GOTW
#1 Ole Miss @ Arkansas
- I get my revenge at DMT for last years upset in Oxford. He put me on thin ice in terms of the SEC but thanks to some desperate scoreboard watching LSU pulled through and took Ark out of the post season picture after DMT left. Well, he's back and he better have a bag of tricks for this week because this will be a much improved Miss squad from last season.

#18 Penn State @ #14 Illinois
- Wins over Penn and Iowa could have Illi locked up for the Rose Bowl. Eddie McGee leading the team has just under 2000 yards allready this season and he's been developing a good connection with his favourite target, Cordale Scott. The two have hooked up for 8TDs this year.

#12 Cincinnati @ #20 WVU
- Clevmire's on a bit of a roll here as he travels to WVU to take on the EERs. Zach Collaros has been streaky but he looks to break the 2000 yard mark this game. The teams #1 RB Isaiah Pead is out with an injury so sophmore Darrin Williams will need to pick up the slack. A well balanced receiving corps gives the Bearcats the edge.

HEISMAN
1) WR James Rodgers OR ST - 12 Rec 300 yards 5 Total TD
2) RB Jacquizz Rodgers OR ST - 7 car 39 Yards 36 Receiving Yards
3) WR Bradley McDougald KU - 6 rec 49 yards
4) RB Brandon Bolden MISS - 21 car 74 yards 1TD 5 rec 74 yards 1TD
5) QB Kale Cooper KU - 8/17 75 Yards 20 Rushing Yards 1TD

2010 Week 11 Discussion NEW Empty
PostSubject: Re: 2010 Week 11 Discussion NEW   2010 Week 11 Discussion NEW EmptySat 09 Jan 2010, 4:48 am

The Rebels avenged last seasons loss to Arkansas this week 37-16 on Arkansas' home turf.

Behind big play from Brandon Bolden, the Rebels gutted out a win and had it wrapped up by the beginning of the fourth quarter. In what would turn out to be a defensive battle, the Razorbacks were able to manage only 201 yards of total offence, mainly through their passing attack.

"We knew Mallett would be prone to put up big numbers in such an important game. We knew their players would be out their flying making a play any time we gave them the opportunity to. Defensively, we got QUALITY games from some of our younger players, DT Shackelford our freshman MLB had a great game, always around the ball. He's really stepped it up for us. I think the game changing moment was Julian Whitehead our sophmore dimeback's interception after Ark forced Ray into throwing one. Ju's got some wheels and he had just the slight ammount of space infront of him and taking it back for six really kicked the third quarter off. I've always stressed the most important part of the game is the first possession in the second half. Well, we turned the ball over and gave Ark a lot of momentum that way so Julian picking that ball off really set the tempo and put it on our side," Coach Macc said.

Tray Talbot continues to impress, he managed only 56 yards receiving however accounted for the games first touchdown, a 37 yard improv route that Cotton put right in his hands, his only touchdown thrown today. The two have developed a great connection over the year and Tray's accounted for a lot of Ray's completions that he'll admit "weren't great balls".

Brandon Bolden's Heisman run season continues to improve, he lead his offence today having well over 200 yards of all purpose offence and three rushing scores on the day. Bolden broke his last years Ole Miss All-Time Season Rushing TD record and recorded his 14th, 15th and 16th rushing score... continuing to set the record books at Miss.

On other record news, Lawon Scott argueably the teams best defensive player whose having a monster season with 47 tackles, 17 TFL and 11 Sacks broke his last years Ole Miss Season Sacks record it is currently at 11 and Lawon will look to continue to add to that total throughout the rest of the season.

STATS
PASSING Ray Cotton 16-31 217 1TD 2INTs
RUSHING Brandon Bolden 25 Att 154 yards 3TDs
RECEIVING Brandon Bolden 6 rec 78 yards
Tray Talbot 3 rec 56 yards 1TD

No because it wasn't that file that was loaded. It was the file from before having played my Arkansas game. How the fuck is that shady? Everyone's entire W11 got thrown out.

Say I saved it after my Ark loss and loaded that one - everyone else would've got to replay their games... why shouldn't I? Plus it was K that did all the offline saving and reloading so it would've have had my first results in there anyways. You're just bitter clevmire, no need to try and drag me down with you.

#8 Oregon State hosted the 2-7 Arizona State Sundevils, and proceeded to throughly smash them, but not as bad as the first game I played, 35-10.SO QB Ryan Katz had another Tremendous day, breaking the school record for Touchdown tosses in a season, and the Rodgers boys took care of business once again. The Beavs also welcomed back senior starter OLB Dwight Roberson, from the injury list.
Offensive Standouts
QB R Katz 26-38 475yds 4TDs 2Ints
HB Quizz 31att 130yds 1TD 7rec 175yds 2TDs
POTGWR James 12rec 198yds 2TDs 1KR 31yds 5PR 36yds 7.2avg
TE Brady Camp 4rec 75yds
Defensive Standouts
LB K Pankey 10Tkls 2TFL
LB D Pa aluhi 10Tkls 2TFL
LB D Roberson 8Tkls 2TFL 2Sacks
S Pea 6Tkls 5TFL 3Sacks
Next up for the Beavs, a trip to Berkely California, to take on #17 Cal 7-1. Hopefully the Beavs can avenge another tough loss from last year, and show the Golden Bears that 2010 is indeed a different year.

i only say its shady..cuz you lost the first time...and we all won our original games...and about clev being bitter....he took a sim loss when he actually won the game...i can see where hes coming from...not sure i could take a loss if i indeed actually win....Goat is a much better man than I, for taking two sim losses

I'm confused?...so did Ole Miss lose to ARK when you played vs CPU or did you get a SIM L also Macc?...In regards to my game, since I won the first time vs UCLA, and no one got injured (expect Eschelman for just this game) if I happen to lose vs the CPU or one of my players get's injuried for 1 or more games I will restart it...is everyone fine with that?

yea scott that is cool I would think

I think that the original results should be honored.

Make sure you win your game, if you had won in the previous OD before we restarted.

Yeah that's fine. Sorry to have gotten anyones hopes up that I lost to Arkansas the first time but it didn't record my results when the new file was uploaded. Clevmire needs to think about what he says before he sends his replies sometimes he gets under my skin. As if I'd try to rig this so I remain #1. You really think that of me?

I'm cool with it...I kept my starters in the whole game, so I could try to replicate the original game..the first time I played I killed them way more...James had another TD...and my back up RB ran for 70something yards and a touchdown...this time he didnt even get a touch

Don't worry about stats and stuff guys, use a restart if you absolutely need to. I don't want to be seeing many "this game has been loaded three times" tho

i have never had a restart once...and I wouldnt wanna start now...I just feel...if you won your game you should definitely get a win...but restarting a bunch to do that seems cheesy to me....I understand if some of your key boys go down with injuries and stuff...Its a two way street...if we didnt have the first week play over...Quizz would have been lost for year.....so.....I guess...it is what it is...just know Macc...if you win the Ship...we might have to give you a Barry Bonds Asterisk*

i never said you were an asshole brother....Maybe we should make a new OD rule....if we do have to redo a week...(knock on wood we never have to again)....that the original result must be retained...no matter the score
