2010 Week 4 Discussion

maybe we could go back right now and pick a play of the week for each week or seomthing, and then at the end of the season pick from those? or something liek that?


I dunno how we would do it, like if EEVRYBODY would vote, or just we could elect a committe of like 3 or 4 ppl to pick the play each week, and then at the end of the year let EVERYBODY vote on it? Everybody voting each week could be a little much.

I'd also love to be a part of that. I'm sure Ax and I could whip up something together, unless there's some more interest.

to play the user game, me and goat couldnt connect .

well i am in game with the CPU and have been signed out of PSN...every time I try to re-sign on it gives me some PSN Error message..

Im in the 3rd quarter and still playing up 14-3...but I am afraid that when I finish it wont save the game

Rainy Day In Seattle....
1st QT OSU takes the opening kickoff and march down field behind JR QB Brandon Weeden , but the drive was stopped sort in the red zone as Desmond Trufant picks off Weeden. One of three picks Weeden would throw on the day. The Huskies would move the ball out to midfield but a nice stop by the OSU would lead to Washington Punt. On the next possession, Weeden would throw a costly TO to impact CB Adam Long, and the SO would return the pick for a 56 yard dazzling TD run to end the qt UW 7-0.

2nd QT OSU would turn to stud Kendall Hunter HB who would reward the OSU staff with a 9 yard TD rush at the 4:37 mark...In the 2nd QT both QB throw INT, Locker would end up throwing 3 INT on the day, and combine with two dropped passes, one for a 30 yard gain that would have keep the drive alive, and late bomb in the end zone would lead to a poor passing day for the one time Heisman hopeful. Locker was able to put together a nice drive capped with a 1 yd TD run to put UW with 0:08 on the clock. Halftime score has UW up 14-7 and would be getting the opeaning 2nd half kickoff.

3rd QT The Cowboy D is fired up, and rules the 2nd half forcing a punt on UW opening drive for the 2nd half, which would lead to a nice drive, and TD when Justin Horton WR catch's 21 yard pass from Brandon Weeden and then on UW next series a marvelous pick by CB Andrae May who would take it to the house for a 49 yard TD to silence the 80,000 Huskie fans. End of the 3rd finds OSU up 21-14

4th QT OSU continues its strong play, and to huge plays seal the Victory for the Cowboys....Play 1, with 3:00 left Locker finds a streaking D Andre Goodwin, and the ball may have been slightly tipped by the OSU SS, but the ball falls through Goodwins hands which would have tied the score. On the same drive, the Huskies move the ball to the OSU 45, but on 3rd and 4th and 1 UW is stuffed . From there on it's all Kendall Hunter as he pounds the ball down to the one yard line, and with under 10 seconds the Weeden takes a knee to seal the victory.

Well, we can leave the advance til tommorow. He's obviously offline now, but keep in mind guys the next one won't be until I get off work tomorow at 10PM Eastern, when Ax and I can play our game.

Goat's usually only around at 730-8PM Eastern so hopefully tommorow your game can connect, if it can't we may have to leave it up to sim unfortunately.

well if the PSN keeps messing up for me I may have to replay my game that I am playing right now...

Ok something glitched on me...

I was in the 3rd overtime..and was tied 35-35...I held the CPU to a FG...so I was looking at at least a tie...well after they made their FG to take a 3 point lead...THEY get the ball back...im still down 38-35..but they retain posession...They run one play then the game ends....


I dont know what happend, but I am not taking a loss on this game for that crap...I need the commish to throw that game result out please...

I AM NOT MAKING THIS UP EITHER...but the game glitched on me..

I have heard about this glitch....the game needs to be thrown out...

also...has anyone noticed that when EA site post pictures of your game they don't have the correct uniform on, the play is accurate, really weird.....

I hope the majority will agree with you Chris and let the game be thrown out. I mean if I didnt want to lose I could had just used one of my restarts...but I didn't get a chance to even win it. If it makes it better, I will even take a restart for it...but the game glitched in OT...so if any of you guys get to that point in your game..be aware of what just happened to me...

Sucks, because this ruined a freaking awesome game...Cal is tough, and Vereen the RB is a beast...I was in a battle for sure, after holding a 14-3 lead into the mid 3rd quarter...

this has been an issue from Day 1...there is information on OS site about glitch.... unfortunately I think I even read that they aren't fixing on the patch either....to me this is a no brainier, and needs to be thrown out, and you shouldn't have to lose a restart over this EA BS....

yea with the new patch update I downloaded prior to playing I was thinking it wouldn't be an issue. I remember reading about it also at some point, when the game first released. But this is a major bummer, hopefully not too many games go into 3OT lol

I hate stuff like this...cause you will never be able to recreate the stats you put up or the type of game...not sure about you, but it bothers me having to recreate or replay games being lost to dropped internet or glitch issues...I'm sure K/Macc will throw out the results you have earned that respect imho.

yea the stats bother me some, but I don't think I had a huge day with anyone in particular. lol...I was just battling through the whole game. It was tough, which made it fun.

Well I am off to bed, hopefully I will check the OD tomorrow afternoon in between shifts and be able to play my game again.

I've seen a glitch where the ball is fumbled and everybody runs around trying to pick it up but nobody can. I tried for like 10 minutes to get the ball to go out of bounds but it didn't work, I just quit the game and said fuck thissss. This was in an offline OD, tho.

PS Buc, you stil have the Q4TB master account why didn't yo just throw it out?
