| Oregon Makes It Look Easy Breezy
Oregon 63 Georgia 33
After Redshirting their entire #3 ranked class last year, those players looked to step in and make an immediate impact. And boy did they ever. Redshirt Freshman Michael Owens Jr. Erupted for 11 Catches 237 Yards and 4 TDs. Trenton Hood saw limited action due to the one sided victory but scampered for 113 Yards and 1 TD. Maurice Davis passed for 4 Tds, and Redshirt QB/HB Aerillius Williams ran the wildcat to perfection as he threw for 113 yards and a TD, Ran for a TD and Caught a TD. This years Oregon squad is very diverse. No longer a one trick pony. With a big matchup with Michigan next week...they look to keep it rolling! | |

| Bucc UCF would not play u.. in all the weeks i had space to put them in.. they werent available.. i tried all of ur open weeks and it couldnt happen but i did try.. 9's i can meet ur request but then u will play both ur user game more than likely in back to back weeks 1-3 maybe 4 depending on what the big ten gives u.. I dont think u guys under stand what that process is like... if i dont do it its cause i cant.. i dont have alot of felx and with 2 ooc user games for some i got to match up open weeks... but 9's if ur okay with potentially starting ur season out with user games in week 2 and 3 maybe 4 than i will do that form now on.. i try not to give ne one back to back user games where i can avoid it.. hell i got a bye week 1 i didnt want that but its was the only way... | |

| o and ya facemask does happen to much ill adjust... also i didnt touch the sliders yet as no uniform decision was made..and the game speed is the same it has been from the start.. its on normal speed thresh at like 45.. grudens sliders ask for the game speed to be moved to slow lol so i guess we dont like that idea.. u wanna push up the speed? i kinda liked it as is..i think fast is gonna be too fast.. | |

| GT getting ready to kick of the 2016 season
yo ax i thought the majority of us were for the slider changes? Grudens were fine imo, the only thing we needed to change was the game speed back to normal and the threshold to 35 i think you said.
there were other little things that i thought needed to be increased but mabey that was just me. if everyone else feels the same we can change them later, but his base set should work fine.
either way i think his provide a much more balanced game then the ones we have in place now. im just tired of seeing those 70-30 blowouts you know. Do u think you can put them in for next week? | |

| Pitt envades Miami, highsteps away with 40-10 victory.
It would be the first year Coach Macc would take the field without his super senior class, four of them going in the first round of the NFL selection draft (Brock Harris - Detroit Lions, Preston East - Baltimore Ravens, Kory Rogers - Tennessee Titans, Tramon Beck - Minnesota Vikings) and there would be a completely new look on the field. Despite losing almost the entire starting lineup, it did not look to be an inexperienced group. The defence was fast, always around the ball and gang tackled with purpose. The secondary, which will be this teams question moving forward was lead by first year nickle back corner, Jeff Coleman a first year junior college transfer, with juniour eligibility. The coaching staff discussed the opportunity to redshirt him to maximize his potential but there's no question that Coleman is probably their best playmaker at DB.
QB Marcus Eldridge has a new friend in WR Will Rosario, they connected twice for scores, the first a 64 yard catch and run that Rosario showed his break away speed that resulted in todays play of the game. Travis Robinson recorded a score from 31 yards out and TE Ken Williams had a score from 29.
More on first year players, sophmore DE Jordan Wyatt in VERY limited playing time (only in 5-2 sets) recorded three sacks on the day, one being a safety. Wyatt was in on maybe 5 or 6 snaps the entire game, it's evident the ammount of pressure senior DE's Joe Henderson and Dane Richard are dialing up allow for Wyatt to show the impact he can have on the field. Wyatt will be a player to lookout for in the future and he was today's impact defensive player.
QB Marcus Eldridge 13-21 265 yards 4TDs RB Jacob Lee 16 carries 61 yards 1TD WR Will Rosario 6 rec 116 yards 1TD TE Ken Williams 2 rec 63 yards 1TD
MLB Dwayne Graham 7 solo tackles 2TFL DE Dane Richard 6 solo tackles 2TFL CB Jeff Coleman 5 solo tackles 1pass def
---------
Initial opinion on sliders - CPU still dials up pressure on EVERY play action pass. It's still impossible to throw out of PA. - CPU offense seemed to be "clicking" more, no more EASY three and outs that I could've gotten without playing at all. There were some drvies where I dialed up pressure or called a nice zone that put me in position to three and out them, but it seems like the CPU off is no longer a push over. A running game was present. Good mix. - Too many fumbles. I saw about 4 or 5 today. - CPU passing is no longer unstoppable THANK YOUUU
All in all these are certainly a step in the right direction. The CPU pass off was our main problem last year, and it appears as if the adjustment of CPU has accounted for big plays so it wont just be them moving the ball thru the air. It was against a pretty weak MIA team and my teams quite stacked - but this felt like a good competitive set based on this game.

