Ohio State Dominates Virginia Tech in a tough environment 35-14
Blacksburg, Va
The home of the Virginia Tech Hokies is a very intimidating place to play, with 70,000 plus fans right on top of the field. It is widely known for it's home-field advantage, but on this night the Ohio State Buckeyes, known for playing on big stages came up with a dominating performance and snatched the victory 35-14.
Led by the ground attack of Davis and Brock, the Bucks pounded the rock early and often. Brock the ever-growing Freshman is delivering the hype that was discussed at the beginning of the season, carrying 18 times for 79 yards and 1 TD. Not to be outdone was the other young RB Davis who had 3TD's on a tough 30 yards rushing.
The important ingredient was the SilverBullets who pressured and harassed the Hokie offense all-day forcing 2 INT's.
The big one was a zone blitz as DE Manning slipped to the flats and picked off a pass (Shown Below)
The defensive leaders on this night was SS J. Cash with 9 tackles (2TFL) and DT Noble 8 Tackles(5TFL)
The Buckeyes have played a tough OOC schedule, and the forecast doesn't look any brighter as Iowa comes to Columbus in the next couple weeks, as the Big 10 schedule is upon us.

The #18 Oregon State Beavers should have dominated UCLA today, but a couple of cheesy plays, swayed the Mo' in UCLA's favor and the Beavs had to hold on for the win, 35-23. The first break for the Bruins occured when the Beavs were cruising with a 14-0 lead. The bruins drove it all the way down, but the Beavs Star safety Will Storey intercepted it in the endzone....as UCLA tried to tackle him he was pushed forward out of the endzone and then pushed back for a fucking safety....total bullshit....then later in the 2nd qtr the Bruins recovered a fumble and rumbled,stumbled and bumbled 84 yards for paydirt, making it 14-9. The game was officially on now! QB Gates struggled only completing 48% if his passes, but he did toss two TD's and didnt throw a pick. Star RB Jamar Lane had a whopping 41 carries, after top back up Watkins was knocked out of the game. Junior Kicker Jonathan Kennedy missed two field goals to add to Coach 9's stress level. Yo sorry about me being gone fellas, this week was crazy - starting a new job, parents being away on vaca and this weekend was just rediculous. Whatever's happened so far is fine by me, I'll pick it up wherever I left on, gonna hop on to play now!!

I know Parrish INT are high, but he has thrown for over 350 yards in his first two games...I think it's based off last year number, he did throw for around 4000 yards and 45 TD....Something interesting, in the BigDawg OD, I'm playing with Oregon....we SIM the first season, and my SR QB J Masoli starts out the season I believe number 3 on the Hesiman list...so I suspended him for the entire year, so I have been playing with my JR QB D Thomas....well after wk 3, D Thomas is now 3 on the Heisman list, and J Masoli dropped to 4, so I have two QB in the running, which is really dumb since Masoli hasn't played a snap lol!

6 ints in the first 3 games is quite high....he should be able to stack up some stats against fcs shitballs though

Preseason has a huge impact on where guys will be up until about the 4th or 5th week. It's stupid but the exact same for team rankings as well. Damnit of COURSE I've got a bye week when I want to play!! lol Chris Wade 4 Heisman!!

you guys hear about the new OD features for next year? there will only be one week of bowls....so everyone can play their games right away...no 3 or 4 week...advance as we go bullshit....should speed up the process quite a bit

he's only played 2 games, but ya 6 is quite high...4 against K didn't help to start the season off...parrish will only play 2 qt this week vs Portland State

how did you luck out getting a fcs school? thought they werent gonna be scheduled anymore...or did we agree to just sim the game

I had Michigan on the schedule, and they backed out at the last minute, because they were afraid little girls...so it left my AD scrambling to fill the spot, so he called an old buddy who is the AD at Portland State and got them on the schedule at the last minute...

i'm not dissing the schedule makers in any way..that was a late fucking night...but how much time was put into the scheduling?....I feel that is one thing that should be taken extra time on next season

I hope we don't SIM it...that's a way to get somone hurt, beside why do you care, you get to play Washington State every year, which is the equal to a FCS game LOL!

yeah.....they are a bit better than a fcs school though....but they do suck.....I just remember when goat or someone just smoked this fcs school and we were talking about removing them from schedules from then on....just puzzeled me to see them on your schedule

Hey Chris when I play a school like that I start the game, and Super Sim the game...and RIGHT before the game is over go and check if anyone got injured. If no1 did...then just finish. If some1 DID get injured start it over.
We all will know why u restarted..
Just an idea.

ya macc probaly just missed it cause playing fcs hurts chris especially if he is a one loss team and its strength of schedule that determines who gets into the natty champ or a big bowl game.. there seem to be a few schedule issues this year... iowa has 3 user games.. 2 in confrence one outside i dont kno if he asked for 3 or not but if he didnt thats not fair then goat has no more user games so right no in week four hs is for sure in the national championship game. Now he may(cause this isnt certain) face maryland in the acc champ game but those dont count. when me and bucc were in the big xii we played 2 user games plus our conf champ every year... so personally if goat gets in on the two its not really fair.. and if iowa doesnt get the chance to repeat because they dropped one of 3 then thats not fair either.. but lets seee how it all plays out.

no i was a little disappointed in the scheduling as well i play goat week 2 when im the defending national champ and he was the years before... we havent met in the national championship yet... so i think its a little stupid that i have to play him week 2 another thing is i didnt get a rivalry game so my recruiting is pretty much screwed

well i think everyone thought that would be a good game.. but ur right would have been a better national championship game but u both have to get there and that hasnt happened yet so we were all in the chat box and thought it would be a really good game and we were trying to get everyone to play pppl they havent played before. so from now on as soon as we get close to off season we will start a topic about schedules.. who u have and havent played and we can make the schedules much better so we don't have this problem ne more.

Auburn takes care of Portland State early, as SR Heisman hopeful T Parrish has a banner day, throwing 7 TD pass to 6 different WR in 2 1/2 qt of play...Only down note, is FR RB who had moved to 2nd on the depth chart was hurt, and will be out 10 weeks (ugh, I simmed, and forgot to check injury report and then saved it)...
Side Note, Coach Harbaugh picks up his 60 victory as a coach in just over 5 years of coaching....

I think it's never going to be perfect, as schedule does have it's limitation with conf games, conf champ games...and while i wasn't thrilled to have to play goat last year either treated like my national championship game...would have much rather played him early, as an early L is much easier to overcome then a late season L IMHO...and like K pointed out, playing a FCS is going to give my strength of schedule a hit.
