| Week 8 is up without any problems or malfunctions.
Biggg user match-up the battle of the brothers where Coach Phillips is now at his new school!
#5 Ohio State @ #4 Iowa - This is always a crazy match-up and no two coaches in this league know eachother like Coach Phillips and Coach Kooken. I think Coach K has the leg-up on his older brother in law but they've both said this match-up is always about breaking their own tendencies and keeping the other off guard. I've got to give the edge to Iowa in this one only because he's four years deep in recruiting his team but you can never count Coach Phillips out!!!
HEISMAN 5
QB Tanquary Parrish AUBURN - Parrish has exploded onto the scene this year averaging 350 yards per game with 26 touchdowns and 5 INTs. Parrish has given the War Eagles their passing option they've been waiting for and Coach Harbaugh sorta broke his mould this season by switching to a more passing-dominant style of play calling that Parrish is certainly benefitting from. If he keeps his intercpetions low and his production up - Parrish could be in for some serious hardware by years end.
RB Marc Payne MISSISSIPPI - Payne has picked up right where he left off of his freshman Heisman season, leading his team to a victory over Oregon State last week with 161 yards rushing and 3TDs. Payne has 893 yards on the season with 12 TDs and is running the ball great - averaging 127 yards per game but he could really benefit from improving his receiving numbers.
WR Jamie Ivey ILLINOIS - Jamie Ivey is the monster looking wide-out whose argueably the most dedicated player in the country. Jamie has worked extremely well at improving his route-running ability and made himself a terrific threat catching the ball with his size and new ability to get open. Ivey has 750 yards receiving and 10TDs this year in a very pass-happy offence over at Illinois.
RB Troy Curry NORTH CAROLINA - Nobody would've thought last years leading DB in the recruiting class would've been turned running back but Coach Goat did just that. Troy Curry has been the feature back for the Tarheels and he's ran for 352 yards this season with 8TDs but the real reason he's been on the H5 list is due to his ability in the receiving game, catching 25 passes but stretching them for 432 yards (a 17.3 YPC avg) for 5 scores. Curry is one of the fastest on the field at all times and he's proving to be quite the versatile athlete.

| The #16 Oregon State Beavers rebounded from their bitter defeat last week, and beat the Arizona State Sunddevils, 42-21. Freshman Star in the making QB Ryan Gates was lost today with a broken toe, which should keep him out of action for 3 weeks. RS-JR Sean Mannion played ok in his stead, but the Beavs and Coach 9's pray for Gates speedy recovery. | Illinois 44 Michigan 25
Illinois Defense has not been on the same page this season. The Illini lost 22 seniors last season and 8 were starters on the defense. The media has hit the team hard asking what happened to the Illinois mean and tough Defense. Well today they showed up. On the very first possession the SR CB Joelil Thrash snatched a int out of the air to give the Illini the ball. The next time the Defense got on the field Freshman CB James Henderson who is the Nickle back took a int to the house on a 44 yard return. " I had a talk with the Defense and they knew what they had to come out and do. Even though we have a bunch of young guys on the Defense i expect excellence." Said coach Kelly. The offense had a better day as well. for the first time this season QB Nathan Scheelhaase didn't throw a INT. He went 17 for 27 for 298 yards and 4 TDS. All American WR Jamie Ivey caught 5 balls for 158 yards and 3 TDS. Back up RB Freshman Curtis O'Neill had 13 carries for 91 yards and a TD. The Fighting Illini are happy to be back on track. After their big lost to Cincinnati 59-7. The Illini have turned their season around with 4 straight wins. The Illini are off to Minnesota next week to face the Golden Gophers

| Rebels Slam Door SHUT On Alabama 42-0!
The Bama D did a good job of keeping Marc Payne in check until his 4th quarter scamper of 49 yards occured. In what would prove to be Coach Macc's most brilliant preformance on defence to date, the Alabama Crimson Tide are in a state of depression being shutout in Oxford, dropping to 2-5 on the season and the school is quickly becoming a lookout target for a new head coach as Coach Saban just isn't getting the job done anymore. The player of the game would be CB Daniel Breedlove who hauled in FOUR (yes FOUR!) interceptions on the afternoon, shutting down and hurting the Bama Offence ANY time the ball was thrown their star wideout Patrick Slaughters way. Slaughter, a familiar face who tore up the Rebels defence in their last meeting despite getting the narrow victory 38-24 in Bama. Breedlove's interception in the dying seconds of the game was returned 31 yards for the score and was the dagger through the heart of the Crimson Tide, Saban didn't even make it to mid-field to shake Coach Macc's hand. "We've certainly got their number, that's for sure. It's tough to see a great program go on such a bad run but by the looks of things it certainly could open up a good job in the near future for this league. I told Danny, just make sure Slaughter doesn't burn us and the kid promised me two picks today... two turned into four fast because their QB seemed to think the experts we're stupid and threw the ball Danny's way PLENTY," Coach Macc said. Marc Payne carried the ball 33 times this afternoon for 153 yards, most of his yardage coming in the fourht quarter on a 49 yard scamper that nearly went for six. The Bama safety caught him at the 1 yard line and he would later punch it in. Payne also added 6 receptions for 72 yards to his Heisman Resume. Shaun Chambers is emerging as a playmaker despite the 2 interception preformance. He threw 23/36 for 355 yards and 3TDs today hitting TE Tez Bradley, WR Ja Mes Logan and WR Pat Patterson each for scores. The teams leading receiver, WR Trey Talbot has been sidelined for 3 weeks after his 27 yard 1st Q lone reception resulted in a strained pectoral muscle. Chambers seems confident using all of his receiving corps however, not leaning to any one receiver instead looking and finding the open man.

| LOL..this game is a joke sometimes.
Iowa downs Ohio State 45-28.
Tie it up on the first play of the 4th quarter 21-21.
Iowa then proceeds to score 14 points in lestt than 30 seconds. Long bomb pass, my star RB fumbles the ensuing kickoff and its returned for a TD. 42-21 just like that.
Iowa adds a late meaningless TD with 30 seconds left. A little brotherly love I suppose.
I dont understand how my star players F things up in a game, but other impact players against whomever I play I can't get them to do jack shit.
Whatever. Lets Advance
