| Auburn takes care of biz, even if it wasn't pretty, struggle at home to hold off Alabama 24-14 to stay unbeaten as they head into the biggest game of the season facing national champions North Carolina on the road next week...
*Side note, pretty much don't see how QB Tanquary Parrish can win the Hiesman...last week he was 3rd but dropped to 4th after only throwing for 250 yards and 5 TD LOL, this week he will probable drop out of the top 5 with his horrific performance of 22-35 275 3 TD 3 INT...my money is on tOSU J Berry...

| Senior running back Caleb Porzel sets school record for rushing yards in single season as Terps roll the Wolfpack 45 to 29
This one wasnt even as close as the score shows it was as the Terps dominated the entire game, the Wolfpack got a defensive touchdown on a fumble and a garbage touchdown as time was winding down late in the fourth quarter. The story of the day was Caleb Porzel and his attempt to get a last minute invite to the Heisman ceremony. Porzel set a new school record for rushing yards in a season by any Maryland tailback with 1637 yards thus far on the season. Porzel went over 200 yards for the second week in a row as he carried the ball 21 times and ran for 220 yards on the ground. He found the endzone 4 times on the ground. Porzel also had 5 catches for 55 yards and 4 kick returns for 221 yards. He also took one of those all the way to the house.
Next up the Terps wrap up their season at West Virginia before meeting up with North Carolina in the ACC championship for the 3rd time in as many seasons.

| Ohio State defends home field against Rival Michigan, with a 42-28 victory:
Columbus, OH--- They always say in a rivalry game, and one such as this especially, that you can throw out the records when these two teams meet. Well, that statement lived up to its billing as the Horseshoe was on it's toes most of the game, finding the hated Wolverines up at half 21-14. The talented Bucks, spurred by the Silverbullets led a great second half, to run away with a 42-28 victory.
Things seemed a bit shaky for the #4 team in the nation in the first half, finding itself in a huge battle, which was to be expected, in the first half. A turnover in the redzone, followed by a hot Ken Graham throwing the ball around for the Wolves, kept the Bucks and their fans nervous for the first half. Holding a 21-14 lead heading into the locker room.
"We knew this was going to be a huge battle. In a game of this magnitude you don't expect anything but their best effort despite what their recrod may show. We got hit in the mouth this first half of play, it's time to see what we are made of"..Coach Phillips tells Erin Andrews as he walked to the locker room
The Bucks got the message loud and clear in the locker room, as seniors and underclassmen alike would not let Senior Day be spoiled by that team up North, as Columbus folks refer to their hated rivals.
The second half was ignited by the Silverbullets, who made great adjustments. CB Johnson, and CB Corey Brown each pitched in a pick 6 for the defense, and Jamaal Berry got rolling as the Buckeyes showed their might holding the Wolverines to 7 second half points, while rolling up 28 points.
"We would not allow ourselves to feel sorry for the way the first half went, us seniors knew what we had to do, and our defense got it going" Star LB Dorian Bell states--
Heisman Hopeful Jamaal Berry racked up 170 yards rushing, and 2TD to lead the offense.
Now that the season is off, the Bucks will have a long layoff and see where the chips may fall for them. A BCS at-large birth is very possible, with an outside shot of a BCS Nat. Title game.

