2016 Week 10 Discussion

Is up..The national Championship picture starting to shape up here and the landscape of the 2016 season is a bout to take shape..Starting in the big ten where Iowa takes on the Ohio State Buckeyes...This game has been dominated by coach cookan and the hawkeyes...but i think this Year Coach Phillips and the Silver Bullets have a little magic and will pull out the victory.. either team that wins still has a tough road ahead as they both have to face Illinois...We all anxiously wait the result of this game.. good luck to both coaches..

Marylands national championship hopes are crashed once again, damn it i hate losing, especially in that fashion, hell of a comeback by chris... not really sure what happened to me there, whether it be loss of focus, or just one ferocious comeback by chris, hats off to ya man... i love playing chris, one hell of a sim player.

feels like a loss of a season now, i honesty never felt like my team was good enough to compete for a championship this season anyway... hopefully i can talk hopkins into coming back, get my running backs healthy... and land a couple of recruits, im number 1 on like everybody on my boards list but cant get a commit.

I agree 100% really like playing you too, and the rivaly we got going..that's two years in a row game ended on a FG...You have plenty to play for, BCS bid, good luck rest of the way, one of us needs to take down the giant Goat!

wow, FSU jumps to number 2 in polls....going to try and play later...tried to start a game, but wife said no no, need to hang and watch dancing with the stars lol...will either player late tonight or TUE, since I have the day off...

The #9 Oregon State Beavers cruised to an easy shut-out victory tonight, at home against the Stanford Cardinal 49-0. The Beavs D was again dominant, holding the Stanford Offense to only 2 First Downs and 63 total yards of offense, ringing up 4 sacks and an Int. RS-SO QB Grant Harvey continued his yo-yo season, completing less than 50% of his passes for 3 TDs and 2 Ints. Star HB Calvin Watkins was knocked out of the 1st quarter and only accumulated 56 yards. Antonio Witherspoon carried the day with his 88 yards and one ground score. WR Reggie Rowe had 9 receptions for 121 yards and two scores.

Iowa wind 38-31. Game was again a complete joke. I'm home team, suppose to have a home filed adv. but I get down 24-0 after the first quarter. Iowa guys just making me fumble, even though I have Big Run on conservative...doesn't make sense.

Down 31-7 at half. Or something, then try to get back in it agains prevent defense. Made the score respectable. but eh...I was heated most of the game.

For the remainder of the OD, after this season. We need to monitor player depth chart changes, no more WR's at FB, or Skinnt HB's at fullback. Needs to be a weight and speed limit. It exploits the game, hits the hole too quick...and boom he's gone. Just a lil FYI.

Macc...we NEED to enforce this rule. No more BS, position changes. ESPECIALLY depth chart moves in-season.

i dont understand how thats bs he was an 84 at corner and a 82 at WR but his breaking tackles was 88 so i put him at slot reciever/RB pretty much a shitter version of troy curry and i only ran that fb dive because i was running out the clock

Yeah I don't know about changing a WR to FB that seems a bit odd to me. Personally, I think keeping it realistic in that running backs or say a tight end could be converted to FB - that's no problem they often have the same TYPICAL skill set. Obviously a tight end out there may give you the benefit catching and blocking, but typically they won't hang onto the ball well. But a WR at FB really seems like it would exploit a lot in this game especially in a user game. MY OPINION - Fullbacks should only be interchangable with RBs TEs and OL. Tight Ends should only be interchangable with OL, FB, WR (that are over 6'2 and 215 .lbs).

There's no real PENALTY in this OD, I've never "punished" anyone and don't intend to. My senior members (well all of you really) do a terrific job of voicing their opinion and it's a majority-rules type way of running things here. Just like any other time, we'll hopefully all enforce the general ruling so I'll go make a post about it but really, if you would've addressed Scott I'm sure it could have been avoided - after all you're the only two in the dynasty who get to brag about the latest result IRL.

I'm sure Ax, Jesse and Chris chime in later, and other by all means if you think you've got an idea how we could not only patrol this but ensure position changes aren't abused - by all means holla.

And Scott, this by no means was a "shot" at you or anything. I just want the children to get along now.

week 11 is up guys.....I wont be home to play my game till after 11pm est...lot of shit to do tonight....

sorry didn't get my game in...was hanging with my boy and he doesn't understand deadlines...anyway to Bucc concern about pos change I agree 100%...I don't want to have to monitor what other guys are doing, and just expect people to leave players were there set at...i.e no WR at FB....you could easily put a WR at TE, he may be rated in the 50's but if he has 90+ speed he will abuse a LB trying to cover him...if you want to do this stuff in your games vs CPU I have no issues with that...I just expect that when I play guys that they aren't going to be moving guys around...I just played some dude in the lobby two nights ago, and noticed his DE was extremly fast off the edge, so I went and checked, and he had moved a SS to that spot...IMHO if you hit the R1 button when settng depth chart and it doesn't put a WR at FB as one of the the top 3 spots, if you manuel make the move your just exposing the game flaws...And there should def be weight and hit min guides when you do pos changes in the off season...I don't want to play someone with a 5"9 200 DE or a TE that is under 6'1 220 pounds...sorry to rant, but I think it's BS when players do these types of things, I would be bummed if I was you Bucc...

I guess my question would be even if the game was over, and you were just running out the clock, when you made the move to sub him in did you feel like it was kind of cheesy at all? Then my next thought would be why did you make the move, was everyone else tired or hurt? Just curios to the thought process actually....
