2016 Bowl Week Discussion

That game was straight bullshit Ax. EA wouldn't even let me play. My players were playing like a B- team not an A rated team. It was a fucking joke I wasn't even mad I was laughing at all the turnovers. It looked like you had all day to switch players and make INTs, I'd go to do the same you'd make the plays and be running down the field. Rudy did this thing, the spread option is so fucking cheap I'm sick of playing it and the inability in this game to defend it. Good win, by all means you balled out but it's a fucking joke how pathetic my team looked. Home team advantage should be turned off for Bowl Games. sigh GG, you killed me Ax.

ya the first fumble was bullshit... but home field advantage was defiantly off.. i made sure.. so it wasnt that.. my db's are just really that good.. dawson has 11 ints on the year.. the other cb nick johnson has 13 on the year.. so they are really good.. i thought the difference was oline to dline. my guys were getting bodies on ur guys n rudy doesnt need alot of space he hits holes so fast..ur offense moved the ball when u wanted to the turn overs were just the difference..turnover battle in user games to me is always the difference...

Ax i havent heard from 9s...but im able to go home during lunch to get our game in...but i wont be home from my bball league until 9pm. Ill be free from then on

oh and Macc...i played Ax too this year...and his DBs and LBs were super human...picking off 9 ints i believe. Felt like no matter what they turned around to create a turnover.

What just pissed me off was how quickly I could see he'd SWITCH PLAYER, his new player would be RIGHT in positojn, looked like all he needed to do was press triangle. I'm not trying to take away from your win at all Ax, don't take it this way I just wish it would've had momentum going both ways. It seemed like nothing I would do would work, I couldn't stick to my gameplan. But I've seen in other leagues making it a rule once you're defensive engaged, you must stick on that player you can't just switch guys and make a pick. I'm not complaining or bitching or even saying let's use it, but it's an interesting idea... either way you have tons of speed on D and I have NO idea why you were ever complaining about a lack of CBs because they ate me up lol Fuck what ANYONE says, if Marcus Eldridge can be talked into his senior year... I will be using every last minutre of my week one off season recruiting lol.

that makes me feel better about losing to MIZZ....sad part is I had no TO and he had one INT...and I still lost....

i understand ur frustration macc i do.. like ea did screw ur team they gave u no shot.. im not aruing the fact like i had hitting on conservative n my defense was hard hitting macc all game all on thier own.. i kno ea was on my side.. they made that clear with the fumble on ur first drive.. as fas as the ban 5 wr.. we all agreed to limited 5 wr use.. i dont use it alot.. but i throw it in ther..i guess more than anything i dont kno what u guys want.. some stuff has to work.. we cant not use ne thing that works..its football.. some stuff just works... 5 wr isnt completely broken in my opinion the problem is zone coverage in this game is completely broken.. so u have to play man and u can beat man easily.. but we all suffer with it..i play man and gruden exploits the match up oh hb on lb.. but i dont go ok no throwing to ur hb out the back field its broken u kno? i think we just play.. i never complain about ne ones playing style.. macc scrambles with qb and ya its hard to cover but im not gonna stay stop doing it u kno? no one here is a cheeser.. no one explits loop holes we are all just playing how we are comfortable...ikd it just seems like whenever someone loses they nit pick about what worked but offcourse it worked thats the difference in a win and a loss...

o and i was complaining about cb because going into off season that year i had 2.. dawson and the other dude.. i got nick in off season and he turned out to be a beast.. but if u noticed i would call t.o just so they could rest because after my 3cb i have a fs as my 4th n then a lb as my 5th so i have to keep my cbs on the field..

I think no one should be able to use that gimmicky gameplan bullshit and we all play straight up......as far as changing players on defense...that should always be allowed...no one should be handcuffed on defense...its hard enough to play defense against a user

Sorry, I would have to disagree on the notion of not being able to switch to your CPU guys on a ball in play. That severely takes away from the user skills, and I believe to be good in user games you need to be able to take control of the dumb CPU AI and make plays. Just my opinion.

The 5WR sets as a base offense can be problematic, but I dunno if we can just ban it. Its a tough situation.


The gameplan stuff I guess we can do without, I only use conservative tackling. Switch the D-line aggeressivness and conservative from time to time, and if a guy is running around with his QB i mess with the option stuff as well. It all depends on how the flow of the game is going.

for the most part, after thinking about it and hear your guys input it's best just to leave things the way they are no one seems to abuse 5wr set in user games...and switching players on D makes sense with AI being so bad most of the time...i don't think messing with settings is a big deal....if you go to aggressive there are consequences...back to another talked about topic are we going to improve sliders next season helping out the CPU O ability?

My first TD was bullshit. Moore caught a deflected pass and then broke some tackles. Then Aerillius Williams had a big option run for a TD and then I had a bullshit fumble on a kickoff before the half for a TD. Penn st didn't tackle well and 9s caught some bad breaks
