich Ruhl is in Hurad faces screaming, representing most every Ducks years of frustration....

| I believe now the team that goes to the Rose Bowl/in the event of Co-Pac 10 Championship is the team with the higher overall W-L...if they are same OOC then it's the team last to go to the Rose Bowl.... | |

I looked around the league and i found a few teams i liked. Iowa, Michigan, Southern Miss. I really like my chances with Michigan. But let me know if you guys dont mind me switching teams in the middle of the season. Im bout to head to work but i will be on the forum today while im there so let me know what yall think.

| ok guys i know i have been indecisive lately... and the more i have been thinking abou it, i really dont deserve the notre dame job lol...
so what im thinking is... to make thigns even and fair as far as a coachign change goes... what if we just say i took a leave of absence this season(hypothetically speaking) from the coachign ranks... then the coaching change committe... bucc, gruden, ax, macc, whoever.... picks a few schools that would offer me a job based on what I accomplished at MTSU, and then i pick from that list... i can go after the season or whenever yall choose... and i will still play macc with notre dame this season to keep user games up
btw, if ggang leaves the sec, i sure wouldnt mind filling a spot in the sec west opposite of mydas... and maybe evening out the recruiting down south with ga tech... lol
