| Apparently you can only create recruits in the first year of OD. Would this be something you guys are interested in? I could bang out say one recruit for each user we have and then it's a race to fight for them throughout the season as we'll all know their value will be much greater than some of the shitty EA recruits they give you. Certainly I'd like to see some receiving TE's, coverage safeties, pass rushing LBs and scrambling QB's that can actually throw.
Lemme kno! | |

| If you don't mind putting in the time, I think its a great idea. At least for the first season, it adds alot to recruting. But I happen to be a big follower of recruiting on both rivals and scout. | |

| Me too. I'd be more than happy to do this as long as guys don't panic about starting but by the looks of things everyones relaxed and wants to make sure it's good and not rushed coz once we start we can't go back, you know?
I'd even make real recruits if you guys think that'd be cool, I may need some help with the scouting and stuff but if we got a group of you, me and another or maybe two others - it would be clock work. We could fill out specific formats of each player - what they bring to the table, what they lack in etc. etc. | |

| I think Rivals keeps it most simple. I'd be willing to make real life recruits I just would want to make sure I'm making those that are good enough to have more of an impact than the top 100 EA gives us. For instance guys like Kyle Prater, the countries #1 receiver signed with USC... would we create him and could he potentially go to another school? Or should I use the rosters, edit a big name player for each of our schools and do it like that? Decisions Decisions. | |

| As we all know speed continues to rule in this game well I found a post that has all of the 40 times turned into what they turn out to be in stats. http://www.operationsports.com/forums/ncaa-football/369263-recruiting-ratings-game-ratings.htmlIs the post, for instance the fastest I've seen any recruit is 4.32 and they turned out to have 95 speed. They were rated an A so I'm guessing... A+ 96 or more A 90 to 96 A- 84 to 90 It'd be interesting to figure out how they translate from ratings to gradings. We could certainly have the right 40 times for each player at very least. From there on we could compare HS numbers in terms of receptions = greater catching numbers, touchdowns = greater release/spectacular catch. I wouldn't want to be the one to decide how it all goes so plz list some possibilities. | |

| me and my bro along time ago we used make 3 players for each team cant be better than a number 1 recruit in the game so they would have to be like 80-83 n we based the stats off of recruits from ea. so u take the top wr n put him on ur team basically. adjust the ratings to match. this makes the building process alot easier. n if every user got to pick thier recruits position then it would be fair for everyone. thats alot of work tho mac to edit the rosters that way. just another opinion to throw out there. also even with putting a certain number in each state its gonna be impossible for a 4 star school to sign a big 5 star recruit like that. n the big schools will just get richer. and a 3 star school is gonna stand lil to no chance with all the bad grades they are gonna have. i really dont kno the best way for u to do this n make it fair. i think addin the players to ppl schools is the best way honestly cause if ne one person dominates the created players by chance then they will dominat this dynasty. n i guess thats real life but this early it wont be decided by beaing a good user and recruiting but by how good ur team is this yr(how many games u win and lose) and who has better prestige. idk just an opinion i love the idea tho.. | |

| I agree. I'd have to go in and add players or edit players up in order to make this fair for everyone. We can't all assume everyones got the Macc skillz when it comes to non schalantly handing these kids money under the table | |
