| We'll play it by ear. If the majority isn't on tonight we'll go through tommorow. Thursday HAS been in the plan so there's no excuses or reason we won't do it all Thursday night. If there's like 8-10 guys online tonight... then we'll defenitely get it in. | |

| Yo have you guys taken a look at the Game Preview screen for Stanford vs Iowa? WOW I know Stanford got them early this year but talk about a great offence (Iowa) taking on a great defence (Stanford). I don't think I can call this one, it'll be a solid game! | |

| Couple things came up today, I'll have net access but won't be around my PS3 most likely... I'll check it when I get home tonight but if Buc/Ax are around to advance after the NC plz do so everyone can get their Players Leaving in. Leave it at that stage until further notice... as of right now tommorow nights prolly better. | |

| holy shit hardest fought game ive played, and best defensive game ive ever played freshman mlb hopkins and freshman rb wegher deserve co mvp. Offensive game plan: After the first game of the year of getting my ass kicked i remembered every key play stanford executed against the hawkeyes that led to their destruction. As the stats have shown stanford's own freshman rb has proved that he is capable of a future heisman contender rushing 75 yards on 9 attempts, however, my main goal was to stop impact player C. Owusu as his quick stop routes were near impossible to cover. This gameplan worked out well until the defense keyed on him to hard, while K. Gordon caught 2 passes for an average of 27.5 yards per catch.
Game summary: Stanford won the toss electing to defer the the second half. Iowa decided to keep the ball on the ground to avoid early turnovers, however, the plan backfired on the second play when freshman rb wegher was stripped close to iowa's own endzone. Iowas defense knew they needed a stop in order to stop a quick 6, stanford was 3 and out and got an early 3 on the board with 4:31 left in the first quarter. After returning the quick Wegher got his head in the game and was bitched out for not holding on to the ball in a crucial game. After the pep talk he drove the ball down the field to put iowa in fg position. Strong Defenses stalled both teams offenses as the half ran down at a tie 3-3. Stanford received the ball in the second half and began to get their offense going driving the ball straight down the field, but iowas defense forced an interception. Iowa once again relied on the run game driving the ball down the field and giving off a fb dive from the 1 yard line to make the score 10-3. Stanford immediately reacted passing down the field for a quick touchdown to D. Baldwin. The rest of the quarter was drained by the hawkeyes with their once again impressive running game as they got the ball in field goal range due to a critical 4th and inches call on the 50 yard line. Murray drilled a 40 yard field goal to put the hawkeyes up by 3 with 2:31 left in the 4th. Stanford's offense got right to work with a big 20 yard reception on 3rd and long to put them close to midfield, however, the hawkeye defense once again forced an interception on another 3rd and long to seal the game. The Senior Qb Ricky Stanzi took 3 Knees and ended the game for his 2nd consecutive National Championship Victory.

Congrats Iowa...your D was steller...great adjustments to what I was trying to get done...you were all over my TE C Fleener..and your RB was a beast...probalbe should have run Eschelman more....but great game!
