almost final in Lincoln, currently 41-10 Oregon.

gg titan.. i kno its early for ur team.. they were fiesty n played hard the first half they just couldnt maintain it for 60 min it didnt get sloppy till the second half..

Nebraska is crushed by Oregon 41-10, freshman Causey throws 3 interceptions

This was a close game until the 4th quarter, as Oregon rolled off three pick six's to seal the deal and make it look ugly. Game was tied 10-10 at half as Nebraska kicker kicked about a 40 yard field goal or so as time expired to send it to locker room. Nebraska comes out and gets a huge run by freshman Mike Ewing, breaking 3 separate tackles for about 15 yards to get almost to midfield and then senior Steve Williams fumbles on the next play. This leads to an Oregon touchdown, then Nebraska goes 3 and out... then 3 more points for Oregon to make it 20-10. Nebraska gets ball toward end of the third quarter and starts a drive... they get to about the 10 or 15 of Oregon with about 5 minutes or so left in the 4th, guaranteed at least 3 points here and freshman quarterback Keith Causey throws the first of his 3 pick six's in the 4th quarter alone to seal the game for Oregon and at the same time open the flood gates. I must say, Keith Causey was OREGON's best player today.

I guess closing out games goes with having a young team, this is the youngest team I have ever coached so I have yet to experience that in my career, but that could change this season. Good game AX, sorry i let it get not so interesting in the 4th... same story as usual for me, cant finish a game.

sounds like it was a much better game then the score...tough when you don't have your starting QB against a great user team...

Today the Ducks hit the Road to face coach hickerson and the Nebraska Cornhuskers.. Coach Santana knows the team well from his big xii days but its a different team with hickerson at the helm... The 2 coached have only faced off once while hickerson was in maryland and it was a barn burner so this game we knew would be a well coached hard fought game.. The Huskers won the toss and elected to kick..With a good balance of run and pass the ducks would march down the field but the husker defense would get fired up in the redzone batting down passes at the line and the lb even diving to bat a pass down.. the ducks would have to settle for a fg.. The huskers would get the ball and drive with a heavy dose of run 12 run only 2 pass plays but the oregon defense couldnt get them off the field. That drive would consume the rest of the first quarter into the second quarter and the huskers would score to take the lead 7-3 over oregon..The oregon offense would do more of the same and in the redzone the husker defense would make a huge pay picking off holiday... the oregon d would force a 3 and out tho not allowing them to capitalize on the mistake.. the oregon offense would take the field after the punt and drive and score to take the lead 10-7 with 58 sec left before half... that would plenty time for the huskers to move the ball down the field and get the last second fg to go into the half tied.. "We are letting them dictate the pace to this game.. they have ball control and we have to get them off the field on third down..they are battling but we have to change this game to our tempo because they will drain this clock on us.." Coach Santana at half..The game would take a drastic turn for the huskers only 3 plays into the second half on this play...of the fourth quarter this would put the ducks ahead 27-10 after that the husker offense would step away from its traditional style of play knowing that time was against them and the game was slipping away..so they went to the air and again would be picked off..the ducks would quickly convert on the turnover 34-7.. and on the next play form scrimmage for the huskers they would throw yet another int that would be taken to the house and this would put the game out of reach at 41-10..."Coach Hickerson has a young squad in the making we have alot of young guys out there 2 but we have crafty vetrean leadership in the secondary and once we got them more involved in the game we were able to pull away...but hats off to hickerson im sure he will be giving us hell soon.." Said coach Santana on the game..The game ball goes to SS who had an int and a huge ff..

ya ur write up is perfect i mean.. it was close and his qb threw the game away.. the pick to my ss he was pressured but the other 2 were just bad throws if he throws them out in front no int but his accuracy... killed the huskers... that and that fumble.. but his defense was flying aroung.. i mean a dline man picked off my qb. a redshirt freshman i mean we are young to but the as u can see the leadership n playmakers on this team are in the secondary. when i forced the throw they were lighting ppl up and making them put the ball down..i dont have ne great recivers and my big play te went down for 2 quarters.. but a win is a win..

if we advance tonight, i will probably be able to play late, if not i wont be able to play until probably like 7 or so tomorrow night, gotta go to the girlfriends moms all day tomorrow just to give a heads up...

Hey dunno when me and macc are gonna play. Heavent heard from him, tomorrow I won't be around till 9pm or so cuz of work and mothers day stuff. That's the status of now

I'm sure he is doing mother day stuff...Not even sure Buc is around either?...would be nice if we had a scheduled KO set though...

Work until 8:30-9. Then I can play, but still hvent heard from macc. If u want I can broadcast the game pending on how many people wanna watch. I hope to have a set time soon.....

I understand doing stuff for mothers day, but there was all day yesterday as well... im not even talking about not playing, im just talking about ZERO communication...

well I understand it's frustrating for everyone....but we really have no choice imho...this is the #1 vs #5 team, huge implications on the N/C race...If I was Buc I wouldn't want to take the risk of the game being SIM...and don't think it's fair if macc was set to AUTO, which would be almost a 100% win for OSU...

I am home now, and am bout to play a online tournament game, so I can play in a n hour or so...if macc shows up.


I have an early morning tomorrow, so the latest i am willing to play is 11 central time.

If we don't hear anything, i dunno what to do. I am not simming it, as I have tried to get my schedule out there and make communication.

no bucc its not on u.. its on macc he hasnt said a word on here in days...the no communication we have talked about it several times before he is a late dude thos so maybe he shows up soon n they play tonight.. and we are all ppl with lives but how much does it take to come on here n say when ur available.. maccs my dude but its just common courtesy to us.. this dynasty is in its 10th year.. and its all because we communicate.. cant let that break down now..

My bad fellas I worked all day yesterday and literally just got off after working 10+ hours today. I'm gassed I spent the last hour of the day with my mom I literally didn't have time to shit. Buc I shud be able to get on in an hour.
