| Up no problem..
GOTW
#11 North Carolina @ #5 TCU - Two powerhouse run happy offences colide and both coaches have a nice duo of backs they like to switch it up with. You've got TNT up against Thunder And Lightning. Ryan Houston is their power goalline back and Shaun Draughn takes most of the snaps before the 20. This will be a huge result.
#2 Stanford @ #7 Oregon State - Big time game that'll certainly shake up the BCS if it goes either way. Pac 10 Championship game right here. Good luck fellas!
HEISMAN
James Rodgers stays atop at #1. Another 15 reception 179 yard 3TD game locked himself in for this week. He'll be put to the test against Stanford's tough D.
Bradley McDougald is proving to be one of if not the most dynamic receiver in the country. He went for 386 yards receiving on 13 catches 3TDs for a career high in receiving yards in a game. He and Rodgers are neck and neck in the Best WR award.
Jacquizz Rodgers has been steady for the Beavers. He's a lightning bolt and he's the Beavers do it all back. A Defensive Coordinators night mare gameplanning against him and his brother.
Brandon Bolden continues to carry the offensive load for the Rebels on his back, proving a threat in the running and passing game. He's given the Rebels a terrific option in the Wildcat and proves he's very comfortable with running it.
Kale Cooper is the countries best QB on paper right now. He continues to torch defences as he's on the cusp of 4000 yards this season. He's extremely efficient and for the first time in Jayhawk history broke the 40 TD less than 10 INT ration record.
AWARDS
Jacquizz, Bolden and Kale duking it out for the Maxwell right now.
JR Bishop (KU) despite his freshman status is the leading candidate with 30TFL and 22Sacks.
Kale and Stanzi fight for the O'Brien.
Jacquizz, Bolden and Tucker are all going for the Walker.
Yeah McDougald probably clinches the Best WR with his near 400 yard preformance. Shout out to my leading receiver, true fresh Tray Talbot.
Coby Fleeners the leading TE right now.
J.R Bishops going to be tough to beat for the Lombardi.
Derrick Hermans the leading candidate for the Thorpe. Johnny Brown my other safetys among two Texas DBs. | |

| #2 Stanford vs #7 Oregon State An epic battle in the Pac 10 late in November as #2 Stanford comes into Reser Stadium to take on the #7 Oregon State Beavers and their Heisman hopefuls Quizz & James Rodgers...and a great game it was...Stanford jumped out to a early lead on C Osusu 6 yd TD catch to open 7-0...but the Beavers behind a zoo like crowd power down the field and score a Quizz Rodger TD run of 4 yards to knot it up at 7....The Cardinal hit quick and on the first play as Scott Eschelman took a screen pass 64 yards for the TD to put the Cardinal up 14-7 to end the 1st qt...the 2nd qt was a defence battle, but Stanford was able to put up 6 points on two N Whitaker FG of 23 and 22 yards...Stanford heads into the half up 20-7....Stanford takes the 2nd half kick off down the field, but back up TB J Stewart fumbles, his 2nd of the game, deep in Stanford territory..the 3rd qt see both teams scoreless....Stanford is able to drive down and settle for a 3rd N Whitaker fg of 20 yards.....OSU answer back with a great drive capped by a J Rodgers 5 yd Td pass from R Kantz, the key to the drive was a spectacular catch on 4th down by J Rodgers, which lead Coach Harbaugh to say, to an assistant, "Damn, he get's my vote for the Heisman!"...which lead to a score to cut the score to 23-15 giving the Beavers a one possession game...but the Cardinal recovers a onside kick and drive down for a game sealing TD by S Eschelman from 5 yards out...final score 30-15, great job OSU!Final ScoreStanford 30Oregon State 15Final StatsStanford Passing A Luck 21-27 298 2 TD 0 INT Rushing S Eschelman 18-48 1 TD Receinving C Fleener 7-119 0 TD Tackles D Howell 8 Solo Oregon State Passing R Katz 17-27 193 1 TD 3 INT Rushing Q Rodgers 15-36 1 TD Receiving J Rodgers 11-152 1 TD Tackles J Dockery 13 Solo 1 TFL | |

| Rebels Take Home 2010 Egg Bowl 52-31Brandon and the boys celebrate their second straight Egg BowlJevan Snead lead the Ole Miss Rebels on the field today replacing Ray Cotton who takes the starting snaps. Snead's making Coach Macc's decision to bench him look questionable because he stepped up today and gave the Rebels a new dimention in the passing attack that proved to be nearly undefendable for Miss State at times. Tray Talbot caught 7 passes for 191 yards and 2TDs, one of his better preformances this year. Talbot broke every school receiving record, all of which were set by Dexter McCluster last season. Tray now has 1203 receiving yards on 46 catches with 12 TDs. Talbot will continue to break his own records and record new ones as the season transpires. Brandon Bolden had a 95 yard rushing day on 21 carries for 2TDs and caught 3 balls for 71 yards and a TD. Bolden passed the 1500 yard mark on the season he now has 1594 yards with 21 rushing TDs. He's second in team receiving with 43 receptions for 577 yards and 8TDs. Derrick Herman and Johnny Brown the teams safetys played like men possessed. Herman had 12 solo tackles 6TFL and 3 Sacks. Brown had 12 Tackles 4 TFL, 1 sack and an INT that he turned into a pick 6. Two monster games really improve the duos current Thorpe Award campaign. | |

| Bearcats Slip By Rutgers, 28-21 (above: True Freshman Defensive End Joe Robinson)Cincinnati, OH-- True Freshman Joe Robinson today set two scholl records for sacks as the University of Cincinnati Bearcats scapped by a tough Rutgers outfit 28-21 today at Nippert Stadium. Robinson recorded 8 tackles and 4 sacks on the game to set the school record for most sacks in a game and most sacks in a season. When asked for his thoughts on the season Robinson is having coach Clevmire1 replied " This kid is a phenom, he was the difference today. The pressure he put on the quarterback is why we came up with the final interceptiojn to win the game". Both teams came into this matchup ranked in the top 15 in the nation for total defence, and both proved why with only one touchdown in the entire first half. It was scored by Cincinnati on a 10 yard Armon Binns reception in the dying seconds of the first quarter. With both teams finding it hard to score on each others defense the next touchdown would be crucial, and it went Cincinnati's was after a blown coverage on a play action play left Armon Binns wide open for the 56 yard touchdown. But just as the Bearcats looked to be getting on top late in the third Rutgers forced Darrin Williams to fumble on a toss play and hen drove the ball down the field to make the scores 14-7 on an 18 catch by Robinson. Cincinnati though took back their 14 point lead on the next possesion as they used up as much clock as possible before the 3 yard touchdown run ny backup Goebel. After a 1 yard Joe Martinek touchdown run to finish the Sarlet knights next possesion they were within one possesion with just 2.25 left on the clock. Rutgers decided on the long kickoff rather than the onside and came up with the three and out they needed. But with time ticking away quarterback Tom Savage had to force the issue, and after being hit as he released the pass by prodigy Joe Robinson the ball popped up nicely for Bearcats corner Cheatham who ran it back for six to give thenm the winning two score lead. Rutgers didmanage to complete a hail mary pass to wide our Stroud for a 76 yard touchdown on the last play to make the final scores 28-21. Zach Collaros had another good game finishing 19-29 280 2 TD's. As did Armon Binns who finished wih 8 catch for 103 yards and 2 touchdowns. Cincinnati's final regular season game is against the currently undefeated Kansas Jayhawks. A very important game that could boost Cincinnnati in to BCS bowl conntention or close the door. | |
