the most satisfying loss of my career.. a tight fought game till the end.. my qb threw 4 pics on the day but u kno what ea let me and bucc play it was fun.. Congrats to the buckeyes.. final score 38-31.. i lost the best wr in the game early and it showed i think he went down in the second and he already had 70 yards reciving i couldnt find a go to guy in the air not that i needed to my rb ran for like 235 and 3 td.. lol but it was good fun.. the ducks are gonna be a dangerous team next year.. my qb settles down my rb was out all year so he willl be back in full form dj gets a lil older it was a young team look out for us next year!!!

I'll do a write up..but yea that was a wacky game. My QB and RB were turning the ball over early when I was ready to step on Oregon's throat up 14-0...then he came roaring back.
That was a crazy game..but fun!

Ohio State wins a nail-biter in the 2014 Rose Bowl 38-31
This was an instant classic BCS bowl, in a matcup of new coaches and new teams, but too familiar as the two head coaches have met several times in the Big 12. "We knew this was gonna be a barn-burner, we are real familiar with each other, and it was gonna come down to who makes more plays"..Coach Phillips says.
This game had it all, momentum swings, big defensive plays, big offensive plays..and anything else you could think of. It was one of those games that didn't deserve a loser.
The first quarter didn't have a feel of a classic, as Ohio State behind the Silverbullets got 14 points without their offense even touching the ball..Shane Wynn, and Doran Grant both grabbed INT's and ran for 6..Doran Grant the SR SS Int was huge as Oregon was driving the ball being down 7-0...His ball skills, and YAC was amazing on this play (Shown Below)
That didnt stop the Ducks from making a game, down by 14 it was their defense who led the charge forcing 3 straight turnovers and gaining 10 pints back to trail only 14-10 at halftime. Ohio State did not have a drive with more than 5 plays in the second quarter.
The second half is where the game turned into a wacky and fun classic. As big plays were the name of the game, mostly by the Ducks. RB Howard for the webfoots found his game, as Coach Santana found a huge hole in the middle of the defense and scored 3 times of runs over 60 yards. "That was an impressive display of vision and power, that Howard had" Coach Phillips says in a frustrating tone.
However, when the game got tight, the level-minded Phillips rallied his troops and calmly moved the offense with a balanced attack, not trying to force anything, every time the Ducks tied the game, the Buckeyes led a drive to pull ahead. It was the final drive tied 31-31 where that cool-minded philosophy paid off, as the Bucks ran 3:00 off the clock and scored the go ahead TD with 1:40 left..on the ensuing Oregon drive a INT by Playmaker FS Herron made the final blow, as the time would run out on the 2014 Rose Bowl, sending the Seniors out with back-to-back Rose Bowl Championships.
"These seniors faced alot of adversity during their tenure here, with a coaching change, and lack of success early on..I am so proud of these guys, and the tone they set for the young guys coming back....We have something special brewing here"

yea it was a fun game both ways. I don't think the game turned any "one" way the entire time..we each had crazy plays, and frustrating ones, each had some big time plays.
I would have been ok with that loss. At least for awhile lol

Iight I'll go advance it right now. I lost to Cinci in the Sugar Bowl 45-35. I played 3/4 of the game without my starting QB and back-up RB who also takes the ball about 15 times a game on average so I was forced into passing with a young, inexperienced QB and he threw a couple picks when I'd get something going. Clevmire's recruited the hell outta that team, RB Justin Petty would NOT be tackled. Seriously, I'd have hit him with four different players hit stick style and he'd just rumble down the sideline for 6. TOUGH loss.
