| #3 Florida State vs Florida
1-0 Florida State heads to battle in "THE SWAMP", were an angry Gator Nation looks to rebound after a season opeaning loss...to much FSU, as they crush Florida at home 41-7, as Tommy Raines hooks up for over 450 yards and 4 TD...RS FR Kasen Williams is the real deal, going for a 120 yards and 1 TD, and fellow SO WR A Dawson also hauls in 159 yards and 2 TD

| The #5 Oregon State Beavers Ass-raped the Kansas Jayhawks today at Reser, 77-0. The Beavers D was back to its dominant selves, holding the Jayhawk Offense to a putrid 23 yards of total offense and only 3 first downs. MR. All-American All-Everything, Michael Muse again dominated, leading the Beavs in Tackles, TFL and Sacks. RS-SO QB Chris Richards came back from his early struggles(2 early Ints), to complete 66% of his passes for almost 400 yards and 5 TDs. Richards added another TD on the ground as well as 39 yards rushing. SR HB Calvin Watkins again got his usual 100 yards and two scores. Back-up HB RS-SO Antonio Witherspoon added 2 scores(including a 39 yard jaunt) and 68 yards on the ground. WR Reggie Rowe again dominated the airways, hauling in 12 receptions for 157 yards and a new Oregon State record for Receiving TDs in a game with 5 Scores. Coach 9's was overheard already discussing next weeks big matchup with top ranked Iowa. Offensive Standouts QB C Richards 24-36 388yds 5TDs 2Ints 9att 39yds 1TD HB C Watkins 22att 107 yds 2TDs HB A Witherspoon 9att 68yds 2TDs 1KR 22yds 7PR 55yds 7.8avg OPOTG WR R Rowe 12rec 157yds 5TDs TE M Outlaw 6rec 81yds WR R Henry 3rec 87yds WR D Davis 2rec 49yds Defensive Standouts DPOTG LB M Muse 10Tkls 8TFL 4Sacks 1FF FS P Jones 7Tkls CB D Rodgers 4Tkls 1Int 17yds 1TD DT B Fritz 3Tkls 2TFL LB K McNeil 3Tkls 1Int 1FR DT R Anderson 3Tkls 1TFL 1Sack Next up for the #5 Beavs(2-0), a huge user matchup with Coach Coke and the #1 Iowa Hawkeyes! | |

| Talked to macc, we are scheduled to play tonight around midnight eastern.
I just wanna throw this out there, and I am not attacking Jesse by any means, I know Muse is a beast.
My concern is this, we have raised an eyebrow when we see a guy, especially a Heisman contender have some inflated stats in a week. For instance, I remember ax calling out Cokan last year, when his QB threw for 600 yards, and 5 TD's or whatever it was.
In my opinion, 16 tackles, 8 Sacks is almost as inflated as those offensive stats. And I am seeing this type of production on a consistent basis. Cokan did not have another week like that...I understand every now and then a player will explode, but Muse's stats when he won the Heisman were IMO very unrealistic.
I guess what I am asking the Board, is do we think this a alright? Or should Muse tone it down a little?
Just asking by the way, I feel on this board we can bring up issues and talk about it, and we do a heck of a job making things smooth, if someone has a concern about the play in this OD. We have great communication and input, even GOAT's "one-liner's" LMAO
So what do you all think?

| dude...its defense...you want me to not stop anyone??? i could see if i was putting up huge numbers on O and running up the score..you create offense...defense is all reactions...read and react.....i'm not gonna tone my dude down....I control him...I do everything he has earned...it has been me....I cant help hes a beast....and i'm not gonna handicap myself....I already dont use DEs cuz its too easy...now you want me to use a secondary dude?... cuz my stud LB is dominating....come on bro....Dont hate on Muse....Congratulate | |

| this is a tough one bucc...i agree muse stats are out of whack, but to dumb down a defensive player to not get tackles/sacks seems kind of wierd...though i quess we ask players to do this with offensive players?...i think having a score like 77-0 is more of an issue?...but again it's a game, i'm all for guys having fun vs cpu and if this makes it fun for them, don't want to take that away from them?...i guess i'm switzerland on this one... | |

| Yea I can see both sides of the argument, I guess my point was we jumped on Cokan when he passed for 600 yards in a game, but no-one mentioned Muse's stats when he won the Heisman, he had like 48 sacks or something in one season, that is more than what people get in a career in college lol.
I don't care, just seemed it was overlooked.
Go on with your bad-self Jesse lol.. let the Muse go haha.

It's a tough one, and I have changed my opinion somewhat...used to be pretty strick in my opinion that is was lame to do this..I do recall Coke getting jumped on...and the 48 sacks in a season is wacked, but if that's what keeps players excited about the OD don't have a huge deal with it I guess...I don't mind the yards, stats as much as the 70+ point games really...but for me playing a 31-20 game vs CPU is more fun then a 70-0 game now days...I like to play the CPU the same way I play Humans, which I think helps to work on your skills, and prepare you for player vs player games...

| me and chris played to a 24-21 tight game....Muse had like 8 tackles against Florida State...but i dont Blitz him as much against users, cuz users can quick pass alot better....and when i Rush him...there are openings out on the field....so its like the 4th down thing.....its a risk/reward deal....just at the moment its been a hell of a lot more rewarding | |

| I agree Chris, playing the CPU can get repetitive, so when you play it more like a user game, yes the game will be closer than you would like..but it makes it more interesting. Working on certain plays, or concepts against the CPU is what I like to do.
Unless it's Michigan then I just want to smoke them haha

Unless it's Michigan then I just want to smoke them haha Lol, that's a great point too bucc, i like letting Corso call the play, which forces me to try new plays...sometimes i butcher, and the CPU hammers me...

| I dont care what happens about the whole Muse thing. But I remember the one time i got 8 sacks with Mike Sharp somebody accused me of using the DE loop glitch. (which at the time i didnt know nothing about it) but every since that i toned it down. Every time i got 3 sacks i would go and control my DT or my other DE. But yeah getting 5 or 6 sacks a game is way out there. Nobody does that in the NCAA. all i can say is keep it realistic. | |

| never told you not to do it...just let you know how easy it is....and most consider it a glitch.....a huge reason why I dont control DEs in the game | |
