2014 Week 10 Discussion

The SEC race heats up this week as south carolina and arkansas get together to do battle and decide who is the better team in the sec... as we get closer to the end of the season.. here is a bcs update and a potential natty champ picture..

#1 South Carolina plays ther first user game today.. and a win would help but still has to face the Mizzou tigers last game of the season so thier fate is still up in the air

#2 Washington has done well so far not losing to ne one they shouldn't lose to but the difficult part of thier schedule still lies in front of them with 2 user games in Oregon and Arizona in back to back weeks plus a game against Florida State in the acc 3 weeks in a row.. it would take alot but they can do it..

#3 Missouri has done well so far this year.., beating the #4 Team in the land at the time in Texas A&M but they still have south carolina lying in thier way plus a tough big xii champ game against either Oklahoma State or Texas..

#4 Pitt is rolling right along but still have a tough in confrence user game against MTSU.. but if they should make it pass thier game it should put them in as 1 or 3 have to lose..

#6 Florida State is the last team in the hunt quitely winning in the acc but they still have to get pass Washington and thier acc champ game against georgia tech..

One thing is for sure a 1 loss team has slim to no shot...

AHHH no lie macc has kicked my ass this year when it comes to head to head recruiting.. the cb the wr and the ss.. dude is a helluva recruiter! lol damn those panthers.. i wanna play them now so i can bomb that cb and ss all day and keep that wr from making ne catches! lol

should be a very interesting finish....is there any chance of a non controlled team making the NC game again...have not looked out the possibilities yet?

no shot...there arent any no loss teams out there on the horizon. looks like itll be all top 6 fighting for it.

i hope we can get this week in all tonight! i wanna play a game...i hate bye weeks and i have an important game with USC coming to Oregon. They are always a good challenge

nope florida was un beaten but loss to georgia last week... oklahoma state is undefeated but have to play me.. everyone else has a loss..

Plus Texas and Oklahoma St still play so one of them is gna drop

Stupid CPU loss in week 1 is gonna cost me a possible shot at defending my crown. Dangit, I would still have to beat Chris, but the I already played two of my three user games early

Okay I'm sorry to rehash but this is bugging me. I've taken a sim loss coz I couldn't get a game in VS Notre Dame. I dno't understand why Mydas games aren't just simmed, like mine has been when I'm keeping it up. It does dramatically affect my standing if and when they go undefeated and Ax was making sure he got a W. We need to keep the standard here and make sure people aren't getting cheap, easy wins. I understand the double standard us bugging Mydas to play so we can advance. Something needs to be done, if he can't be as availible as 90% of the rest of us, then I don't know if he cna keep up. Ax this is not a shot at you, or your bro... just my opinion about what's going on with this. I would've loved the opportunity to still have just a one deserved loss to a rival.

And in terms of recruiting, ur right. Beast is the correct word. I've gotten plenty lucky this year I think, I've got a crazy class if I signed that SS and that WR. Shades of my current junior class. I hope I dno't take a huge hit this year in terms of guys leaving early. I think I'll have to spend my ten hours first week bugging those guys to come back lol so I won't have much of an affect on off-season recruiting this year.

I'd like to play Mizzou again! Next year I've got to plsay three user games coz I only had two this season, we could schedule one??

The Top 5 undefeated race si crayz, I think the balance of power hasn't been so, balanced in any season so far.

I'm looknig at the most important game every year for me, VS MTSU. I think I've got them at home this year, which SHOULD help.

I'll be able to play my game when i get off work at 7PM EASTERN. I think I have a bye, tho. Can smoeone confirm for me?

go search for kids that still have 10 schools left...its likely that they dont have any offers yet...and if you offer, you may get a jump in their top 10....they aren't real highly rated obviously but its better than walk-ons

what is ur guys deal with that bucc has played games for cookan and vice versa this year i havent done ne thing for him.. at all not a single thing.. we could have waited and he would have been done by 7.. its just like bucc and a game and us having to wait same deal.. we advanced at 4 yesterday he had a flight to go home didnt get in till late then had work this am doesnt get off till 5.. all i did was make it so we didnt have to wait.. i dont understand the problem here.. we could have waited untill he got in.. like seriously whats the deal...? and does ne one see my 49-12 win over nebraska?! cause i dont see it in my dynasty wire screen i see the story but i dont see the results for me!!! Ur right ax, I do remember Buc playin som for coke but coke's been pretty damn active lately, so much I forgot they'd even done that.

