| #3 Iowa @ #2 Penn State - Happy Valley's going to be jumping off the hinges when Iowa comes in this week. Iowa posts the leagues #2 points per game average and are #4 in rush offence. All American WR Keenan Davis is posting yet another Heisman type season with a YPC average of 18.7. His 21 receptions have went for 394 yards and he's hauled in 5TDs along the way. Defensively, sophmore LE Jon Livingston has stepped up and made an impact with 31 tackles 16 TFL and 6 sacks.
HEISMAN 5
RB Troy Curry NORTH CAROLINA Troy Curry takes the top spot in the Heisman race this week after a 9 reception 146 yard 2TD preformances along with a 17 carry 118 yard day against Virginia. The defensive prodigy turned offensive weapon has over 1500 all-purpose yards on the season with 18 touchdowns.
WR Jamie Ivey ILLINOIS Ivey is proving he's no joke and a 5 catch 158 yard 3TD day against Michigan in Illinois 44-25 victory make him a certain candidate for this award at years end.
QB Tanquary Parrish AUBURN ESPN has Parrish as slumping over the past week but a 22/47 313 4TD day seem to be no joke - Parrish has possibly set the standard bar so high that experts will only be impressed with an above 70% completion 5 or more TD day.
RB Marc Payne MISSISSIPPI Not sure how ESPN has Payne slumping this bad this week, possibly because of his less than 5 YPC average against Alabama. Payne still put up 153 yards rushing along with 72 yards receiving and has 1046 yards rushing 14TDs on the season.

| So much for hoping for somehow an outside shot at the national championship, I finally experienced one of the screw jobs you all talk about on here, outscored 21-0 in the final 4 minutes of the game to lose by 7. I still can't really believe that just happened. wow | |

| I played late last night, so no write-up but...
Ohio State Rolls Indiana 50-20.
Still heated about my game w/Iowa. I work my tail off to tie the game at 21-21, then in less than 20 seconds 14 points scored on me, first TD was all Scott, he made a good read and found a 1 on 1 matchup with his Star WR...but the second TD (fumble recovery for TD) still gets to me, my Impact Player should not fumble in those situations..I don't get it at all.
I am 0-3 against him, and have 5 total losses in the OD..grrr. Good thing, or maybe not lol, is that I play him every year from here on out, unless he changes teams.

| Rebels Demoralize Rival Arkansas in Oxford 61-14
The days scoring was opened up on Arkansas' first drive when All American FS Jeremy Thompson took an interception back for six. Thompson high stepped into the endzone and that play set the tone for many to come in the near future. SS TJ Joseph had two interceptions on the day, his second also going back for six as well as CB Johnny Clark hauled in two this afternoon, one of his going for a pick six.
"Our defensive backs are really playing on a high level this year. We've had great DBs in the past but we're really happy with the way these kids have been playing especially against rival opponents. Jeremy and TJ could both play receiver on this team without a doubt but we think they're best served on defence due to their disposition and meanstreaks - they just LOVE to tackle and at this rate they can still score touchdowns and plenty of them!"
TJ Joseph has allready returned an interception for a score this year and collected his 3rd and 4th interception while Thompson hadn't scored on one yet but also hauled in his 3rd and 4th of the year. Joseph has 52 tackles (10TFL 3 Sacks) while Thompson has 52 tackles (11 TFL 2 Sacks) this year and the experts project it to be a battle between the two for the Thorpe Award this season - the first time a player would have brought it home to Oxford since Derrick Herman did it in 2011.
Marc Payne (127, 29 car, 4.3YPC, 3TDs) and Leonard James (59, 16 car, 3.6YPC, 3TDs) accounted for 179 rushing yards on the day against Arkansas and we're especially effective out of the Wildcat package. Coach Macc has James taking the snap as the quarterback while Payne runs in motion. The teams forced to key in one or the other and James makes the read if he wants to take it up the middle or hand it off to Payne whos so hard to catch when running horizontally.
Shaun Chambers posted an average game with no interceptions, threw 14/22 169 yards 1TD to Jesse Grandy whose emerging as a playmaker in the absence of Trey Talbot.

I was thinking the same thing last week, when I went down from 1 to 3 after putting up 4 TD and some big yards, tough bar they set
