Bored...so here is a ?...what line of work do you all do?

I just recently graduated with a teaching degree grades 6-12.

I teach History, and am looking to coach baseball, football, or golf.

Currently, because of the timing of my graduation, I am subbing as much as I can. Doing 7/8th grade English right now.

What about you guys?

unemployed here and proud of it lol. Im a military Vet i did 4 years in the US Navy. Now im in college at a Broadcasting school

I dabbled in some sports broadcasting, and interned a little bit with a minor league baseball Play by Play announcer.

That's live. I'm still figuring where I'm going to school Im lookin at a couple schools in Michigan. No job right now the recession is rediculous in Windsor city.

I have actually been there before, on a baseball trip back in little league LOL. We drove in that underwater tunnel or something from Michigan

Yo Bucc thats hilarious... you probably played at Riverside in the Bantam Nationals I'm assuming? Riverside was my stomping grounds we had a dynasty back then that dude I was tellin you about Tyrone Crawford for Boise State was throwin like 80mph at that time and we were all like 12-13. I played competitive ball my whole life, last summer the first I didn't.

just curious....since we have people here from all over the place if you happen to know what is the home prices like in your area?...what is new home around 2000 sq ft home going for $ wise?

Funny you ask...wife and I just bought a new house (had it built), with an acre of land, and about 1500-1600 sq ft, and it was about 140,000

2000 sq st is probably around 170,000 or so.

Thanks man! and Congrats!...such a great time for first time home buyers with the 8k and interest rates so low...the equity you will make over the next 5 yrs will be outstanding, your way ahead of the game, good job...in our development, on .3 acre lot, you can have a 1652 sq ft home at $168,967...so it sound like our markets are pretty similar, again Congrats!

I was supposed to move up to BC because my dad got a job offer up there but the price to live up there for a house my size (honestly don't know the sq. feet off the top of my head) it's like 5x the price. My house here is worth under $200,000 Canadian and to live in a house like this up there it's at least a Mill. Shit sucks coz I really wanted to be up in the Left Coast.

Appreciate it. We love it, had been living with my parents while I was finishing up school lol. It waqs rough, but allowed for us to pay off some bills and what not. So that was good.

Plus the 8k home credit was definitely a great buying point lol.

BC is beautiful!, sure it's very spendy...While I was living in Portland Oregon, we would head up to Vancouver BC, such a cool city...

Currently in my 4th year of school at MTSU. Majoring in physical education with about a year and a half left. Look to teach high school and coach basketball. Wouldnt mind being an assistant for football or baseball either.
