| Let'r go, Titan. Just keep it in the back of your head when you go up in a game next time. The race for the Big East is alive and well. I know my offence won't lead me there so I'm gonna need to be sharp defensively if I want to make a run.
And it all starts tonight with Buc's Arizona squad. *Sigh*
Buc, I'm gonna be on for the later part fot his evening. I bought myself a 32inch Samsung 720p flatscreen today, which will in fact mean I'll be home more often and able to play any time I'm not at work, incfreasing my availbility ten fold. Ill be setting up the tv when I get home at 830 and on as soon as I can be! You said 10pm central if I'm not mistaken? | |

| Duck Statement
Eugene, OR - After the offense struggled with Smith-Ellis's new offense last week, Oregon knew it needed a huge game from it's running attack. Facing an Ohio State team ranked #3 in the nation, the Ducks knew they had their hands full. But as Smith-Ellis preached all week: This was a statement game.
"I changed my name this year to Seamonster, so i told coach, feed the monster" Junior Oregon RB Lache Seamonster exclaimed "After the homie Lamichael James graduated, i knew i had to step up and put this team on my shoulders. I basically showed Ohio State how to do the Dougie."
And that is exactly what Seamonster did all day. Finishing the day with a huge game for the ducks with 30 carries, 185 yards and 5 TDs.
"This game was all about ball control and winning the turnover battle" Smith-Ellis added "We knew Ohio State would come into Autzen Stadium thinking we were a W on their schedule. But we wanted to let all of college football know... The Ducks are back...The Ducks are for real"
Ohio State was sloppy with the ball all day, turning it over 3 times which turned into 21 easy Oregon points. Oregon also was very efficient through the air with Qb Bryan Bennett going 8-10 162 yards and 1TD. But this game was all about Seamonster. The Ducks dominated time of possession as well holding the ball for about 20 minutes to Ohio states 8.
Tennessee travels to Autzen Stadium next week to face Oregon, in what is sure to be another statement type game for this program.
Final Score
Oregon 56 Ohio St. 13

| Buc my ps3 froze, i'm honestly exhausted. i've got to be up at 6am, i don't see how playing one quarter will help give us the result. Sure, it might tell us who would have won the game but, what do we do for the final 3 quarters?
We can do taht tommorow when I get fof work... but I'm goint o bed man sorry if you're pissed.
The score was 35-21 with 6:47 left in the 4th quarter when Buc dropped.

| Sorry Buc, it was like 1AM my time when you disconnected, and I would've had to sit and we would've had to replay. I can play tonight after work around 630PM eastern or late like 12:30am eastern, let me nkow what works best for you. I don't know how we recreate a situation in the 4th down. We could play the first quarter with you up 14, but it messes with the entire landscape of the game ie clock running when you go out of bounds, takes the momentum you had away... plus that wuold decide who wins, but how would we get an appropriate result? I guess since you were up you could play Pitt with me on autopilot, but I bet you wuoldn't want to do that. Let me know what you're thinking, I'll check back here on my lunch. | |
