| The #13 Oregon State Beavers took out their frustrations on the Kansas Jayhawks tonight, in the Pacific Holiday Bowl, 37-6. Young QB Gates struggled throughout the game, luckily Jamar Lane dominated on the ground, averaging 7.7 yards a carry. The Beavers have alot to look forward to in 2014! | Ohio State Rolls Georgia Tech in the Grandaddy Of Them All 35-14:
Pasadena, CA-- It was good to be back to some old stomping grounds for Buckeye Fans, as the Rose Bowl eluded the proud Buckeye fans and players for several years. On this day, the Silverbullets and fans made the most of the trip to California bye playing a well-prepared and disciplined game against the Yellow-Jackets triple option attack. GT only managed 162 yards on the ground on 56 carries, as the Silverbullets manhandled the defensive front. The Offense was led by WR James Jackson who goes out with a boom at Ohio State, catching 7 balls for 117 yards and 3TD's. Jamaal Berry had a solid day as well rushing for 113 yards and 1 TD. Coach Phillips was very p leased with the victory and the season as a whole. But cautioned fans to be optimistic but realistic next year, as the Bucks lose alot of key players. However.."winning makes everything better", and this 2013 season sure felt good for the Buckeye faithful. Next year is a new year and you can guarantee that expectations will be high, with a solid recruiting class coming in, Coach Phillips and the Bucks looks forward to the challenge.

| great game gGang....very tense....fun game Final Score Auburn 26 Illini 14
Auburn jumps out to a 3 point lead to end 1st qt 3-0...2nd qt Parrish hooks up with J Blake on a 5 yd TD pass to go up 10-0...but Illini put together a great drive to end half, and a gutsy call with 0:05 on the clock hook up for a 7 yd TD pass fromScheelhaase to Ivey to end the half
Half Time Auburn 10 Illini 7
3rd QT Auburn puts a nice drive together but tough Illini D make them settle for a 28 yd FG...end of the third 13-7
4th QT Auburn SR RB D Aycock caps of a great season, carrer with a 58 yd TD run to put Auburn up 19-7 after the 2 point converssion is no good...Illini roar back and Ivery and Scheelhaase hook up again for 47 yard to get them back in striking distance at 19-14...Auburn seal the game on a 2nd Aycock TD run of 2 yd with 0:52 to push the score to 26-14 which would be the final.
Final Stats Auburn Passing T Parrish 14-23 160 1 TD 0 INT Rushing D Aycock 20-173 2 TD Receiving J Blake 5-46 1 TD Tackles H Gaston 7 Solo 1 TFL
ILLINOIS N Scheelhaase 16-32 218 2 TD 3 INT Rushing D Sims 9-21 0 TD Receiving J Ivey 4-67 2 TD Tackles M Richards 12 Solo 1 TFL

| Auburn is a well coached team and i got nothing but respect for them. We had our chance to make move but we didnt. This was a hard season for us after the embarrassing lost to Cincy at the start of the season. It just seemed as if my team had given up. But they continued to fight and we ended the Season 9-4. I'm Proud of my guys for all the hard work and the effort they put in. To the 6 Seniors who are leaving this year. I just wanted them to look back all all they accomplished in their time here. Two Rose Bowl wins and 2 Conference Champs and 2 undefeated seasons. At the end of the day im sure they will be able to hang their hat and walk out of Illinois University with their heads held high. With 6 seniors leaving we can only get better next season. We are a young team that has great potential to be great. I'm looking forward to coming back next season and bringing the Fighting Illini back to the top. | |

| Man Goat SMOKED me. I wasn't having fun for one minute the entire game. He had like 5INTs, would just pick off EVERYTHING! I felt the Home field advantage - which sucks coz it SHOULD have been turned off but regardless I don't stand a CHANCE against any of the bigdogs in this OD and Goat is certainly one of them. His defence was unreal. I think I averaged negative yardage rushing the ball and the picks THE PICKS! So frustrating! I'd see one on one coverage, I'd go to lob it up high and deep to give my guy a shot to run it down, Goat would switch to the CB at the last second and intercept it like my QB put it RIGHT in his hands SO many times when I had a nice window and I swear I used enough pressure to get it there. Ahh frustrating, embarassing loss for my boys to end the season. Starting to think I need out of the SEC. | |

Maryland sends seniors out in style with bowl victory
The Marylabd Terrapins picked up their first Chick Fil a Bowl victory after reaching the bowl game the last 2 years, the third time was a charm. The Terps beat the South Carolina Gamecocks 34-14. The bowl victory was the first for Terps head coach Jeff Hickerson, "it feels great, it really does, to kinda get the monkey off our back here at Maryland, now we gotta get the ACC title monkey off our back."
Senior running back and team leader and MVP Caleb Porzel ended his career a little more early than planned. He was injured early in the 3rd quarter and was not able to return. He got his damage in before then however, running for 51 yards on 14 carries and 1 touchdown. It was also fitting he returned a kick for a touchdown in his final career collegiate game. "It wasnt no fun sittin on the sideline over there in the 2nd half watchin my boys play, but hey they got the job done... I wish I could have been more of a part of it, but it shows a lot about the future of the program when someone like myself can go down, and they step their game up and pull out a big victory," said Porzel. Speaking of the future it looks bright, redshirt freshman running back who everyone expects to the starter come next fall had 78 yards on 10 carries after Porzel went down. Sophomore wide out Cory Schroeder also had 6 or 7 catches for about 80 yards and a touchdown.
The questions leading up to next season will revolve around the quarterback, can Donnie Meyer throw the ball accurately enough to be the Terps quarterback, or will Coach Hickerson find someone else to come in and lead the offense?
