Short Game Recap

Oregon got the ball first and went 3 and out. Gruden was able to march down the field and score to take a 7-0 lead. It was clear from the start that Gruden was focusing on ball control as he was running a very dink and dunk offense. On Oregon's next possession Bryan Bennett found Lowe for a 3rd down 11 yard TD. With the second half winding down, Oregon fell into a cover two and Gruden unleashed the long bomb. The Oregon FS misjudged it and Gruden was able to score to take a 14-7 lead on a 78 yard pass.

Gruden received it the second half and i was able to make him punt after a couple of first downs. Oregon moved the ball down the field but they stalled and settled for a FG making it 14-10. Gruden was able to march back down and almost score, but was stopped on a 3rd and goal. He hit the FG making it 17-10 Washington.

With 3:45 remaining in the game, Oregon knew it needed a score. Because the Huskies had been controlling the ball all day and if they didn't score the game was likely over. Spreading the field out, Bennett was able to march the Ducks all the way down within striking distance. And with a minute left he found Lowe for his 2nd TD to tie the game.

With all his Timeouts and enough time remaining, Washington Spread the field with 4WRs. But on the first pass play of the drive, QB Price was picked off and Oregon was able to kick the game winning FG to close it out.

Good Game Gruden...You should have had that one

Not sure I should have won it, it was a pretty close statistical game, but the huge numbers was my two TO vs you having none....that last pick to set up GW was horrible forced and you made a good play on it....

well it looks like it might be awhile, ax is not on at the moment, and mydas looks like he is playing his game

I think ax gets on his name and super sims.... don't really get why mydas is still in it lol

Macc you will get my best shot... give me a 1215 to 1245 window to make sure I'm off work, I am on break right now and only have 2 more trucks so I should be but just to be sure... I just got chills thinking about this game, it must happen tonight macc, I want that trophy to come back to the boro with me!!!!!!!!!!!

it seems more fair to straight SIM the game if he is not going to play since he is in the top 5 and impacts how the NC game pans out?
