- Wow. I gotta say this is the craziest game I've ever played. Take our previous game and just completely turn it around. No offence last game but this one lacked NONE. The Miss Rebels are Sugar Bowl Repeat Champions, 31-28. GGang is unreal, that boys got GAME! We only figured out at halftime that we both had mics so we played the second half mic'd up it was pretty sick. I used my entire playbook and that game took everything out of me. Now it's time to go shower because I was straight up SWEATING.
Yeah that game had me going crazy. I could have took the game into ot but i missed at 46 yard fg with 8 seconds on the clock. We went back and forward the whole game. A definite classic.

| In its first trip to the Rose Bowl since 1936 Pitt made easy work of LSU 42-10. Pitt came out with a power run attack laid by Dion Lewis and never looked back. Lewis rushed for 159 yds 25 att. "It felt good to finally be at a hundred percent this yr for once and be out there helping my team in the heat of the battle" said Lewis. "Dion was key all yr for us regardless of when he was on the field or when he was injured, he help Ray Graham all yr too fill the void and I dnt think we missed a beat. said coach Shaw. the panthers D gave a solid effort as well holding LSU to 10 point and pretty much made them one dimensional by take away the pass. "We were confident that we could stop them almost every time out it was just a matter of being in the right spots and executed the correct assignments" Said Pitt Defensive Coordinator Anthony Williams. Now Pitt will turn the page to the Off Season and try to close out with a impressive recruiting class. "We'll enjoy this for a few days as a staff and soak it all up but we know that we have to get back to work for next yr we'll meet set our goals, see what needs to be changed and try to Bring home a 10th National Title back to Pitt in the 2011 season" said Coach Shaw | |

| REBELS REPEAT SUGAR BOWL 2010!!!
The Ole Miss Rebels Repeat Sugar Bowl Champions
In what turned out to be one of the greatest games in college football history, the 2010 Sugar Bowl was a match up that both the Illinois Fighting Illini and the Ole Miss Rebels we're certainly looking forward to.
"Well, when we heard the news we were playing Illinois the coaching staff shared a long sigh of frustration because in week 13, their defence didn't allow us to do a single thing. We were expecting another defensive battle, but as you saw today - it turned out to be anything but," Macc said.
The Rebels took the early lead in the game as Eddie McGee threw an interception on the second play of their opening drive. In what appeared to be a playcalling error, LE Gerald Rivers went up and returned the interception putting six on the board. 7-0 Miss.
Illinois however fought right back and drove right down the field, scoring on a passing play to their star wideout Cordale Scott that tied it up at 7. The Rebels took the ensuing kick off and moved the ball well down the field, better than they did the entire game the first time the two met. An option pitch to Brandon Bolden capped off the drive giving the Rebels the 14-7 lead.
On the ensuing drive, the Fighting Illini went over the top on the very first play to Scott again and despite the double coverage and what appeared to be an easy pickens for All American FS Derrick Herman, Cordale despite contact brought the ball down, shook the Jeremy McGee tackle and even broke a Herman tackle to take it in for the score.
The Illini forced a punt and took the ball again deep on their side of the 50. Illinois called a toss left and MLB Jonathan Cornell was right there to lay a licking on Mike LeShoure, putting the ball on the ground. CB Jeremy McGee took the scoop and score for 6. 21-14 Miss.
"We really stressed that we wanted to go into the locker room at halftime with a 7 point lead. We elected to receive the ball in the 2nd half, so we felt that even if we could only afford to put three on the board - we would be in a good position. We certainly had the opportunity..." Macc said.
With that opportunity, the field goal unit came out to make it a 10 point game but Illinois had other plans. A shanked field goal resulted in a FG Return touchdown tying the game at 21 and giving all of the momentum to Illinois. Things continued to escalate for the Rebels as Illinois proved the third quarter was all theirs. QB Ray Cotton was backed up on the Mississippi 6 the next drive and an attempt to throw while being hit resulted in a pick 6, giving Illi the 28-21 lead.
The fourth quarter began with a Coach Macc pep talk to his players to keep their heads in the game and to play their hearts out - this would be the last game for many of the players on the field and it seemed to spark life because the Rebels owned the fourth quarter. Ray Cotton drove his team down the field and put them well in field goal range to make it a 4 point game.
"We contemplated going for it on 4th early in the 4th quarter but we felt our defence would do what it took to force a punt and we felt comfortable with the 3 points," Macc said.
The field goal was sucessful this time and the Illi sideline gameplanned a drive that would put them in the endzone and back up 7 points. Strong defensive pressure and pass defence resulted in Illinois punting the ball about as close to field goal range as you could get. Ray Cotton & Company took the field and he had the entire game in his hands with over 3 minutes on the clock, down by 4.
Well distributing the ball to all of his backs and receivers brought the Rebels down inside into Illinois territory. A 4th and long conversion to FB Derrick Davis kept the drive alive as the entire Rebel Nation watched as they held their breath while the CLUTCH running back made the 4th down conversion. The Rebels didn't appear to be slowing down and the drive was capped off with a couple of hurry up offensive calls that caught Illi off guard and Brandon Bolden took a catch in for 6, giving Miss the 3 point lead with a little over 30 seconds on the clock.
However, the game was FAR from over. Illinois drove the ball all the way down with their three timeouts and got into field goal range, what turned out to be the game winning squad for Illinois in their last meeting. Junior Kicker Derek Dimke hit a field goal from 56 yards in Oxford in Week 13 and he was called on to tie the game and bring it into what would be over time.
"I don't think messing with a kids psyche, especially at this age is the call a coach should make but with what was on the line and knowing how good this kid is - we had to ice him with a time out,"
Dimke kicked the ball and it seemed to hang in the air for what would appear to be forever. At first it looked as if he shanked it and then it caught some air and appeared as if it would JUST slip in. It ended up hitting the cross bar just wide, Miss took the QB kneel for the 31-28 victory and sealed their second straight Sugar Bowl. | Macc, if need be, you can the bowl game. Clev was up 7-0 in the first when he lost his connection. Its been close to an hour now, and he's still not back online. I have to turn in for the night in about an hour or so, and don't wanna hold things up. Also, being the season has been somewhat of a wash, due to the past sim issues, I won't lose sleep over another L.

