Slider Adjustments for 2011 Season...?

I've been thinking I know clevmire and others displayed some interest in increasing the CPUs ability to run the ball. It is pretty unrealistic that 5 users have the top 5 rush defence in the country. What I'm thinking is a way to improve the ability for them to rush without having them all over us, ESPECIALLY in rival games where you guys know EA just dicks around.

What I'm thinking is turn the CPUs ability to pass down. Sometimes, I'll notice I've called a strong pass cover defence, be it dropping 9 guys in coverage or a strong, middle, short passing defence where the CPU just splits coverage, gets open and JUST over the sticks on third and long without the ability to even tackle him close to stopping them.

Keep in mind, the running ability is where it is because from what I've been told about these sliders - any increase in rushing offence for the CPU results in many, MANY kick and punt returns that users will have no ability to defend. Maybe... decreasing the User AI rush defence? I don't know. I guess we'll all have some time to mess with sliders and find a good fit. I'll take the file I've got offline today/tommorow and maybe simulate to play *hopefully* a different opponent than I'll be facing in my Bowl game...

While some games this year I wasn't sure if I'd win or really posed a challenge, it was mainly through the passing game that gave the CPU a chance. Although, my Florida game they DID rush well, it wasn't really well enough to pose a threat in that regard.

Open to suggestions from any and all...

its not so much a matter of the cpu not winning any games. but more the fact that in 12 games i know i have allowed less than 400 rushing yards and im not even ranked the best in rush d. i mean it is a joke i have had more cpu games in this od where the cpu has rush for negative yards than positive and i am not even the greatest run defender. and would it be the worst thing if the cpu ran back a couple of kickoffs on us? i think the cpu's kickoffs are crap as well.also i think you should not decrease the cpu pass at all. i will mess around a bit today and give you a more educated opinion later on.

I'm still trying to find anything productive about ur MSG clev lol

without messing with the sliders, my thoughts would be to increase run/pass blocking and running ablility for the CPU...not sure how much to bump it up, but at least 10 more then it is now?

Int 20/20
Rush d 20/100
Tackling 65/85

the cpu run game that high can affect kickoffs, but im usually good if i keep my players in their lanes... these give me tough games...

I've seen those sliders they're meant for AA level

Nd clev I miss the positivity you used to bring everythings a complaint now I'll pick on you until I see that clev again

cpu kicking also needs to be turned up. if the kisk is outside the 20, 80% of the time the cpu kicker will miss it and i have an average of 1 xp being missed by the cpu a game it is redonculous.

lol. oh man just the whole dion lewis and john dwyer thing and the sim losses have brought out the whinger in me. but i looks like we are on the road to sorting out all of the "very minor" things that are wrong with this dyn and once we get the sliders tweaked a bit i'll stop complaining.

I'd reccomend stopping the complaining soon....

I dunno, I think the CPU passes too easily when they WANT to. I would like to see them challenge me a bit more with the run. If there's going to be any changes made, those are the ones that stick out in my opinion. Maybe turning down HUMAN RUSH D/TACKLING will help the problem... but the tackling we couldn't too much because sometimes I just get beasted my MLB got thrown around by Florida's running back like he was a 140 pound corner.

o ok.. i use different slider sets off Operation Sports and mix and matched lol... but they play well to me on heisman too... Ive played alot of rivalry games with these..
