| Final Score
Oregon 42 Cal 16
This was a game where clearly the cpu was trying to send a message. The score doesn't speak to how the cpu played at home. Cal jumped out to a 10-0 lead, and their defense was ferocious, blinding speed, continued to hit me for run losses in the backfield, picked off Bryan Bennett twice. If it wasn't for my defense causing 5 TO's this would have been a possible upset game.
Gruden...i saw you had trouble with Cal on the road too that it went into OT. What happened in your game?
Anyway...hopefully we can get an advance tonight, so that me and Gruden can get our PAC-10 Showdown in. That is going to be a barn burner

| About to kick off at WVU, who gave Titan a close close game last week.
Big ups to MTSU making the Big East a tight race this year. WVU is by no means a squash game, but sitting both #1 and #2 undefeated makes our game hella tense.
Brock Harris killing the awards department and I've got two in the top three for the Thorpe! Nice defence this year, BRING IT ON TITAN! lol

That is going to be a barn burner I don't recall to many details on the Cal game, but it was close, and should have probable lost....I scored with 0:04 to tie, and then won in OT...I do recall there HB D Yarnaway sp was very tough to stop...

| grey, when do you sleep? lol
and macc I was dominating WVU and then the momentum turned... i was up 27 to 6 at one point and then they started balling out on me lol... i got burnt twice ona corner blitz for a long touchdown, and that kinda swung the momentum, and then i coudlnt really do anything on offense the rest of the game, was relieved when i drove down and got a field goal to win, dont feel like i would have won if it went to overtime....
and yea im pretty pumped.... im about to play south florida here in a bit, then i got louisville, i think both at home, if i can get through those 2, and you get through WVU im gonna be fuckin hype for our game lol...

| Woahhh close one at WVU. Squeaked out with the 56-49 win.
Played TERRIBLE the first and fourth quarter. Thank god my second/third quarter play kept me in the game because WVU closed the 28 point gap to 21, outscoring me 21-0 in the fourth. They were killing me the entire first quarter, headed into the 2nd with a 14-7 lead but with the ball threatening. HUGE HUGE HUGE turnovers kept me alive.
The biggest, probably my favourite play from MLB Brock Harris this season (and there's been ALOT so that says just as much) the Mountaineers are up 7, with lots of momentum about to go into the half. I figure they're going to keep things conservative so I call a 2 man under and manually control Brock, he's to cover their running back in a 4WR set.
I follow his route into the flats the whole way and see that I'm getting some pressure at the line. I see their QB turn to fire at their back and I read the route, step up and make the huge user pick as Harris rumbles down the sideline for a pick six. His seventh interception on the year I believe, tied it at 28 going into the break and gave me some HUGE momentum in the third.
Third quarter, built a bigggg lead that I just barely held onto. At one point I was killing them, but WVU clawed back and made it a dog fight.
Those who have played big, all had big games for me today. Kory was, well Kory and caught 6 passes for 180 yards and 2TDs. Jordan Eldridge threw three interceptions, a number he'll need to keep down the rest of the year to keep his draft stock high, Reggie ran for almost 200. FS Preston East made some key BIG hits when WVU players got into the secondary.
This CPU game has a user game feel to it with the momentum shift constantly throughout. Also, like Titan, had they tied this up and it went to OT, I don't think I would've won.
This just makes the MTSU/PITT match-up even more important. I think I have a bye week so I'll need to be on my A-Game to send MTSU packing. Thank god I have them at home this year! Phew!
