| Oh damn sorry I totally forgot!
#2 UNC vs #4 Georgia Tech
- While everyone else has bird match-ups Goat's put to the test early in ACC competition against the #4 ranked GT. His starting QB Bryn Renner has thrown for 3000 yards both of the past two seasons and he has by far the best WR targets in the entire nation this year. Offensive captain AJ Blue is the emotionally charged speedy back who can do it all and Goat should have another NC title run just based on his roster allready.

| Not even going to do a write up. I played FCS Southeast LOL.
Won 48-0
I Super Simmed 3 quarters worth. And Timmons only had 9 carries, but over 100 yards. I only ran 1 time with him. LOL. All the rest was simmed.
Backup RB Bryant carried 22 times.
Timmons scored 5 TD's, I only scored one my self. He scored 4 in the first quarter, then I mass subbed my offense. He still got a TD late in the game, when I simmed. Not sure how, maybe my backup RB went down for a few plays. Because I only have 2 healthy ones right now.
Not a fun game to play. lol. So I am done with this week.
p.s. HOLY CRAP- I just looked at my contract thing on my coaches page. I have two items to do this season "Win Big 12 Title" and "Win National Title" .....I better not lose a star if I don't do either, because that is tough this season. I have to play ax, and I probably wont even get a shot to defend my title, becasue I started out ranked so low. Gayyy

| The #5 Oregon State Beavers defeated the Arizona State Sundevils today,37-21. The Beavs were up big early but those pesky SunDevils just refused to be put down. The Beavs lost their 2nd string TE to a season ending collarbone injury, The beavs depth at TE is quite a concern for Coach 9's. Katz was steady, and so was the groundgame lead by Marable. The Beavs secondary was swarming, intercepting three passes Offensive Standouts QB R Katz 15-23 231yds 2TDs 1Int POTG HB M Marable 36att 138yds 2TDs HB J Lane 9att 36yds 1TD WR M Wheaton 7rec 137yds 2TDs WR D Morris 4rec 56yds Defensive Standouts LB S Gates 6Tkls 1TFL 1Sack LB R Robinson 4Tkls 2TFL 1SFTY SS A Watkins 4Tkls 2Ints DE A Seumalo 4Tkls 1TFL CB/S J Poyer 3Tkls 1Int Next up for the #5 Beavs, the Miners of UTEP. | |

| The Maryland Terrapins opened their 2012 campaign with a convincing win over previous unbeaten Temple 49-3. The Owls lone points came in the first quarter while Maryland used a 28 point second period to end any chances or hopes the Owls had. The Terps had a very balanced attack offensively on the day, 465 total offensive yards - 259 on the ground and 206 through the air. New quarterback Danny O'Brien didnt have the best of outings statistically but played a pretty solid ball game according to coach Hickerson, "Danny did all we asked him to do in his first career start, nothing more, nothing less. He threw two interceptions, yea, but they werent poorly thrown balls. They were balls thrown while he was being hit, he is gonna have to learn to get rid of it quicker, or hold onto it when he feels the pressure coming, then at the same time, we gotta work on giving him more time." O'Brien finished the day 15 for 24 with 202 yards, 1 touchdown, and two interceptions, which as Coach Hickerson said, were on balls he let go of while he was being hit and ended up being picked off by defensive lineman actually both times. Junior Caleb Porzel who is getting the starting nod this season had a big day while putting up player of the game number, 14 carries for 147 yards and 4 touchdowns. Backup RB Gary Douglas had a good day as well, only getting 6 carries but running for 111 yards as he broke a 60 yard run for a touchdown early in the 4th quarter. Freshman QB Donnie Meyer, who coach Hickerson has stated will be used as Tim Tebow was to Chris Leak during the Florida Gators 2006 national championship season had 3 carries on the day for -6 yards, however he did get in the endzone one a two yard option keeper. Freshman wide out Cory Schroeder showed why he was so highly touted coming out of high school posting 4 catches for 71 yards. It appears it will be hard for corners to bring down Schroeder by themseves this season after the catch.
The Terps defense looked spectacular today. They held the Owls to only 119 yards of total offense and forced 5 turnovers, all interceptions. Two of which by freshman Perry Hall who looked very impressive in his first appearance by also leading the team in tackles with 8 and 1 pass break up on the day. Junior Tom Mangum, and sophomores Anthony Heinz and Nick Thomas had the other 3 interceptions on the day. The Terps defense also had 3 sacks on the day including 1 by freshman Jared Golden and 1 by pre season all american AJ Francis.
Next week the Terps travel to Death Valley where they will take on currently number 14 Clemson.

| Kansas starts there 2012 campaign against Rice at home. The defense this year returns the 3 headed monster in super ss Thomas,DE Bishop and Rolb Jackson.. and crafty vet squad on d.. this season for kasnas is going to boil down to how good the defense is after the offense was rocked with devastation with Cooper and a host of other head for the NFL.. They have a tru freshman starting at qb and are hoping that he is good enough to just manage the game and let the 90 rated rs freshman running back ed mcintire(ya the kid i signed last year is a 90 and a rs fresh!!!!!!) and lighting in jr Bradley can lead this team to victory week in and week out. However fr charles had a diffrent opinion on how this season would play out for him after playing 3 quarters and racking up over 300 yds and a few td passes.. but the game was dominated by defense and the running game as mcintire is a beast catching for 172 yards and running for 180 and 3 tds.. Bradley helped as well running fro close to 100 and 2 tds himself.. mcdougald didnt do much 5 catches 136 2 tds.. final score 76-0.. | |
