2016 Week 4 Discussion

Following the week 3 ESPN Game of the Week where #3 Pitt hosted #1 South Carolina, we have a new #1 heading into week four. The Panthers defence lead them into the week four bye week with a convincing 40-14 victory over the Gamecocks. A loud, noisy, hostile environment in Heinz Field sparked the Panthers who looked to be unstoppable at times.

QB Marcus Eldridge was very efficient, about 14-18 for 250 yards 2TDs. RB Jacob Lee had a hard nosed, 25 carry 80 yard day with 2 touchdowns rushing 1 receiving. TE Ken Williams has proven to be a playmaker when his team needs him most, Williams converted several first downs to keep the ball in the Panthers possession, who dominated the turnover battle and TOP.

The defence forced four interceptions and one fumble, that SCAR recovered. A young, inspired group has their signature win and just when experts thought the Panthers would plateau their stellar defence the past few seasons with the loss of 9 starters, it appears as if they're as dynamic as they've ever been. Nobody had more than three solo tackles on the day, a very good team effort gang tackling the massive powerful backs South Carolina brings.

"Let's just hope this win carries some momentum over into the trip to USF, and that if we can wobble out of there with a win... hopefully this marquee match-up will be enough to ensure those experts don't snub us in the polls against this year," Macc said.

This week was the first major test for the Tigers as the faced a talented Michigan team at home.. That would possibly be the difference as the game started out very close.. Mizzou was forced to punt on the first drive and Michigan ran the ball gaining yard by yard and first down after first down but eventually the tigers would get a stop.. On the next drive the tigers would move the ball efficiently but would have to settle for a fg after the Michigan D shut the tigers down.. Michigan again would show the tigers a heavy dose of run before mixing it up a bit and getting close but then the Mizzou d would force the third down and the fg to tie at 3 each..On the next drive Mizzou would play a lil differently showing different looks and hb rudy graham would get it going breakin off a big run that would lead to a 44 yard strike after the Michigan d got a lil over aggressive..10-3 Mizz.. The defense would then force the Wolverines off the field and give thier offense back the ball with momentum and confidence..After a huge pass to castillio that would have put the Tigers in scoring range after making the catch he would get hit hard and fumble the rock giving life to the Wolverines... Michigan would get the ball at half and throw thier one of thier 2 ints in the game that would result in a mizz td run on a lil zone read by Williamson and the rest was history as they say.. Michigan would feel the pressure and be forced to throw after being down 17-3. The defense played tough and forced another punt.. Mizzou would drive but would lose star hb graham for 2 weeks with a strained shoulder.. back tru freshman King would also go down.. forcing the tigers to throw and michigan would shut it down forcing a 51 yard fg.. making it 20-3 Michigan wouldnt lay down tho picking apart the mizz secondary on a td drive.. Williamson would respond with a td of his own that would put this game out of reach..27-10 Mizzou.. " That was a hard fought battle today.. Michigan played a very conservative game.. u cant be a high scoring offense when ur not on the field.. we had one fumble and punted 1 time other than that we got points on every drive.. thats what u need in games like this where every possession counts.. POINTS..Coach GGang has a good squad out there and they will be a force soon.. hats off to them..Def feels good to get another win and keep our 41 game win streak alive.." Coach Santana..


Good game ggang it really was a close even game he kept the ball away from me and it kept him in the game and his defense played tough.. looks like i stand in the way of grey and the natty champ as he has won 2 user games already and im the only one left.. that game should be a barn burner!!! Im already amped for it!!

o and i had to win this game as i had plenty of recruits visiting def took a chance with that but a big win against a top 25 school that should get some ppl to sign!!! great frickin week

nice game ax...and yes Mizz @ Oregon should be one for the ages...Hopefully ill be able to keep up. And im hoping for a number of injuries to your team so we can even the playing field lol

6 games left before the advance...hopefully Boondock and Gruden can get together today...i know 9s would like an advance tonight so he can get his game in before he has to travel tomorrow.

btw guys i will be out of commission traveling to DC to interview Far East Movement...but will be coming back first thing Friday morning. So hopefully we can get a late night advance on Wednesday as well so i can bang my game out

if u go by the box score u beat Michigan more convincingly than i did... so that would mean u should beat me.. plus im coming to the zoo.. idk if i make it out of there alive.. but imma give it my best shot...

the user game should be the last one.. lots of byes this week.. so we should get to 5 by tonight for sure..

lol only reason i won was bc Ggang threw 5 Ints into coverage. Without those Turnovers he was winning and i expect you to have an air it out day with your QB...ill have to play some smart football if i want to go toe to toe with the back to back national champs

lol ya i actually just took a look at the box score and he was up and really the pick 6 gave u the advantage and the last td closed him out.. doesnt matter tho means nothing.. i have to get a road win.. those are never easy... week 11 is when it goes down.. so thats still some time away.. but that should be a helluva game..damn i kinda wanna play again.. even tho its a slouch in colorado.. wanna get rudy back.. when he went down it messed everything up... the game loves to hurt key players in user games..

this season is already more fun.. ppl have shit to play for.. no more team hoping.. i personally dont think ne one runs the table... i think a one loss team gets in.. much more fun when u have balanced conferences.. because everyone pretty much has to lose..and its gonna be better to lose early... and bounce back..

Me and the boys will be heavy Oregon fans for the next little bit, hoping they can slay the Mizzou monster.

lol check out the two defensive ends that are sitting on the bench this year. One has like 90 speed 90 accell... he will be a monstter. Straight DE's too no bueno cheesy position changes. Can you say, speed rush?

well i don't freestyle much...theres a long story behind me and jin. i knew him before he went on 106 and park. anyway he released a diss record at me, i responded, then i was performing at jacob javits center and heard he was coming through...so i decided to do the diss record and point him out in the crowd. Then we battled...Shit got a big personal...Security pulled guns on me and my team and escorted us out lol but that was alooooong time ago 2002 i think something like that. we peaced shit out

and Ax...Macc was talking about his De's and loaning them to me for the MIzz Oregon game lol

Ax your DE's are defenitely Mr. Beastly's.... but I woouldn't trade them for the DE's I got starting now, or the DE's of my future. Those kids r gonna ball man. Mike McFarland runs a 4.40 consistently, and whiteboy Matt Lyles from Compton is certainly up there as well.

But ya, I'm defenitely pullin for Oregon to take Mizzou out! I didn't realize I got A&M this year. The chances of me beating both are slim to none so I'm going to get to the drawing board to make sure the boys r ready!!
