| Week Four is up!!
UGA signs five star multi-sport athlete WR Ryan Odom, the junior college transfer made a name for himself on the hardwood and as Lamar Odom's nephew. The 6'2 168 pound wide-receiving prospect also plays point guard and will jumpstart a lacsidasical Bulldog basketball team as well. Odom's terrific footwork with the ball in his hands make him a sure-fire kick and punt return man the minute he steps on campus as he's been wowing people all over the state of Michigan this year.
"I'm your do it all receiver. I can run, catch, make guys miss, paint the fence and walk the dog. I'm your man," he's told coaches all year. Odom jumpstarts a young talented receiving corps and his paper work to determine his eligibility is still in the works.

| RIVAL WEEK IS UP FOR FLORIDA STATE HOSTING MIAMI Wow, what a game, as Florida State Host Miami with over 8 recruits on hand to take in this classic...both teams battle all day long and the game is not decided till the final seconds...both teams hammer each other in the first qt, and you could see early this was going to be a defensive battle....end of the 1st qt is 0-0....after a pick by S T Williams which leads to the only points of the 1st half as K K Jones boots a 22 yard fg, and we head to half 3-0 Florida StateThe 2nd half is not much different, as both teams dominate, but Miami is able to put a nice drive together behind the legs of A Taylor who ends the drive with a nice 18 yd TD run to put Miami up 7-3, and the way the Florida State offence was playing looked to be enought as we head to the 4th 7-3 Miami...4th QTFlorida State offence is unable to get anything going and looks to be in deep trouble with under two minutes on the clock, whe that all changes as Coach Harbaugh pull the reigns off FR QB Covasi Parrish..."Look he is young, and we don't want to put him in tough position, we are going to rely on our D, and take our shots".....well that shot was a 67 yard pass to star WR William Wallace to tie the score at 10-10...
HIGHLITE OF THE PLAY
With around 1:30 left in the game the FSU D comes up big and forces a punt....With the score at 10-10, Coach Harbaugh is faced with a tough decision, do we play for OT, or give it a shot...Parrish hooks up with TE E Wright to get the ball out to mid field...then a nice run by back up HB T Rucker, filling in for injuried starting HB K Brewster who went down in the 2nd qt, and gets the ball close to a long FG...as the O races to the line, Coach Harbaugh calls his last TO as he realize no way to get off another play...in comes JR Kicker K Jones to attemp the 50 yard FG...here is what happen...see for youself....
PLAY OF THE GAME
Coach Harbaugh had this to say...."NO WIDE LEFT BITCH ON THIS DAY!"....when asked about North Carolina next week....Coach Harbaugh, "OH SHIT!".....
Final Stats C Parrish 8-15 146 1 TD 0 INT T Rucker 19-56 K Brewster 8-30 W Walllace 3-95 1 TD B Douglas 10 Solo

| The #5 Oregon State Beavers Destroy the Arizona Wilcats today in the desert, 77-14. The Beavers were down 14-0 early, but they stormed back to put up 77 unanswered points! Jamar Lane was unbelievable today running for 184yds and 4touchdowns. Junior QB Ryan Gates completed 59% of his passes and tossed two TD's with no Ints. The Beaver D forced 5 turnovers and had 6 total sacks...after they spotted the wildcats 14 it was on from there for Scottie Gates and the Beavers D. The Starters were pulled at the 2 minute mark of the 3rd quarter, which saw the emergence of True Freshman Runningback Jeremy Irvin, who galloped for 99 yards and two touchdowns, his last coming on a 44 yard scamper. Irvin said after the game that he almost fell, as to not run up the score, but he didnt know if he would ever have another chance, since the Beavers running back depth is so deep..."So I went for it...today was my bowl game"....see you in a few years youngster!! Offensive Standouts QB R Gates 13-22 209yds 2TDs QB G Harvey 6-8 75yds 1TD POTG J Lane 17att 184yds 4TDs 1rec 13yds HB J Irvin 15att 99yds 2TDs TE J Lawrence 4rec 44yds WR J Gilbert 4rec 65yds 2TDs TE M Outlaw 4rec 50yds 1TD FB M Murphy 2rec 66yds Defensive Standouts LB S Gates 11Tkls 7TFL 4Sacks 1FF FS C Iverson 7Tkls 1Int LB M Muse 4Tkls 1TFL 1FR 23yds 1TD DT J Arnold 4Tkls 1TFL 1Sack DE J Miranda 3Tkls 1TFL CB D Berry 3Tkls 1Int 45yds 1TD 1DEFL SS S Johnson 3Tkls 1Int 2DEFL LB T Jones 2Tkls 1TFL 1Sack CB B Fleming 1Int 1DEFL Next week for the #5 Beavs(4-0)(1-0), another road trip, this time to Sunny California, to take on the UCLA Bruins, in another exciting PAC-10 Matchup! | |

| Terps survive scare
Winston Salem, NC - The number 13 Maryland Terrapins survived and hung on to beat previously unbeaten Wake Forrest 35-20. The game was not put away until with 2 minutes left in the fourth quarter Mitchell "Tim Tebow 2.0" Hopkins took off on a 96 yard option keeper to seal the deal. "We played kinda flat the whole game, we were lucky to get out of here with a W," said Hopkins, "On that last run, I just saw a hole and hit it, no need for me to pitch it I though, and I cant believe I didnt get caught from behind," Hopkins continued with a big grin. The game was tied after 1 quarter of play, and tied after 2 quarters of play but the Terps opened up a 28-20 lead after three quarters on a Jared Golden interception return. Then came the run in the fourth quarter by Hopkins to seal the deal.
Offensively the Terps were led by Hopkins who went 18 for 23 for 130 yards and a touchdown, no interceptions now for 2 weeks in a row. "Mitchell really made some great throws today, he squeezed it in to some tight windows on a number of occasions," said Terps coach Jeff Hickerson. Hopkins also carried the ball 10 times for 135 yards, and 1 touchdown. Jason Bennett missed his fourth straight 100 hundred yard rushing game by 8 yards as he ended with 92, but he did add 2 more touchdowns to his season total. Senior wide out Cory Schroeder continued his consistent play, catching 5 passes for 53 yards and a touchdown on a great throw by Hopkins. "Man i was falling down into the endzone, in between two guys, and just happened to have my hands stuck out and the ball hit 'em," said Schroeder, "that was one of the best throws ive ever been on the receiving end of."
Defensively star junior inside linebacker Jared Golden led the way again with 10 tackles, 1 for a loss, and a sack, and one interception return for a touchdown. Perry Hall and Antoine Little also had interceptions on the day. Also worth noting, sophomore punter, who was actually recruited as a kicker, had 6 punts on the day, 5 were downed inside the 20, and 4 were downed inside the 10.
Next week The Terps will host conference rival Virginia as well as quite a few recruits for the weekend. Should be fun!
