ok chris im sure ur upset but im lookin at the guy in question and iff u look at his stats its clear he was an athlete.. he can cover and he can catch so he probaly was one of those wacky recruits that could have done a hand full of things.... and he is 198..also i didnt see ne de under 196 even tho i saw a few that were that light and the olb is 186 but unlv has a guy thats 181 if they were ath then it makes total sense those guys come in able to play a handful of positions and thier weight n size dont matter.. if we wanna set rules fine but cookan wouldnt do that in purpose... he seems pretty sim.. but let us go ahead and set some kind of something here.. chris is pissed and i feel his pain we cant exploit weaknesses in the game n some of us use some of them.. but lets just set some guidelines to prevent this from happenein ne more..

I agree Macc. That seems reasonable without us getting all crazy with rules LOL.
Some speed rushers come in as frosh at 215-220 then bulk up...

I see what your saying ax, but if his speed wasn't a 91 he would have moved him to a different position, such as LB which would be more ok. All his stats are good, but that speed with that weight, that you cannot expolot by running at him, makes it silly.
That guys was either a WR, or CB to begin with is my guess.

Not off...lol....he saw he was rated a 91 if he moved him to it, we didnt have restrictions set. Prolly figured O MY this guys is gonna be a beast. Well, someone noticed it, played against him, and found out the hard way, that there needs to be a limit. Hell if a guy is 245 and a 91 on speed so be it, but at least it looks as if he was a DL to begin with. Which would be a once in a lifetime prospect (think Jevon Kearse) but he was probably 225 in his college days..

sure he was a ATH...we all know he was set up to be either a WR/CB....find my a 198 pound DE in D1 football....and a OLB at 178...damn, the more we talk about this the piser i'm getting LOL...I just lost a huge game, so I'm bumed...But, if this is how we want to roll so be it...I can field a D with a bunch of dudes under 200 pounds fast as shitt if that is how you guys want it to be....we all know a player rated 60 and below can do some damage with 90 speed at any position on the field...

On a lighter note.... UGA beat their arch rival Georgia Tech like a rented mule, 49-0 on what was a great night at the ballpark for Georgia fans on their 2018 Senior Night and final home game the senior class of 2018 would play.
QB Lamar Herron and WR Dominique Brown would make the night memorable, but not after RB Ryan Walker busted two first quarter runs for 83 and 61 yards. Lamar Herron would make up for this first quarter interception finding a wide open Dominque Brown for a 61 yard score and the Bulldogs would open up a 21-0 lead.
Coach Macc decided to sit his starting running backs in the second quarter for conditioning purposes and this game really getting out of hand early but Ryan Walker assumed the duties in the third and fourth carrying the team on his back with 10.3 per carry, 186 on 18 carries three scores before the day was over.
Lamar Herron made history becoming the all-time leading passer in career yardage, touchdowns and virtually every QB record in this game, and he found offensive captain WR Dominique Brown four times on what would also be the new school record for receiving touchdowns in a game.
Big winnn! I get my revenge!
STATS L. HERRON 16/28 254 yards 4TD 2INT R. WALKER 18 CAR 186 yards 3TD D. BROWN 7 CATCH 194 yards 4TDs TOKEN WILLIAMS 9 tackles 4 TFL 3 sacks COREY MARTIN 7 tackles 4TFL 2 sacks
chris man ur absolutely right... its total nonsense we have to set weight limits in no way shape or form is ne one saying it ok.. and i agree with bucc when cookan propbably didnt look that deeply into it when he made those moves.. but we are aware he has to move those guys and from now on we set a weight limit requirement so it doesnt happen again.. i mean idk what else we can do... unless u feel like the game should be replayed with those ppl not allowed to play? if it was a complete exploit.. idk what else we can do..and im sure cookan isnt gonna like that idea..

I shot Fox a text message asking him about what his schedule looks like. Because I figure Goat would be able to play this evening sometime after work.
Fox and cokan are on summer break now, so their schedules are changing a bit...but i'll see what I can find out.
p.s. I will play my game here in a lil bit also.

'18 SENIOR DAY HUGE SUCCESS
In what could argueably go down as the most successful recruiting year in the history of the Georgia program, Coach Macc's first year, the recruiting class of '14 played what would be their final game in Sanford Stadium. Clean Old Fashioned Hate - the Rivalry name given to the bitter in-state rivalry that dates back over 90 years got uglier this year. Lamar Herron and Company faced a tough Georgia Tech squad in their freshman year on the road and got thumped 56-3. It was clearly evident last night that the bitter taste left in the mouths of those remaining members was washed up and rinsed with pain and anguish as the Dawgs offence in particular shined brightly and the defense equally collaborating to pitch a shut out.
In what would be the play of the game and a defining moment in the career of both QB Lamar Herron and WR Dominique Brown - and what better a time than to do it on your Senior Day against Georgia Tech.
That pass gave Herron his 39th on the year and broke the all-time SEC School record for career passing yards, career passing touchdowns and the single-season record for touchdowns. Herron looks forward to a tough LSU squad in the SEC Championship and may very well have to take the last remaining single season passing yardage if the Dawgs look to capture a consequtive SEC crown and potential BCS Bowl. Herron sits at 3005 and needs to pass to 3525. Brown's touchdown catch, his fourth of the game also adds him to the Georgia record books with most touchdown receptions in a game.
It was a great night at Sanford Stadium and a monumental Senior Day as Coach Macc's very first recruiting class says good bye and looks forward to finish out the year.

i just read what was going on and yeah i agree we need a weight limit on every position. cokan got some small ass dudes doing big shit over there. THats not realistic at all. SO i vote yes for weight guidelines.

Buckeyes pull away late, as the offense struggles in a 26-9 win:
The Bucks struggled to get any offense going for three quarters, as Dylan Day struggled as a full-time QB, as starter Joe Roberson is out for 7 weeks. Day only completed 41% of his passes, and threw 1 INT. He also had a fumble. But Coach Phillips stuck with him, and he made the play of the game hitting WR Andy Richardson in stride in the fourth quarter from 88 yards out. Which gave the Bucks all the cushion they would need.
"I knew I wasnt having a good day, but Coach's confidence in me gave me the motivation to make a play when we needed it. We were in a tight game, as we expected from rival Michigan, but that play I knew would be the key turning point" Day talks in his post-game presser
The defense was outstanding today, not allowing an offensive TD, as the only Wolverine score came on a fumble recovery. After gaining the moemtum Justin Miller stepped in front of a pass int he fourth quarter and scampered in from 35 yards out, to seal the game.
Now the Bucks will have to wait anxiously as their season is done with,. Will the defending champs get a shot at actually defending? It remains to be seen as there are plenty of games yet to be played.
" We have done what we needed to, now its up the those dang computers" Coach Phillips comments on the waiting game.

Thanks for the response...and want to make it clear, I don't believe I lost the game due to these two players..Coke beat me and I don't want to take anything away from that aspect, so I wouldn't suggest replaying it...I just want us all to be on the same page in regards to this...how we go about it I'm not exactly sure...open to suggestions

afternoon kids, unfortunately, due to family bs, i won't be available at my standard time tonight. i probably won't be able to play until 9:30 or 10:00 est. i'm not sure if that works at all with megan. i really don't wanna hold things up, but there is nothing i can do about it. if wanna advance prior to that, i understand. even if i win out, the bcs will probably send me to the tangerine bowl.
god bless troy curry.
