| the #9 Oregon State Beavers defeated the Arizona Wildcats today, 41-13. Junior Running Back Jamar Lane was the Star of the game, running for 175 yards and three rushing touchdowns. Gates was steady and completed 58% of his passes, while tossing two TD's and again not turning the ball over. Before the game, Coach 9's was a bit choked up, as he had just learned that old-time party buddy, and former child star Corey Haim, had finally succombed to his addictions and overdosed. Honorary team captain Corey Feldman gave the pregame speech to the team, and let me tell you brothers...there wasnt a dry eye in the place. The Beavers motto for the rest of the season....Dream a little dream of me! Coach 9's has dubbed his Triple headed rushing beast "The Lost Boys" as well, and Coach 9's has given them a license to drive. Offensive Standouts QB R Gates 14-24 190yds 2TDs POTG HB J Lane 33att 175yds 3TDs 1rec 7yds HB M Marable 7att 50yds HB C Watkins 7att 25yds 2KR 56yds 28avg 3PR 20yds 6.6avg TE R Young 5rec 53yds WR D Morris 4rec 78yds TE J Lawrence 2rec 23yds 1TD WR E Baker 1rec 19yds 1TD Defensive Standouts LB D Welch 10Tkls 1TFL DE J Johnson 6Tkls 2TFL 2Sacks FS W Storey 6Tkls 1TFL LB S Gates 4Tkls 2TFL 2Sacks DT H Iona 4Tkls 3TFL 1Sack CB S Butler 2Tkls 1Int Next up for the #9 Beavs (5-0)(2-0), A road trip to LA LA Land to take on the struggling Trojans of Southern California. They are still a A- team so Coach 9's will have his team prepared...and dont forget Coach 9's controversial post game quote"Dream a little dream of me motherfuckers!!!! attack that Beaver!....um, yeah....I mean Beavers Attack!!!" | |

| The #8 Georgia Bulldogs hosted Vanderbilt this afternoon and came away with a 42-21 victory. Senior running backs Chris Wade and Malicah Dawson lead the rushing attack of the Bulldogs and really were the only offensive sparks in this afternoons game, each recording three rushing scores. Wade took the majority of the hand offs carrying the ball 27 times for a whopping 248 yards. A vast majority of his yardage came through in the first half where Vanderbilt would not let up and continued to pressure the Bulldog defence. Dawson recorded 40 yards on 11 carries for 3TDs and most of his carries came out of the Wildcat motion or near the goalline. Dawson also nearly recorded another kick return for a TD but finished the game with 91 yards returning as well to cap off a 100+ all purpose yard game for him. Ben Baldwin has emerged as the teams playmaker on defence today recording 16 TACKLES!! 5TFL, 2 sacks. Despite Baldwins average college defence size, he plays all over the field at safety and linebacker and just MADE PLAYS today. Rory Thatcher continues his slump, only throwing 9/22 for 121 yards 0TDs and 1INT. It's obvious Coach Macc has shifted the offensive focus to the rushing attack throughout the year and it will be heavily depended on throughout the rest of the year.
OPOTG Chris Wade 27 carry 248 yards 3TDs Malicah Dawson 11 carry 40 yards 3TDs Jeremy Brown 2 catches 49 yards
DPOTG Ben Baldwin 16 tackles 5TFL 2sacks Ryan Sharper 9 tackles 2TFL 1sack RE Todd Bailey 7 tackles 2TFL 2sacks LE Matt Wesley 6 tackles 5TFL 2sacks | |

| Played a close one with CAL my qb play sometimes is super fustrating the fact that he throws the ball into la la land is killing me.. 3 picks for him in the game and that now puts him at 12 on the season. The part that makes me mad is i cant stop him from throwing them.. if i lead he throws it to the saftey if i dont he throws it under and gets jumped i cant win with this dude.. and i kno ur lookin at his stats and going how am i complaining but trust me if u watched it for 4 quarters u would understand.. thank god for the young man at rb i got late in the recruiting season he has had to carry the load because howard is hurt and my pass game is so terribly inconsistent.. but again we get the win.. o and the restarts. In my condo my cable runs through the unit underneath me and they keep fuckin with my cable n knockin my shit out.. so today when dude comes in imma go do there and str8n it out so i dont have the problem ne more.. | |
