Has a solid build, but will easily add size in college. He has a very powerfull upper body and uses his strength to punish opponents. Very good on run blocking where he uses his strength to coil up and knock opponents off balance. Needs some work on pass protection but he is okay in that category. Can get to the second level and be used to pull.
Biography:
2015: In Mike Paul's junior season (8-5, three rounds deep into the playoffs)he had 161 knockdowns, 155 pancake blocks, and an average line score of 89 percent. Paul says he can bench 420-pounds, squat 595 and claims a 28-inch vertical jump.
Paul reports a 3.5 core GPA and is awaiting his March 14 SAT result
Paul: “I’m really good at finishing off blocks. I don’t stop until the whistle blows. I’m always practicing my technique and am working on playing lower. I need to bend my knees more and improve my balance. I also need to work on staying square in pass protection.”

Is very good against reach blocks (sweep, etc.), primarily because of his length, but he needs to work on condensing gaps against base blocks (inside run, ISO, etc.). Huge upside--Burke Hayes
Biography:
Following his junior season, Houston received All-Area, All-Region, and second team All-State recognition after accumulating 105 tackles including 17 for a loss and eight sacks, and 34 quarterback hurries.
Plans to graduate in December.

2015: Chris Gonzalez was named 2A FSWA First Team All-State OL. Gonzalez says he can bench 414-pounds, squats 550 and has a 32-inch vertical jump.
Gonzalez wants to major in business and reports a 2.8 core GPA and a 1120 two-part SAT, which he plans on retaking.
Gonzalez: “I think I’ve been coached well and have a high level of discipline. I have good size and strength and think that I can dominate at the high school level. I’m also really athletic for my size.
“My school has been traditionally known as a running school so I’m pretty strong on run protection.”
“But this year we’ve got a pretty good strong-armed quarterback and plan on passing the ball a lot more. I’m excited about that. I’ll get to work on my pass protection and just work on being a better overall lineman.”

An amazing tackler, he can bring down anyone one on one. Excels on special teams where his combination of speed and tackling ability help him shut down returns. On defense he excels at run defense where he is able to fly to the ball and disengage from any blockers.
Biography:
As a senior, Johnson had 60 tackles, nine tackles for loss, three sacks, three forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries and two interceptions with one defensive touchdown. Myron Johnson registered 87 tackles, 25 tackles for loss, eight sacks, six forced fumbles and two blocked punts as a junior. Johnson says he can bench 384 pounds and squat 300.
He has officially posted a 4.60 40-yard dash, 4.58 short shuttle, 10-foot-1 standing broad jump and 40-inch vertical leap.
His father is former Maryland Terrapin nose guard Tyrone Johnson, who played for the Terps from '79 to '83 and was a three-year letterman.
Johnson reports a 2.4 core GPA and 17 ACT, which he retook on Oct. 24.
Johnson: “I have great vision and explosiveness. I’m very athletic (claims a 40-inch vertical jump) and have great closing speed to the ball.
“I want to improve my coverage on defense and be a better pass rusher. On offense I’m just working on my hands and catching the ball better.”

Bob Weaver is the younger brother of Leonard Weaver (Carson-Newman of '05) who has better tools than his older brother at the same stage.
Weaver says he can bench 480-pounds, squat 555 and has a 28-inch vertical jump.

Weaver wants to major in either marketing or finance and reports a 3.5 core GPA and took the ACT on Dec. 12.

He is very physical but can sometimes be too aggressive and take himself out of the play. Some feel that Anderson is destined for a move to linebacker with his size but he has very good change of direction skills and the speed to cover a lot of ground.
Biography:
Anderson played through his junior season on an injured shoulder, but still finished with 47 tackles and four interceptions from his free safety spot.
