| I cherish the fact that I must respect the cpus run game now....I remember in last years game...all users lead the Nation in run D...and the CPU wouldnt even run after a while.....now the run is always an option...and if you dont finish your tackles, they will break it on you...just like we can do to them

| I pursure, dont really try to make the tackle necessarily with the first guy, then wait for others to rally | |

| Pittsburgh Nabs 2 Recruits Before Rivalry Week
Coach Macc took a few calls on his cellphone this morning prior to his normal gameday routine. It's been announced on Rivals.com that ESPNU150 #10WR Billy Brown (JUCO-JR Plattsburgh, NY) and #15 QB Braylon Riley (HS Laguna Hills, CA) have committed to being Panthers next fall. Macc's ability to stretch out nearly across the country to land one of the brightest young QBs in the recruiting pool this season is capped off with Riley signing. Brown a near instant commitment to Pittsburgh, after having his dream of playing college ball right out of high school was crushed with a drug possession charge in his senior year. After playing two seasons at his junior college in New York, Brown and his 4.32 speed are going to be donning the navy and gold next fall and his mixture of size, speed and hands are going to be a big asset to the PITT Passing game.
Pittsburgh Impresses Recruits on Rivalry Week
The Pitt faithful we're extatic when Pennsylvania native RB Tommy Holt signed with the Panthers last season. If anybody was wondering if Holt was worth all of the hype, his breakout game of the season put the haters to rest to the tune of a 259 yard game with 3 rushing scores and 140 kick return yards and a brilliant KR for a major. And what better time to do it than his very first night game on Primetime TV. Holt took the game over after the first quarter, when he hit a big run to end the first. Holt seemed to put it into 5th and 6th gear the rest of the game, blowing past defenders any time he touched the ball. QB Kyle Crosby played well enough to win, a 135 yard day with 3 scores and an INT in the redzone. The defense played lights out, MLB Akim Bullock hauled in his second interception of the year and recorded three tackles. First year JR FS Josh Lyles lead the team in tackles with 6 as well as two important pass deflections. Lyles is filling in for the big void at free safety at the beginning of the season nicely.
Pitt stomped The Fighting Irish 72-26.

| I'm not sure I understand the logic being applied.
1. If something strange happens its only bad if u lose?
2. A freak occurrence that is enabled by our settings is ok if it only happens every once in a while. Should the CPU b able to run for 400 on anyone?
3. I have never had a back score once every 4 times he touches the rock and go for 400 yards. If I did ppl on here would he losing their mind. See any of the ax/ sim discussions for proof.
4. Folks have expressed concern over the rb play. I just represent an extreme example of it. Why does it need.to be validated by Titan, or 9s or macc? The shit just happened to me. The fact that in can happen is the problem.

| Im not validating anything, you have your opinion and I have mine. I think sliders should stay the same as we have right now.. you have a point by saying that it COULD happen at anytime, but until it happens to multiple people several times I dont think there is a reason for change?? | |

| Gator you can't play ever when shes awake? the time that my fiance fucked with my controller she at least had her reasons, that she wanted to go on a couples movie night. What happens if you play before 12 central?
if we play at 12 central...its gotta be on the dot brotha....i gotta get up for work at 7am friday. and i work 9am to 5pm everyday.
So let me know if you can do it any earlier than 12 central...if not i guess 12pm central on the dot! no pausing for 20 minutes either...cuz 12 central is 1am my time, add in pausing and our game ends at like 230am. thats too late.

| Love the recruiting write up Macc and Bucc.....good stuff....So it's sounds like the Holt era is off to a nice start Macc, very impressive.....in regards to sliders.... 1)Sliders should be left alone till end of the season....like 9's said not fair to adjust mid season imho 2)The rushing effort by the OSU back is silly, and mydas I understand your concern a believe we need to discuss....the problem is there are a few voicing they have no problem with running backs or stopping them in the game...and don't have any better roster then you have mydass, so to take one game and adjust the sliders completely seems like an over reaaction....like some have said, set to conservative and see how it goes the rest of the season and then lets all discuss....perhaps 9's/gGang whom I assume both have to play this kid at OSU will have similar feelings after playing and some more input? 3)I'm all for encouraging coach's to take a FG, so adjusting the power/acc seems good to me, but let's again discuss at the end of the year 4)I like how tough it is to get a rush, seems like hit and miss one series I can't get any pressure, then all of a sudden I will have 2 plays in a row were I get a sack?... 5)All that being said I'm pretty satisfied with the sliders....

| and not to be a dick Mydas....but didn't you ask us for our thoughts?? or was that rhetorical?.....I think the key thing you said....is...yes this has never happened to you before...so it does seem like an aberration.... but again, this wasn't some pissant RB playing out his ass....this is a stud 91 rated back doing what he does....yes 400 yards is pretty obscene...I agree with you...but we played a whole season with these same sliders and I dont remember anything except that same GTECH squad, who Boon made into a pretty awesome squad, being complained about(yes I'm ignoring your bros early complaints, because he was so set against hating the new sliders, nothing could have appeased him I believe) Me and Gang, who definitely have lesser squads than you, will play him later in the season.....I dont understand your anger towards some cats giving their 2 cents(which we have always encouraged here) I can only speak for myself...but you seem to be in the minority about the sliders | |

| well gator if we can get an advance by 530pm eastern i can play you then (430pm central), if not itll have to be at 12 central i guess. so lets check back in around 415central and see if ax can advance. im pretty sure the only ones left were macc and ggang...although i think we might be out of luck with ggang bc he works till 11pm i think | |

| I think the sliders should be left alone I like them there isn't going to be a set of sliders that is perfect so I think we should stick with what we got | |

| Revenge is sweet for Coach Phillips
USF Bulls down the Wildcats 35-14
A tight game in the first half, then the Bulls ran away with it.
True Fr QB Pettit had his moments with 2INT, but also had two nice TD passes. RB Peters ran for 119 at a 6.0 ypc
True Fr WR Burton had 99 yards and 1TD
Check out one of the videos of an Arizona INT. It was pretty cool, even though I was ticked at the time lol.
This was an important win and hopefully will springboard us into conference play.

i think we should swap georgia tech, the fvck out of the ACC. lol try playing them with a great semi cheesy user back when my team was complete shit i lost to them last season. but, at least i had a chance. last night, from their first drive, the cpu let me know they were going to fvck my virgin ass without a lubricant. i've played games before where the cpu has beaten me like a baby seal. but that chit last night was absolutely unreal. i mean, it wasn't even close. i played man on D about 70% of the time. all my db's have man coverage ratings of 83 or better. every wr they threw the ball to, was open by a minimum of 7 yards. it was fvcking ridiculous. i had to go back and watch the replay a few times to make sure i didn't only have 8 men on the field. it was an ass raping of epic proportions. i'm still walking with a limp.