| With the pac 10 title on the line next week as well as maybe a shot at the nc.. The oregon ducks were lookin ahead to the game with oregon state..but this is college football and u have to take every team serious and UCLA wanted to be the team that crashed oregons party not oregon state.. the question is would they? Before we give u a full recap of the game let us say this first.. it was an ESPN Instant Classic with a score of 1572! !!! Now on to the recap... It was a snowy day and the Autzen Zoo was packed but ppl couldn't help but to bundle up and take it easy in the snow.. The ducks would win the toss and elect to receive the ball at the half..The defense took the field and that swag that we are used to seeing Oregon play with idk it just wasnt there.. UCLA marched the ball right down the field and the defense eventually would force them to kick a fg and they would miss. Hawkins and the Ducks would make the ucla defense look like they werent even on the field going 3 plays and a 75 yard bomb to the te love and take the early lead 7-0. The rest of the quarter would be dominated by the defenses and the first would end with the ducks only ahead by 7. The ducks would drive to start the second and howard would walk one in from 1 yard out 14-0 Ducks. There would be a few defensive stops but then eventually oregon would drive again and punch in another on a pass to griffin and it would be 21-0 Ducks. UCLA would get the ball and finally thier offense started to show up and they would finally get on the board 21-7 Ducks. Towards the end of the half Burg would intercept UCLA and then fumble giving them great field position and they would sneak in a fg before the half making it 21-10 at the half. After the half On the first play hawkins would fumble and ucla would recover and take it for a td.. 21-17 Ducks. The UCLA Defense would force a stop and then the offense would drive again and score 24-21 UCLA.. But the ducks would answer right back and take back the lead 28-24... UCLA d would shut Oregon o down the rest of the quarter and the offense would score again before the end of the quarter making it 31-28 UCLA. The ducks starting to feel like it would be a game made quick work of getting down the field and punching in another td to retake the lead 35-31. But UCLA wasnt ready to go away. The would drive and score again 38-35. then force the Oregon offense off the field and march and score again to up 45-35 UCLA. then on the next drive Hawkins would throw a pick as he took a shot UCLA would take advantage of that turnover and with momentum on thier side would drive and score again to go up even more but they would miss the extra point in the cold and the score would be 51-35 with 2:20 left in the fourth.."I told our guys we weren't done and we needed to look into ourselves and find that swag if we wanted to win. we looked pass ucla even i did and we were paying for it but it was a book where they wrote 3/4 of the book and made us look horrible in it but we could write the ending.. and we just needed to take it one play at a time" Coach Santana. An inspiring speech but would be enough to motivate his team enough to come back down by 16 with a lil over 2 min left.. Back to the game On the first play from scrimmage http://www.easports.com/media/play/video/17373803 Mr.Efficient would complete a beautiful pass to Cantu and he would scamper 73 yards for the td. Oregon would elect to go for 2 and would get it. 51-43 UCLA with 2:05 left in the game. They could kick it deep here and get the stop but at some point they would need either a turnover or an onside kick... http://www.easports.com/media/play/video/17373790 They would attempt the onside and GET It!!!!! Hawking would get knocked out after the first play on the drive and leave the game. the back up would come in and move the ball down the field quickly saving time outs by spiking and hook up with Jackson and the ducks would only be 2 points away from tieing up the game. and again it was howard with sheer will power getting them the 2 and tieing up the game at 51 a piece... UCLA however wasnt thinking over time they were thinking win and would throw the ball 3 times in a row completing non and would punt the ball but after a penalty on the return Oregon would start on thier own 2 yard line with 41 seconds left to go... and rather than show u.. we will let u watch it..... http://www.easports.com/media/play/video/17373852Thats right.. Howard would go 98 yards for the td and take the lead with only moments left in the game 58-51 Oregon and the defense would give them nothing forcing them to go four and out and put the offense on the field to kneel it out!!!!!!! OREGON WINS!!!! "Best win of my career i mean what more can i say we need everything to go right and everything did.. what more can i say? It was a full team effort it took almost every player on our team to get this one" Santana.. Yes it did take every one... Qb Hawkins 16/36 359 and 5td Hb Howard 13 att 209 yards 2 td Wr Jackson 7 receptions 110 yards 1 td TE Love 4 rec 116 yards 2td WR Cantu 2 rec 83 yards 2td FS Burg 11 tackles 1 int DE Payne 6 tackles 5 tfl 4 sacks The dont get to enjoy this victory long tho next week they take on a talented and fierce oregon state team on the road....(well down the street) in the Civil War.. GO DUCKS!!! | |

I don't mean to sound like a ninny, but I think it's gonna be real tough to get past Goat on the road...if I had money to put down, would say it's Oregon vs Iowa for natty champ, hope I'm wrong.
