2014 Conference Championship Week Discussion

For the second time in 2 games the Tigers enter a battle that pitts # 1 vs #2 As what has quickly become and intense rivalry heats up again this time its for a spot in the national championship game and the big xii title.. Missouri and Oklahoma State get it on in what is sure to be another epic battle..

Also another big game on the slate that isnt getting as much pub but should be is the rematch in the Acc.. FSU got the better of Georgia Tech earlier in the season but the yellow jackets were without thier head coach on the sideline.. This time he is back and determined to beat perhaps one of the best coaches ever in coach cookan at Florida State... His resume is perhaps the best of ne coach in the league as he is always in the national title game hunt and has won several.. In one year since reliving Jimbo Fisher he has florida state on the cusp of making it into another nationtal championship game..

Pitt is the odd man out here after running the tables and winning thier 3rd Big East title in a row the Panthers sit n scoreboard watch as they need a georgia tech upset to get int.. either that or a miracle in the polls depending on what happens in the big xii game.. last game of the season and thier is till plent on the line for alot of teams!!!

what does the schedule look like for that ACC champ game?

wow i just played oklahoma state and cookan that team is insane i have never played a game where the cpu was soooo fast and was sooo determined to win.. and ea was not gonna let me blow them out.. my qb was on fire and he was the diffrence 22-29 401 tds another 78 on the ground and another td.. okie state scores first to go up 7 nothing i scored to tie and after one it was 28-21... then after that my defense showed up some.. but the passing for okie state was lethal 400 and change and 5 tds.. they ran aggresive no huddle almost all game.. and got a onside kick towards the end.. it was crazy a few bad plays and i would have lost that game.. but i get out with the w.. 42-32

im done with classes tommorow after about 11 am so ill probably try to connect from my dorm around then, and if that doesnt work i should be able to swing by my boys crib after...

yea i think he did, controversial fashion as are all of their meetings it seems like lol

maybe you two need t layout what is troubling you and as a league we can better understand what the issue(s) are? imagine this isn't the last time you two will ever meet? may help so there is no hard feeling assuming one of you looses the NC game?

how are all the coaching changes we have been talking about gonna go down?

ya me and cookan will be alright.. i won the last meeting in epic fashion... we just cant be in the same conference and play every week lol its too much..

need to find the post about order and preference and changes... and then we need to discuss who is intrested in moving.. i was pretty sure we said only 2 moves a year.. so i think the first question is who wants to move for sure?!

Coaching Move Guideline....

1-6* star teams never available
(ND, OSU, Texas, Florida, USC, Oklahoma, Alabama, LSU) *am I missing anyone?
2-2 Coach's per season max can move
3-A coach needs to be at program for 4 years minimum
4-Major accomplishment need to be meet
-One of the following... A) National Title B) Winning record in BCS bowls C) 2 or more Conference Championships
5-Sensitivity to conference balance
6-5 year rule should be in place, if a coach does not meet any of those criteria or loses a star in prestige, then they essentially get "fired" and the committee comes up with a few job offers equal to or less than the team they are at.
7-Coach has to nominate themselves before off-season, and get's to do off season for new team

Just an FYI, I will not be able to play my bowl game until tomorrow afternoon.
