| GOTW
#6 Oregon State @ #8 Cincinnati - I don't think this user match-ups went down yet... OR ST QB Ryan Katz out another 8 weeks, senior James Butler will take the snaps and I look for a HEAVY pass rush from AA DT Derek Wolfe, ROLB Walter Stewart and LE Joe Robinson. Cincinnati's lineup looks very solid and their offence is lead by QB Zach Collaros who has yet to make a turnover this season. The Beavers without the Rodgers Brothers now rely on RB Jovan Stevenson to make big plays and Ryan McCants looks to be like their goalline back. Coach Clevmire has stated his team has the best receiving corps in the nation, that's all here say but I guess we'll see how things play out. I wouldn't sleep on the Beavers receiving corps, we know they can pass - having won numerous awards and a Heisman WR last season. Don't sleep on Markus Wheaton, Jordan Bishop or Demetrius Morris. Should be a good game. I give the edge to Cinci by 4 just how dominating their team looks.
#19 Kansas @ #4 LSU - We've just gotten word that Kansas brought it to Top 5 LSU, 49-30. The Jayhawks took one in Death Valley despite giving up over 100 yards rushing. This will certainly improve the Kansas BCS standing and really shake things up for all other teams behind LSU.
#12 TCU @ #21 Penn State - The TNT boys have a tough task in Happy Valley. We know that there's tons of linebacker heritage in Penn State but recently they've been a bit shy in that department. I suspect TCU makes this non GOTW worthy and blows them wide open.
#2 North Carolina @ #9 Iowa - Uhoh. This offseason there was some talk that the Tarheels had they got into the NC could've really posed a threat. We'll see how this one plays out, it should be a good one. I give NC the edge by 5.
HEISMAN
WR Bradley McDougald (KU) - 11 rec, 114Yds, 3TD.
RB Brandon Bolden (MISS) - FF, 16 car for 83 yards, 3TD 11 rec, 113 yards.
RB Michael Tucker (TCU) - 25 car, 252 yards 4TD.
QB Kale Cooper (KU) - 20/31 390 yards 6 Total TD.
RB Nate Johnson - 31 car, 283 yards 3TD. - First time we've seen Nate in here. True Freshman RB with obviously terrific speed, his durability has been yet to be put to the test but he looks like the Hawkeyes #1 back.

| Kansas takes care of LSU. I gotta find some run defense cause omg if LSU can run for 100 and change think about what TCU will do.... | |

| Thanks Mississippi State vs Auburn Wow, what a way to start off the SEC season, as the Bulldawgs of MSU visited Jordan Hare Stadium....1st qt was good old fashion D, but Auburn was able to put up 7 on a JR HB B Jackson 1 yd TD run set up by an fumble recovery by the Tiger D. In the 2nd qt FR QF T Parrish hooked up with D Adams for a 9 yd TD as time expired for the half...HalftimeMSU 0Auburn 14 2nd half notes...both team put up 7 as Parrish is picked off for a pick 6 by MSU W Bonner and Auburn answer back with a B Jackson 3 yd TD run....21-7 heading to the 4th....MSU offence catch's fire puting up a 25 TD pass from Russell to Bumpis, and then with under a minute in the game drives 80 yards for a game tying 10 yard Russell pass to Heavens....we are tied at 21 with 54 seconds...but an eratic T Parrish lays out two great balls to get Auburn to the 6 yard line 2 TO left, and hand off to Jackson gets them down to the one...and not risking it, Coach Harbaugh send out the FG fror a game winning 18 yard FG...Kickoff is stuffed, and the Tigers escape with a victory to go 2-0! Final ScoreMSU 21Auburn 24Final StatsPassing T Parrish 19-32 239 1 TD 3 INT Rushing B Jackson JR 22-39 2 TD Receiving P Pierre Lous 5-80 0 TD Tackles S Adams 10 Solo D Ford 7 Solo 4 Sacks

| Maryland dropped their first game under new head coach Jeff Hickerson on Saturday in what may go down as the game of the year at the end of the season. Miami defeated the Terps 51 to 48 in a triple overtime thriller. The game was back and forth the entire time. Miami held a 14 to 12 halftime lead after Maryland failed to convert on a 2 point conversion late in the first half. Miami kicked a field goal with 40 seconds remaining on the clock after a Caleb Porzel 8 yard run had just tied it up. This gave Miani a 3 point lead but gave Maryland the ball with 40 seconds left. Maryland took advantage of their opportunity and got to a little past midfield for a 55 yard field goal attempt. Kick was perfect. In overtime Miami took the ball first. The Terps had them stopped and looking for a field goal just to get 3 points but a costly offside penalty kept the drive alive. Miami capitalized and scored a touchdown to go up 7. Maryland came back and tied the game on 1 play on a 25 yard run by Meggett. Double overtime led to Maryland scoring on a 21 yard swing pass to Caleb Porzel, however Miami answered. Third overtime, Miami would have the ball first and score on a big 18 yard touchdown pass from Harris to Byrd, however the two point try was failed. Maryland had an opportunity, would they seize it? Miami said no to that and stopped Maryland on a 4th down try from the 5 yard line and that was all she wrote. Game of the year nominee, no doubt! | |

dang titan...sounds like an awesome game....props to you for taking the loss, even though it must have been heartbreaking for ya lol. From the sound of it, Maryland is close to to reaching the point where they wanted at the beginning of the season

| That's a tough matchup against THE U. I'm sure Marylands Coach Contract isn't too strict and I bet you will gain some school prestige by the end of this season... | |