| 2010 Fiesta Bowl turns into an Instant Classic, as TCU over comes the Beavers with a 41-34 victory: Glendale, AZ---
Not to be outdone by the Sugar Bowl, the Fiesta turned into a classic as well. Riding the initial momentum of the bowl game, TCU jumped out to a 14-0 lead in the first quarter behind a blacned attack, with A. Timmons and WR J. Young each going in for the score.
The Beavers settled down in the second quarter and looked to their Heisman winner J. Rogers as he catches 3TD's in the second quarter outscoring the Horned Frogs 21-3...and taking a 21-17 lead into half.
..."We started out hot, and then as the game settled dowm, we saw what the Heisman winner can do, we tried everything on him and still couldnt get him off his timing..he was a great route runner.."
The thrid quarter belonged to the Horned Frogs as they got the kickoff and drove the field and hit WR J. Young for his second receiving TD of the game, to take a 24-21 lead.
3 FG's in the start of the fourth quarter by TCU AA Kicker R. Evans provided a cushion of 33-21 with 2:16 left in the game. But R. Katz and the OSU offense would not be finished. On the second play from scrimmage being down 12 points, Katz hits M. Wheaton for an 80 yard strike.." we were so focussed on Rogers out wide, we left the slot open, and Katz made a great read..."
As TCU recovered the onside kick, the OSU defense made a huge play, stuffing two previous runs and having timeouts, the TCU Offensive Coordinator got greedy and passed, all for not as it was INTERCEPTED and returned for a TD, and the failed two-point conversion left a 34-33 game with 1:30 left.
Dalton would complete a few passes to around midfiled, and on a 3&1 Tucker takes a sweep and cruises 54 yards for the game winning TD.
The 2010 Fiesta Bowl earned an ESPN Instant Classic
Players of the Game
K- R.Evans 4-4FG, Long 54 J. Rogers 5 Rec 98 yards, 2 TD
M. Tucker finished with 22 car, 119yrds 1 TD