And I aplolgize for the double standard like I said, bugging you to adv, he not being able to play. I just think that if he's not around to play after what 18 hours? It should be a str8 sim.

anniversary is today, and we are headed to a concert tonight. I may try to play late tonight, as I am on fall break from school for the remainder of the week!!!

So I will play either late tonight, or early tomorrow before I do yard work ARGH....

back to you have to earn all games....we as a league need to decide what is more important?
A. We slow down ADV speed to be at least around 24 hour mark, Mydess should have had the chance to play it would have been less then 18 hours since last ADV had he played tonight around 7 or
B. If we want to ADV asap every week, games should be straight SIM....no Win should be a gimme

*Note, playing a Rival game on the road is just brutal...Just played 0-7 OSU in Corvallis and the game was very tight...OSU QB threw for
22-29 346 3 TD and no INT....game wasn't decided till the final 1:31 when I scored a TD to push it from 34-29 to 41-20 the final score...again, no game should be a gimme

agree with you Chris, we need to make a decision about 24 hours then sim....UNLESS there is a reason given to have an extension...(like Concert, birthday, work related activities..just to name a few)

Or if we are gonna go ready as we go...and sim all who isn't done, if we feel ample time has been given....

I say we go get your game in WITHIN 24 hours minimum, unless you have had communication.... but try to get it in ASAP as in before the 24 hour period is up unelss you just cant.

ya i vote option 1 it wasnt even 18 hrs if we waited i dont even think its a big deal like i could secretly play these games.. and this kinda shit is y goat left.. we get to advance happy and go o well if u have a life were are moving ahead.. and thats not fair... i kno that im about to be traveling alot so if im gone for 2 days am i gonna come back to 4 losses because 6 guys hung around thier ps3 for a while? mydas didnt get a free win.. i played that whole entire game for him.. from start to finish.. it was no sim... honestly alot of the pettyness around here is starting to get to me.. we play to have fun.. period.. like why are we even arguing over this? as u can see i dont hang out on the boards as much because its soo much bickering on here and less talk about each others teams and games and recaps.. who wants to read that every day?

Ax I can understand why youd say that byut nobodies bickering. We're handling an issue as we always do, talk it out and a all give oufr opinion. It's no more bickering that would be about restards, recruit restrictions, slider adjustments. You can't back out of the foundation of this OD, the ADV ASAP policy after a full year of yus because we've added people that cannot be as active as us. Back to my original point, why add somebody that would slow us down???? Nobodies bullyin or pickin on ya bro, I'm just stating my opinion, he shouldn't get a win because you played his ghame thats a free win in my opinion, your a senior member around here and know how to handle the CPU. Not poking at Mydas' ability in this game, just stating the fact.

ya K, i don't see any bickering going on in regards to this issue...hope you don't take it that we are attacking you about this....here are the options as i see it, and i will put in order my preference...

1. Everyone plays game as soon as possible within 24 hours....if an issue comes up, bday, anniversary, etc we notify the league and wait till they get a chance to play
*In a player vs player game as long as we all communicate the game may go past 24 hours but as long as everyone is communicating we should be fine....if a player is not communicating trying to set up a game after 24 hours they are set to auto.

2. If player is out of town for extended period of time 3 day's or more, they are set to auto and there games are straight simmed

3. No one ever get's an automatic Win...by either SIM till the W occurs or someone else playing for them.

look for 1, 2, 3 star players that have no offers...you may get a couple bites even if your not in there top 10 to start out....

im just saying its not about my brother or ne thing but it was communicated that his flight left at a certain time and it would have to wait till xyz.. mid day today it was asked about again and i gave another option if ppl couldnt wait.. but in this situatation i told u he was gonna be en route to home and it would have to wait untill 6ish this evening.. im not saying slow the pace down to accomodate one person but sometimes we get to advance happy today was one of those instances.. ther was communication it wasnt an unreasonable request.. but u guys do as u see fit..

I don't see why ax is anywhere in the wrong here nobody in all honesty wants to wait on someone to play a CPU game his bro obviously couldn't play so he took care of it to speed up the process
