2016 Week 11 Discussion

So its up n big user games this week... The Oregon Ducks are going to be put to the test as they square off with the North Carolina Tarheels..not sure but i Illlinois and eithier Iowa or Ohio State play this week... BIG Week here again it will shake up he nc picture..

wow, this is a big weekend of football...4 of the top 5 going at it....epic games...good luck fellas...

Florida State takes on Rival Clemson on Homecoming Weekend, and the fans leave happy with the W, even though it was not pretty, FSU stays unbeaten...Final Score 14-3

The #9 Oregon State Beavers destroyed the Washington State Cougars, allowing only a pick-6, 49-7. The Beavs D was the story again, holding the Cougs to only 68 total yards of offense and 9 sacks(all by MLB Michael Muse),and 3 Interceptions(all by FS Paul Jones). RS-SO QB Grant Harvey ruled the airways, completing 61% of his passes and bombing for over 300 yards and 5 TDs, while only tossing one pick-6. HB C Watkins got his usual 100 yards but he failed to score. WR Reggie Rowe dominated again, hauling in 8 receptions for over 150 yards and finding the endzone twice. SO superstar TE Matt Outlaw pulled in 9 of Harvey's passes, including one for a TD. Coach 9's gave congrats to his squad, but then again it was Washington State.

on somewhat of a magical drive i score 21-11 2:42 in the foruth

game final score 21-11.. a few big plays turned the game.. i couldnt move it n when i did penalties and dropped passes killed me add in 2 ints n that did it.. good game goat.. he grinded me out.. well i lost my national championship game.. some one in the acc is in.. and iowa it looks like..ok i have calmed down.. there were alot of holding penalties called on my it was almost screwey how they were being called.. it was close.. it was a defensive game but my guys would force third n not make the plays needed.. but the pick at half..was huge instead of scoring i ended with nothing and we all kno in these user games u dont get alot of chances.. also that first fg i had to settle for on a holding call did me in too.. the bomb was major cause it really added some cushion for him n outside that we were holding his o in check well not giving up ne big plays.. it was a good game. but hfa was def not there lol..but goat isnt a destroyer like everyone makes him seem.. he just is very poise and doesnt fuck up.. he threw a pic but he doesnt force it and he plays balanced... it took me a fre drives to figure out his defense but the close windows fast and hit hard n my guys kept puttin the ball on the ground.. i didnt even count the drops but i am sure i had lots..

Sounds like you gave him a good run K....that is a perfect way to describe Goat, he is a GRINDER...just kills me every time on a couple big plays...and usually score to end the half each time I have played him...Just a really strong player...takes a perfect game to beat him IMHO....

i agree ax. there were a shitload of holding calls. more than i have ever seen. it got to a point where i almost felt bad accepting them. but really, what was i gonna do? your d definitely held my offense in check. i really didn't get much of anything going. the long td pass before the half pretty much changed the game. it was a very even game. and you're right, there is nothing flashy about my team or my skill on the sticks. my d is very highly rated, and they really take care of most of my games. i just try to make a few plays on offense, and not make a whole lot of mistakes. it was a very good, and close game. i won't say you're getting there, because you are there. in alot of the user games, is just a matter of getting the breaks. and today, it seems like i got pretty much all of them.

ya goat i didnt mean it in a negative way but sometimes ppl talk like ur god lol ur very good there is no doubt but im saying i think the strongest element of ur game is poise.. u seemed to never get flustered out there and in user games thats huge.. i lose my composure and force balls sometimes and that kinda stuff gets u in trouble.. ur one of the best cause u stick to your guns and u dont ever go either way it was a hell of a game and ya i understand about the holding calls i kno u had to take them but omg lol i had fun it was a really good game congrats on the win..

Im done with this week, won 42-35..against a terrible MSU squad. Was rushing through the game..lol..and it almost cost me.

ax, no need to explain. i didn't take anything negative as to what you wrote. and you're absolutely right. user games are totally different than cpu games. i used to approach them the same way. however, i ended up screwing myself, more than helping myself. i would try to be aggressive, and would just end up turning it over countless times, or taking sacks. i definitely had to reel it in and tone it down. also, i happen to be fortunate to have some very good defenses. therefore, i didn't/don't need to score near as much as i would actually like. user games usually come down to who makes fewer mistakes. or maybe, who takes fewer chances. i would like to be more aggressive, but in user games (thanks to EA), it usually benefits your opponent.

Will get my game in around 5 or 6 central
