2010 Week 11 Discussion NEW

When my psn was commish before we adv to W12 to find you and goat caught a sim loss I had lost to Arkansas. When we made the new name to commish the file that was saved to offline it didn't load the ark game so I had to replay. Everyone else will have a new chance at diferet results, why shouldn't I? People are usng restarts to get a favourable outcome I won my game this time. Am I the only one who sees the double standard? Had I lost this time too that's the result that wouldve been loaded.

he played the game against the computer and lost the 1st time....weither it was saved or not...is not the issue....I read it with my own eyes

i dont care about keeping the old results......but if you lost originally or won originally.....the initial result should be replicated

Okay so I should throw the results out and sim until I lost? Is that what you're saying?

come on mate, if it where me or zscot or jesseor anyone else that took a loss first time then we won the second we would be having the same discussion. this is the way we have always done it which was championed by you. i mean wha about when bucc and k played and the result was changed they didn't play again and give bucc the chance to win again, k played the cpu to get the win like he did the first time.

How does that have anything to do with this situation? WHAT SHOULD I HAVE DONE HOW MANY TIMES DO I HAVE TO ASK THIS! ILL GO THROW THE FUCKIN RESULTS OUT IF PEOPLE ARE GOING TO WHINE ABOUT A WIN OVER A 3-4 TEAM THAT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH ANYONE ELSE AND SIM UNTIL I LOSE!

if you lost originally...yes....that would seem to be the fair way to go about it....just keep it the way it is though ....you know in your heart that you really lost it....like I said if you do win the Championship...an asterisk will be needed...just think how you would feel if Clev or any one of us was #1...and lost to the computer....then something messed up...and we had to redo the week...and we won the second time...wouldnt it seem a little less than fair?

I'd be more than happy for clevmire. It's not his fault others results didn't load. If he had the opportunity to get that win, especially against a rival opponent - I'd be more than happy for him. Since when have I ever shown I would've acted otherwise?

How was my first loss "OFFICIAL" by the way? None of the results from that are going to be used so why should mine?

No I'm saying I'm not putting a cap on "Jon Katz only being able to throw 300 yards" because the last week thats been thrown out the window and doesn't count anymore - is going to be what we're basing this entire week off of. My score would be the only one to reflect last weeks yet I've ALLOWED all of you guys restarts???

not saying your lying or cheating...the situation is what it is...we all had to play our games over...but it is a bit unethical to get a win...when you originally lost the first time around....we would be bringing this up if anyone in this OD lost their first game then won their repeat...its nothing against you Macc

No we wouldn't because it wouldn't be THEIR fault that others caught a sim loss.

I think the ONLY reason this is happening is because I've worked my team up to the #1 position.

not talking about stats....but if i had lost to the cpu arizona state the first time....and then i win the replay.....i hope all of you would say something to me as well....it isnt personal...it just happens that you lost..then won your replay...and you are #1....it affects us all

i'm not talking about a sim loss...i'm talking about really playing the cpu and losing

I wouldn't be forcing you to sim until a loss. That's bullshit I'd never expect any of you to do that. In the situation with K and Bucc there was no real fair way to handle that and I assume there isn't when these sim loss issues arise. I wasn't the one who forced anything, in fact I would've pushed for a rematch IF Bucc had not thought of the fairest way to handle it, since he lost letting K play the CPU. I played a rival opponent who brought it the ENTIRE game and deserved to win the game yes maybe the SECOND time around. The first time, the entire reason I lost is because EA is bull shit and they used their cheap glitchy ways to win to force an OT and NOT allow me to do a single thing. So coming back and winning this one through EA trying to fuck me over makes me feel like I deserve it.

no Macc....this isnt sour grapes...this isnt whining...this is calling a spade a spade....did you, or did you not lose to the cpu the first time? this is our bone of contention....if it was someone else, I would be voicing my opinion as well...

That's in the PAST. Nobody elses results will be recorded from that week. That is why I'm putting my foot down.

like I said for the 100th time...keep it how it is.....but i have the right to voice my opinion on the matter...and i think its bunk...I took 2 cpu losses last season...it was the same ea bullshit...you cant do anything the cpu is roboQB god.....I took my medicine...at the end of the day...its a game brother....if thats how you really wanna win and or play....god bless you....just know....I disagree....doesnt make me dislike you or anything negative...just makes me think twice when i see you have restarted multiple times in the future....I'm not gonna say anything further on the matter....my opinion has been expressed

Look if everyone here or even the majority want me to remove my REAL results and simulate until I lose so everyone else can move up, I'll be forced to have no other choice. So if you care about it THAT much go ahead and start a poll I'll do w/e you guys decide.

listen mate, it has nothing to do with wherre you are ranked. whether you win out or have one loss it doesn't affect me or cincinnati at all. i just think it is setting a bad precedent.
seriously dude, id rather see you win the ship than most of the other dudes here. i mean if i have to look at that god damn iowa logo for another two weeks or so im gonna lose it. but fair is fair.
