Down to 11 targets on the board.... currently number 10 class in the nation

2 5 stars and 4 4 stars currently commited

5 star QB - Zach Jones - number 3 QB in the nation, chose the Terps over Virginia Tech, with the success Mitchell Hopkins is having in only his freshman season, Jones will probably take a redshirt next season. However, he will be a very good QB for the Terps when his time comes. great arm strength, above average accuracy, enough speed to buy time, not enough to outrun anybody. The quarterback mold Coach Hickerson looks for.

5 star TE - Zach Miller - Number 1 TE in the land chose the Terps over Cincinnati and Rutgers. Good size, 6'5 237. Good speed for a tight end his size, good, but not great hands, needs to work on running routes. Needs to work on run blocking as well to become a star for Coach Hickerson.

4 star OLB - Jon Triplett - Number 4 OLB in the nation, only offer was from the Terps(not sure why?) GREAT speed, excellent tackler, gets off blocks very well. Takes great angles, average strength, needs work in coverage but overall one of Coach Hickersons most prized recruits.

4 star SS - Walter Jackson - Number 4 SS in nation, only offer was from Terps, very big, could become an OLB, 6'4 214. Good spped and tackling ability, needs to work on zone coverage if he plans on being a safety for Coach Hickerson.

4 star MLB - Joseph Jackson - Chose the Terps over Pittsburgh. Good speed for inside linebacker, great open field tackler, needs to work on getting off blocks and reading the offense, could take a redshirt next season with the Terps depth at middle linebacker.

4 star WR - Jeff Johnson - Only offer was from Terps, ggood speed and agility, finally Coach Hickerson may have the burner type receiver he has been desperately in search of. Very raw receiver, but will more than likely see time on the field simply because the Terps just do not have much speed at all at receiver.