| ok here is the thing with the sliders... i can change it but its not fair for ppl to be going into user games with a whole new game play.. yes i kno the sliders reset to 50/50 but we are changing the speed threshold as well.. and who knows what effects that has.. but from what i am reading in order to balance the sliders u need it set to 0.. remember the speed threshold is going to change the speed diff between lb and wr and things of that nature not fair to have to learn how to adjust that on the fly inna user game.. but idc up to u guys... | |

| Well USF starts week 1 with a conference victory 52-32. This team is gonna be very inconsistent this year I imagine.
Next week USF hosts Florida State. The talent level is way one-sided on this matchup, lets hope to keep it close. | |

| Texas A&M kicks off the season with a win over Hawaii....It appeared the Aggies were lagging early, not sure if it was the time zone difference or to much fun on the beach prio to the game, but the Warriors jump out to a 7-0 lead by marching down the field in impressive fashion....A&M puts together a nice drive of it's own and D Brown connects with WR S Quinn for a nice 7yd TD pass in the back of the end zone...2nd qt starts like the 1st qt as Aggies are unable to get Hawaii off the field, and Derek Barnes puts the Rainbows ahead 14-7 on a 6 yard run....A&M appears to wake up and John Jones get's loose on a slant route from Dez Brown and takes it to the house 64 yards to tie the score 14-14...On the sideline you could see DC Steve Emntman get's the attention of his Defense, and from there on out Hawaii would only manage 228 yards and 0 points as the A&M ground game get's going also as SR TJ Jackson would score 3 TD rush for 181 yards to lead the solid opener final score 44-14. | Arizona State wins in season opener, 35 to 28 Arizona State opened the 2016 season with a win over SEC opposition Ole Miss, 35 to 28 Saturday in Tempe, AZ. Ole Miss jumped out to a 14 to 0, then 21 to 7 lead in the first half before ASU scored twice in the final minutes of the first half to tie it up at the break. The third quarter saw the defenses trading punches as neither offense managed to get going, but in the 4th quarter the Sun Devil offense led by senior tailback Clinton Webb managed to put up 14 points and notch the victory in the season opener. "It is big to win your first game, get some confidence going, especially at home, get the fans believing in you too, you know we got down early, but I told the guys, especially the seniors, this was our year, our last ride man, and we aint gonna go out like this, we gotta step up and be leaders and put the team on our back, I think we did that today," said Webb. Webb had a career day at tailback, carrying the ball 21 times for 262 yards and 2 touchdowns, also caught 1 pass for 35 yards and a touchdown. Sophomore Marcus Manson started the day at quarterback, but threw two early interceptions and never got in rhythm which led to him being benched in favor of redshirt freshman Dustin Edwards. Edwards looked sharp in his first career action, not trying to do to much, and just taking what was there. Edwards finished the day 8 of 12 for 146 yards and 2 touchdowns, 1 interception. "The interception was a bad decision, it was a play fake and the pressure got to me and i kinda just let it go, bad decision, sometimes a sack is the best thing and I know that, just gotta play smart on the field," said the freshman Edwards. Coach Hickerson was most impressed with the defense, which had 9 guys with at least 3 tackles and forced 2 turnovers. "We played awful in the first quarter and the beginning of the second quarter, but from that point the guys made it a team effort, we dont have any stars on this defense and we know we have to play a team defense, we have each others back on the field, and we have to rely on that. Trust each other, is something we been preaching all camp, and they didnt go by that early, but in the second half especially they begin to trust each other a little more, and it paid off. We will get better every day on that side of the ball, but today, minus the first 15 minutes.. I loved the effort and intensity," said Hickerson. Next week the Sun Devils with begin the tour of Oregon as they take on the Beavers of Oregon State before traveling to the Zoo at Autzen the week after to take on the number 8 Ducks and Coach Grey. | |
