2012 Week 10 Discussion

No write up I'm gassed lol.

I played the better part of the 2nd quarter against Jesse. It was just too laggy for me to continue. He was up like 24-8 when I'd left I think.

not to be a dick macc, but it was 31-8 ...the #3 Oregon State Beavers defeated the Cardinal of Stanford today, 34-15. The star of the game was wideout Markus Wheaton, who broke 3 deep touchdown catch and runs.

TCU Rolls over Texas Tech 37-7

Balanced offensive attack, as Timmons goes scoreless for the first time this year. Timmons and Wesley combine for 130 yards, Wesley puts in 2TD's. QB Gallegos throws 2TD's, and the defense pitches in a pick 6.

The fighting Illini Defense was the factor of the whole game. The front 4 were able to keep pressure on Freshman QB Marvin Mitchell forcing him to throw 9 Ints. MLB Mike Smith took 3 of them. Freshman QB Mike Graves went 11 for 27 for only 113 yards. 2 TD and 2 INTS. "He stayed out there and battled with their Defense and got everything he could get to make it work" Said coach Kelly. The Hawkeyes Defense played very well. They rattled freshman QB Mike Graves all night. If Mitchell didnt throw 9 INTs it would have been a different game.

If The Illini Win out the season they will be Conference champs. Easier said than done. The Illini are still without Starting QB Nathan Scheelhaase And Starting RB Justin Green. For another 2 weeks at least "Graves is hanging in there and putting in alot of hard work. He is the first person in the gym and the last one to leave. I cant knock a man who is determined to be the best Said WR Jamie Ivey

all there is to recap on our game is that the ball had a magnet on it and your mlb had magnets in his hand im gonna go ahead and say ea fucked me on this one and ive never been one to say that. my qb ended up with 10 int's 6 after the first half any momentum i had driving down the field would be taken away from my qb getting hit as he was throwing the ball would go straight up in the air and land in his lb's hands everytime. could have won the game with throwing 8 int's i say my game isnt 2 bad, but come on 10int's thats not sim at all i think that it had something to do with the new sliders ive never even thrown 5 int's in a game

sliders dont effect user games......ggang has a sick d....i can vouche

i dont know about that one if you mess with the user sliders at all im pretty positive they effect user games

i have been under the impression that the human sliders affect how the human plays against the cpu....and how it reacts to the human

idk all i know is my qb hasnt thrown the ball 90 yards down the field before or thrown the ball straight up in the air if a defender is in his face 20 times in a game... maybe its ggang's d idk all i know is something was fucked cause i threw 10 int's

i don't thnik slider make a diff in user games...question, if a player starts to struggle does momentum go against him?....exampl, after the 4 INT does any of his ratings get affected in that game? and on the other side say your WR get's hot, does he become more affective?

thats a good question...from what i have seen...once you get the mo' and run with it and keep chooogling....its hard to get it back.and when it rains it pours.....quick question cocaine.....did you continue to go back to the same passing plays over and over after you were down a couple?

Ok im happy i got back online i would have missed this discussion. It did seem as if something was up. I have never been able to catch no more than 3 INTS in a game. But 9 is way overboard. But at times i knew drop my MLB's to a middle zone because u threw alot of ball across the middle. They got me like that also. Both of my INTS were off of me getting hit while i threw the ball. O yeah thanks 9's for the compliment on my Defense

did coke stick with the same QB the whole game?...if not, wonder if replacing him would have helped slow down, if there is such a thing, the momentum?....I know in my CPU/USER game this week with Florida, I had no trouble stopping there O the first half, then they got some points, and it was like a totally different team, couldn't stop them at all...as much as I hate taking a loss, i like the new sliders....I should struggle every time I play Florida in the swamp...when they are A+ across the board...doesn't seem like the rest of you are having anymore problem shredding teams, I must sux!

yeah he kept the same QB out there. And dont worry bro i think the new sliders are a good challenge. I have trouble getting away from the D line now. Like the Dline can catch a RB with a 93 speed from behind. that bugs me but it makes it harder also

tell me about it...my running stats were 17 carries for -19 yards...my 98 RB with 98 speed was getting abused my the Florida D front...need to figure out a way to run better vs good D

Maryland improved to 9-0 with a 10-3 hard fought victory over Georgia Tech. Both teams managed only 122 yards of offense in the downpour of rain and cold conditions.

The Terrapins were led by Caleb Porzel once again who had 30 carries for 116 yards and 1 touchdown. "Caleb was our work horse today, we were going as far as he was gonna take us this afternoon, and thankfully he took us into the endzone one time." those were Coach Hickerson's words on Caleb's performance. Caleb himself speaks here, "I knew going into it I was gonna get the ball, so did G-Tech, thats why they got 8 guys in the box every play out there. In a rainy game like this speed guys like me are at a disadvantage cuz we cant use our quicks and stuff you know? So today I think I read my blocks well and waited for them to develop, thats what I had to do out there to get anything done." It was sloppy but Porzel is right, he got it done and posted another victory for Maryland.

Defensively the Terps played amazing Led by Carl Russell with 9 tackles, 2 for a loss, 2 sacks. Freshman Jared Golden chipped in with 7 tackles followed by a slew of guys with 4 and 5 tackles.

This sets up the battle of the giants next week, UNC and Maryland, ranked 2 and 4 respectively in the BCS. Barring a loss by UNC this week both will be unbeaten and both will have national title hopes hanging in the balance. Also barring an upset of Maryland by NC State the week after this, we will see these two teams play again at the end of the season. UNC defeated Maryland in the ACC championship last season by about 20.(?Cant remember score lol) It should be a fun game in Chapel Hill this coming up week and a very intense battle. See you there!

i enjoy it....I have improved so much since playing with you guys...and if cpu games are tough too....even better

77-10 Kansas destroys Colorado and everyone got in on the fun 2 recivers with over 100 yards 2 runningback with over 100 yards.. Bishop harassed them all day 6 sacks and a int for a td.. it was ugly i threw maybe 10 passes after half.. Charles who got heisman mention this week and i had no idea he was playing that good i dont use him to do ne thing other than give mac truck a break and like i said he makes some throws that even i go wow.. he is a tru scrambling qb his accuracy is best on the run i kno it sounds scewy but this kid can drop it on a dime while on the run in fact those are his best passes.. with 4 weeks left in the season we are gearing up for the big game. the one for all the marbles against TCU the defending national champs...

User games are played on Heisman default settings. You cannot have sliders influence play in user games I'm certain of this. The 9 interceptions are probably due in LARGE part to you leaving your QB in I know they will just continue to pile up if he's "in the blue". You can check by holding R2 and down on the right analog but I'm sure you know this. The sliders don't have anything to do with user games and it's the same game it was before they'd been changed. Sorry you took a beaten, Scott me and Gang have had some classy games. His D is tough and always in your face I had trouble when he would pressure me as well. Going to play my Florida game now!

hey macc do you check the blue in the game or do you pause and go somewhere else "depth chart?" to see this? good info to have....curious to how your game with florida goes since the just beat my ass...i will play when i get off work.
